Jens Rambling's.....

Well, Here I go starting a jounal. The main reason for this is to keep myself accountable and to have a place to go instead, in those times that I wanna put a sweet roll between my lips.

I started LC ( Atkins) originally in March of 2001. I was unbelievably successful and lost 60 pounds in about 5 months. Went from 255 lbs to 199 lbs, and from a size 26-28 to a 16-18. I even put myself through the police academy. I was completely cheat free from the beginning.

Well, I started eating carbs again, and thinking that I was able to eat anyway I wanted and not have to worry about gaining weight. I don't know, maybe I was in some sort of brain fog. The weight didn't creep back on, it flew back on! I gained everything back, plus 20 lbs more. I've lost the extra 20 pounds, but I need to get busy and get real with myself so I can loose the rest.

My goal is to wear cute clothes again, feel pretty, and maybe get a date or two!! hahaha

Today I woke up and decided it was time. I started without even really being prepared with the right kind of groceries. But , I dug a can of tuna out of the cupboard and ate that with some baby dills for breakfast, and for lunch I stopped at the store on my way to work and got some LC stuff. Tonight I will go grocery shopping and fill my house with GOOD stuff.
I WILL BE SUCCESSFUL AT THIS, AGAIN! I've allready proved I have what it takes.

Today weight 256

My first mini-goal..... 10 pound loss I will get a manicure/pedicure/facial.
