Fat Girl Slim - My Little Journey

I'm in a good place.

I'm not the biggest I have ever been and I am almost the smallest I have been in my adult life. I am the fittest I have ever been and I am very happy with my every day life.

I have been dieting since I was 15, a member of Weight Watchers more times than I care to count and constantly struggling with the guilt involved with living, eating and dealing with my body.

Right now I want this to be the last year I struggle with and I really want to be my best self by the end of this year. Next year we want to start trying for a bubba and I want to do that with a very healthy body. I also want to be a sexy mumma with the baby bulge.

So today was my first protein day on the Lean for Life program. I did one last Friday too and then restarted again today because I wanted to be on the same page as my friend who is doing the same diet.

I've been experiencing head aches today and feeling a bit.... well ugh.... but I know it is worth it.

My trainer says to do this diet to the minimum that I can. He'd like me to go on to the normal days starting tomorrow. I'll decide how I feel when I wake up.

I'm looking forward to waking up in the morning feeling thinner, which I always do after a protein day. I know I won't show anything up on the Keto Stick but I'm cool with that.

I'm looking forward to making smart decisions tomorrow and empowering myself with the good decisions I make and not experiencing guilt in any form.

Love to me and my body. xx

I had a great week last week with a loss of 2.6kg. I know this diet/way of eating really works for me.

On Friday I weighed in and felt fantastic. My trainer said that I was the leanest that he has seen me in a long time.

Saturday night was my sister's party. I felt fantastic and had a great night. My plan was to have one or two drinks and be well behaved. Well..... plan down the drain.

We were sooooo busy running around all day that we forgot to eat, and then when it came to the night by two drinks I was the life of the party.

Sunday I didn't eat for most of the day because I was so ill, but then had to front up and cook a three course dinner for my whole family for my sisters birthday.

Monday I woke up sick with an ear ache and the flu... so didn't really feel like cooking up some protein. This has lasted all week and I still feel a little 'ugh'. My plan is that on Monday I will start back on proteins.

I have probably put on 1 or 2 kilos. My body hates carbs. I am at peace with that though.

I'm not going to give up though, and will not allow this week to be anything more than a speed hump.
