Hey T - I know you will make it through. I shut off my computer last week to enjoy Spring Break with the kids. It is good to be back and I missed you!

Hey, Kelley! Welcome back, girl. Glad you enjoyed some bonding time with your children over their break. Missed you greatly too.

Dani, I agree, Rich skated out of that one, didn't he? Grandma saved the day.

And yes, the day has gotten much easier. The hunger issues went away and I'm having a great day satiety wise, believe it or not. I'm becoming more and more conscious of my nutrition these days. Anal? Maybe. But I'm on a mission, and I plan to get it done, and it's worth the time and attention it takes. Worth every second of my time.

MON ARP 20

Yes, the hungries took care of themselves with my eating a bit more pre-workout this morning than I usu do, just a bit. And it being a medium day in rotations, I had what has come to be my favorite breakfast: steel-cut oats, 1 oz banana, 1/2 c fat-free cottage cheese, .30 oz walnuts, 1/2 scoop butter toffee whey protein, 1 Tbs plain granola, shake of cinnamon and a cup of coffee.

YUMMMMMMMMMY.

Had a snack about 10 this morning, and the rest of the day was a breeze. My body woke me up with a reality call this morning. I didn't necessarily need the alarm clock. My tummy's protests were louder. And I fed it, and like a well-behaving pet, it performed nicely for me and then relaxed.

As I said, I am listening closer than I ever knew it was possible to my body's signals. What does MY body need? Want? I'm finding out.

Driving home from work, I felt a deep sleep coming on .... OH, NO .... and I knew it was time to gear down for chill mode and get some rest. I had planned on 30-40 min nap. I woke up from my coma two hours later feeling perfectly rested and refreshed -- and THANKFUL that my sons allowed me to sleep uninterruptedly.

I've now had dinner and reflecting back on another day of success. I'm blessed. So blessed. I never want to ever take it for granted.

Hey lovely -

I PM'd you some links to my Facebook pics. I had no joy trying to upload...
Let me know if you get them...

You are so intune with your body - you understand what it needs from you, when you need something from it (does that make sense?) - obviously this came over time right?

I spoke to my dietician, and to be honest she gave me literature on LGL and was helpful. She didn't give me too much info when I asked her about cycling. Said there wasn't enough clinical evidence to show it is successful. But I really want to incorporate that in to my WOE - where would be the best place to start and read up on this, any ideas?
Right am off to browse some quick, easy vegetarian protein ideas.

Hey T - your breakfast sounds scrumptious! Can you please tell me that protein powder you use? I like Jay Robb's vanilla, but your flavors sound so yummy. Take care and thanks for the cutie pie you left on my journal!

G, got the links. YOU'RE GORGEOUS. Take a deep breath, heal, recover, watch your nutrition while healing, and when you're all better, we'll talk carb rotations.

Track your food in the meantime, know where you stand. It's a critical map of success.

Hungrier today. Energy average. Didn't sleep well last night. I woke up several times throughout the night, so that may have had something to do with my energy.

Today will be a medium day in rotations. With that in mind, I tried a new recipe last night to have for breakfast this morning (to save time, prep'd last night b4 bed)...CAN'T WAIT. Oatmeal protein pancakes, my style. I'm anxious to see how they balance out for me as my 2nd meal of the day.

How I choose to eat may seem like a pain to some, a sacrifice, "life's too short," obsessive, etc. I've grown to love what I eat, how I eat, how it makes me feel, the energy it gives me, the clarity it offers, and the unquestionable feeling of control that eating clean is all about. THIS IS life at its best.

What could I possibly be missing out on?

Hey, Dani. You bet. I'm trusting my stuff.

The pancakes were as yummy as I'd hoped they'd be. The next time I may add one more egg white to improve the texture. But when I finished them (the recipe makes three, about the size of an orange), I was very full. I had them with 1 oz of blackberries on top and 1 Tbs of s/f maple syrup, 1 tsp of nat PB (for balance) and coffee. Very filling, very nutritious, and definitely a new keeper to my mainstay meals.

Wellllll, obviously I'm a little biased, but THIS MAN knows what he's talking about. And the evidence speaks for itself with my own results.

Carb rotations are EXTREMELY effective at getting lean, if one is willing to make the sacrifices of time and effort that go along with this WOE.

Very busy morning. Wanted to post quickly before heading back to court to say that I've had a great week nutrition wise. Today is a low day, and my hunger is once again so subdued and I feel so incredibly balanced. This is so encouraging. I've gotten used to switching back and forth between the rotations seamlessly, and I'm loving this whole process. It's intriguing and motivating.

Will post later tonight when I have time to put it together.

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY. How I love this day of the week. It feels like summer outside right now, and my back porch is calling my name.

I've had dinner, and I'm trying to convince my tummy that it's full and it doesn't want/need anything else, but it's putting up a good fight. What I'm feeling now feels more like a craving than hunger. Hmmm

I've had a glass of wine, and I wonder if that's the culprit.

Or is it because I overdosed on protein after work in an effort to quash the hungries? Nah.

So I'm gonna have some coffee and a Tbs of nat PB for "dessert" and see if that does the trick.

Very busy day at work, and will have to work some this weekend on some stuff for next week. Next week's schedule is loaded. So I need this day to chill and unwind. Today is gonna be my official "rest" day of the week. I've done Super Callanetics this morning, and a few pushups on my lunch hour, and that will do it for today.

Time to chill, relax, listen to some tunes...Toni Braxton, Chris Botti, Marc Antoine...while I unplug on my back porch.

Tomorrow is my high day...looking forward to it.
