MAJOR LCF POSTER!

Yol for Life
This is important for me today. I am starting Lean for Life.
I tried so many times to restart a LC weight loss program after doing Atkins. It never worked because I never followed it through. Weight 206 How do I feel on this first day? I won’t have any problem remembering to eat during the day not because of hunger but because of feeling weak. Headachy and afraid of breakfast. This morning I had my first ever black coffee and it wasn’t bad. Here we go. Breakfast: 2 egg whites cooked in no fat One slice light cheese because I did not have fat free One black coffee. Now one hour later, I feel good. I enjoyed the coffee but there won’t be any exercise today because I have been ill with fever and a summer cold. I am still coughing. |

Yesterday’s food was:
Lunch: ground beef patty and decaf diet Pepsi. Snack: ½ cup Cottage Cheese Supper: pork Snack: 2 slices low fat cheese. I know that I was supposed to have tuna for lunch but I couldn’t. I drank a lot of water and this morning it is hard for me to figure out if I am feeling different because I have been feeling out of sort for a week now. I just weigh myself, that is after breakfast and I am 205. I am waiting for the keto metal breath before switching to WL phase. A part of me would love to start it tomorrow. I am not doing much physically so I am not eating much. I am still coughing so it is easy for me to have small amount of food but when health returns I am afraid that I will get hungry the good part is that in a couple more days I will have the benefits of Ketosis to shrink my appetite. Last night I let myself imagine a 50 pounds loss and I smiled. I should not weigh myself until next Tuesday. |

I am rereading parts of the book everyday and it does help me with paragraphs where I was not paying attention the first time around.
I have to get something different for snacks when I go shopping. Yesterday’s food: Breakfast: Coffee – egg white, I slice low fat cheese. Snack: LF cheese Lunch:Leftover Pork Snack: Cottage cheese Supper:Chicken Snack: LF cheese. |

Breakfast:
Juice of one lemon. 2 egg whites and one slice LF cheese Coffee Snack: ½ cup 2% Cottage Cheese Lunch: Chicken Snack: FF chicken Supper: 2 cups lettuce and one small tomato 3.5 oz shrimps Snack: Shrimps. Obviously, I am having some trouble pushing up my carbs and lowering my fat. One of the reasons is that I am just now starting to increase my volume of food; the idea is to keep the food down when I cough. A smaller amount will stay in. I weigh myself today and I am down to 204. I cannot remember when I was this low before. My ketostick is on the low range but I think that is because I haven’t exercised this week.

If I take into account going from 218 to 206 one week before staring LFL and now here I am at 204. I am a happy camper I did not gained back any pounds from being sick the week before, so this is a respectable weight loss.
I am not some weird calorie freak; really, I just have a hard time figuring out my food. |

I saw 199 on the scale this morning and I am taking it. It has been 4 years since I saw this number. It is strange when I see the numbers going down it keeps me from eating carbs.
When I first read the diet it said to go from 50 to 100 carbs a day but what it does not say is that in a way it is like Atkins in the sense that you have to gradually make your way up the scale of carb numbers. You don’t just jump from protein day to 50 carbs without losing your ketosis. I am too scared to increase carbs right now. I know that I will have to do it soon, but since I am losing, I am too high to stop it. Soon I will plateau, than I will add carbs. |

Breakfast: Coffee 2 large egg white One slices LF cheese. I had no snack, this was one crasy day I had some chicken wings and I found them too fat, my taste buds are changing. I walked all afternoon so I am sure this counts as exercise. For Supper: I had 1/2 tomatoe and 1/4 cup liver. Thats it. I could not eat anymore because I was so dehydrated from the day in the heat, it just gagged me. I am now drinking a lot of water and I have a timer on, to eat a snack later, maybe 1/2 cup cottage Cheese. |
