I got my wedding pictures back...

Well, I got my wedding pictures back... and I cried. And cried. And cried. I can't look that that! But I do. Now I am done crying and I am going to do something about it. In the past, I was pretty successful on Atkin's, however I did it for the wrong reasons.. for someone else, not for me. My motivators now are much more important: first, I want to feel good and be proud of how I look, second: I want to have a baby and will not try and concieve until I can go into a pregnancy healthy.
Last night, I bought the People magazine with all the weight loss sucess stories in it and was totally amazed. And then I read the stories of one of the girls on the cover.. and she weighed one pound more than I do right now at the start of her weight loss. It made me sick.
I am only two days into being serious about this, but have walked both days and have not cheated. If anyone is looking for a penpal, let me know. It helps me to be accountable.

Chin up octbride, you'll soon be looking at pictures of your new self and be enjoying a beautiful baby. Just keep a positive outlook and refer to your wedding pictures as your "before" pics.

octbride, I was an Oct bride also. I feel your pain with the pictures. I feel the same about mine. Wish I was thinner in them. But dont stress over it. You came to a great place for support. I plan on getting to my goal and re-affirming our vows

and I'm sure I will like my 2nd "wedding pics" more then
