April2006's Journal
I made my new years resolution and I'm going to stick to it. I want to lose 60 lbs total but I'm setting small goals of 10 lbs each.
I was always thin as a child and teen. I even maintained 115-120 through my 1st pregnancy. When I was pregnant w/ my dd child #2 I was told I had gestational diabetes and I gained about 80 lbs and had a very hard time losing it. When my dd was 4years old I found a doctor that gave me phenteramine and didrex, I had gotten up to 220 size 20 and was miserable so I started on the pills along w/ a diet plan. I lost 62lbs in less than 3 months, and kept it off for about 3 years untill I met my husband and got pregnant w/ my 3rd child, I only gained 30 lbs w/ the pregnancy but after he was born I could not lose it and he will be 4 next month. I have done lowcarb dieting before and lost but went right back to my old eating and "non" exersizing habits and I have now gotten up to 193 as of January 1, 2006. I am as of today 189.4 I have a menu for the last week but dont have it w/ me right now...lol My husband and I went to Sears and purchased the Weider Home Gym and it took TEN hours to put that baby together....LOL We have a treadmill , a stationary bike and weight bench, I have several workout DVD's.........So I have been doing a 30 minute cardio and 20 minutes on the home gym each day for 5 days now and am already. I feel confident that I can achieve my goals I just need a swift kick in the butt when I feel like quitting. ...I cant quit , I want this too damn bad, I CAN DO THIS!!!! ![]() |
