WOE: "Fat Flush"-Phase 1
Start Date: May 18, 2006
Steph's Fat Flushing Journal

Today I decided that I would start this journal as a reflection for myself and for any curious peekers who may be interested in Fat Flushing. The plan suggests journaling as a crucial component of one's success, and really I do want to be successful so here I am. Here is a reflection of the past 3 days on Phase 1.

Day 1 (4/19/06):
AM:
-LLC
-Hot lemon water w/1 pk stevia plus

Breakfast:
-spinach, 2 eggs, dill
-cranwater

AM Snack:
-small orange, cranwater

Lunch:
-large salad with 1 can drained tuna, drizzled with flax oil
-cranwater

PM Snack:
-1 cup mixed berries
-cranwater

Dinner:
-stirfry (beef, red/green peppers, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, onion, garlic, ginger)
-cranwater

PM:
-LLC

Notes: Had a severe headache most of the day that didnt go away til bed. Likely from the withdraw of caffeine, nicotine, and sugar. Went for a short walk with Josh and Chris...a big hill, really felt it but kept going.

Day 2 (4/20/06):
AM:
-LLC
-Hot lemon water w/1 pk stevia plus

Breakfast:
-2 hard boiled eggs (sprinkled with dill and cinnamon)
-cranwater

AM Snack:
-poached pear with cinnamon
-cranwater

Lunch:
-left over stir-fry
-misc raw veggies
-cranwater

PM Snack:
-1 cup mixed berries
-cranwater

Dinner:
-large stuffed pepper (natural ground beef, green pepper, onion)
-cranwater

PM:
-LLC

Notes: Still had a headache today (developed later in afternoon). No actual exercise but spent alot of time cleaning around house. Feeling ok, but still having strong cravings, especially for milk products (cereal, ice cream etc)

Day 3 (4/21/06):

AM:
-LLC
-Hot lemon water w/1 pk stevia plus

Breakfast:
-2 egg omelet w/ red pepper, parsley, onion, dill
-cranwater

Lunch:
-warm spinach salad w/ sauteed mushroom, garlic, shrimp and warm poached pear w/cinnamon and drizzled with flax oil
-cranwater

PM Snack:
-1 cup mixed berries
-cranwater

Dinner:
-large salad with mixed veggies and 2oz salmon drizzled with flax oil
-cranwater

PM:
-LLC

Notes: No headache today!!! Cravings continuing, very strong today... fought through them though. Even was able to make pancakes for Josh without having any...sooo hard!

Notes to self:
Another reason to shed weight...makes shaving easier! Today I MUST make the effort and work on school work, my deadlines are approaching fast and I really dont know how I will finish...I just havent cared about it at all lately . I guess I have been so focused on me and this plan, but ya know...I deserve it! I am never selfish and have always put everyone last, thats a big reason why I am this weight now. I wish it would warm up so the pool water isnt so cold, I hate exercising and swimming is the only way I can see myself doing any exercise at all.

FOOD NOTES- Feel like I overdid it on the protein today...wayyy to many meatballs but I was feeling a bit deprived and craving badly, eating the extra protein did help, but I think it put me way over my calorie allowance.

DAILY ACHIEVEMENT-I did manage to go the grocery store during my bad cravings and NOT give in, I am super proud of that, that took mega willpower. So to reward myself I got supplies to color my hair

SETBACKS- Smoked 2 cigarettes today, the first in 4 days. Didn't get any exercise in It rained off and on all day and its still too cold in the pool.

Thanks for stopping in!

I was a little iffy when I first looked at what was required in the Fat Flush, but as I read the book I realized so much about my body. Everything it talked about I related to, and I knew that if I wanted to feel better, I had to first start with healing my body, cleansing it of all the gunk I have put it through in the last 27 years. For me, it hasnt been all that bad but it can be difficult...as with any plan I suppose. If you ever decide to try it let me know, always looking for Flushing buddies!

Let's just call today a do-over day

I did great all except for about 20 minutes, then a had a lapse of control And now I feel sick I need to remember this for this next time I think of giving in.

Correction, I did get sick. Within a few minutes a felt so bloated that stuff that I binged on came right back up I will definitely never do that again!

I did my LLC tonight, trying to just move past it.
