Groovycadreamr (Cindy) New Year- New You!! 2006

Happy New Years!!!

I've been considering doing a journal now for a few weeks. I guess it took a while to decide on taking this huge step because it is a committment. When you've made several attempts to lose weight there is always that doubt in your mind that it really won't work out but i guess that is why i need the accountability and all of you.

Today, I am officially back on "Lean for Life" way of eating. It is my 1st of protein days and so far everything is going great. I did 40 minutes of exercise and manange to drink some water (which i am not in the habit of drinking) eating on plan. The test will be Wed when i go back to work.

check list for the day
Exercise- X
Weighed- X
Measured- X
Water- X
Eat on plan- X

Off to a great start. I would really like to take some pictures maybe once a
week.

some crunches.

Take a shower and day 1 is over. YIPPIE!!!

Woke up to a 1 1/2 lbs off the scale and a hugh headache. Getting back into the groove of things is really hard. After cleaning up a bit last night, I did not get back to do any exercise. Even though I didn't get to sleep til after 2 am. Since its after noon already 1/2 second day gone. Its back to work tomorrow, I've got to prepare for lunch/snacks or else they will kill me over there. As soon as this head stops hurting, I am going to get in a walking tape.

Today is a good day so far. Yesterday was a good day (after the headache went away) When i woke up and weighed- down another 1 1/2 lbs We went out and bought a new tv with a combo vcr/dvd player in order to workout on some of those old vhs exerecise tapes i have.

I also had dh take a few before pictures in a bra/shorts. I know, i really did not want that image caught in a photo but if i am serious about losing weight i think taking a picture like this once a month will help in the long run.

Even though i see the scale moving, I wil not change my stats until my offical weigh in on sundays.

Well, i have to go do a few chores and get some exercise in......i'll be back.

Thank you Cindy for the encouraging words.

This afternoon i did 30 minutes of a walk cd. I hope to get another round in before getting to bed. My eating was good and i have enough left over for lunch tomorrow.

The kids are already asking for pizza, i told them to hold on til friday. Maybe I'll have time to prepare a l/c pizza or maybe go for chicken wings with a salad.

Thanks T!!!

Last night i did another 20 min walk. Then this morning i did a 30 min exercise video along with a few minutes of weights to get these arms muscles moving. I hate my flappy chicken wings. This morning down another 1lb. This makes 7 in 5 days. I have a feeling its still water weight but as long as the scale is not going up. I'M HAPPY!!!

I promised pizza on friday. So, pizza in the house but i am having a
chicken club salad

See ya later.

Hi everyone~~~

Did good yesterday. weighed in no loss today but down 3 % body fat!!!!
I hope to get in some walking later.

Thanks for stopping by CindyGEyes....your doing excellent yourself.

Got up this morning had to work half a day. Getting to work in the fog was mad. I ended up in a ditch in the middle of the road cause there are putting in a center divider. One jn, I was able to drive up and out of it, I heard the bumper hit and scrap. I thought "oh crap i scraped up the bumper". When i got into work, got out to check it and i total cracked the bumper where it is now hanging down. The check engine light is also on. (Boy, was my dh hot when i told him). Will be calling the dealership on Monday. He has the right to be. We bought the van last October, in the beginning of Nov someone rearended my and it was in the shop for 3 week. So, We've only had it
back for 5 weeks now this. GEEZ!!

Talk to you all later!

Are you all ready for this, my first official weigh in (i know its been one whole week low carbing) OK on with it, drum roll please..............

DOWN 7.5 LBS AND 3 % BODY FAT

Yesterday i did 45 minutes of walking. Gettng ready to do 3 miles of WATP.

Not bad at all for a plan that lets you have bread and fruit.

The one thing i need to work on is the water. I went out and bought some True Lemon (no carb real lemon oil/juice crystalized packets to add to it.

Ok, I'm back.

I did 45 min 3 mile WATP tape. I tried the true lemon. It was a bit strong so i added about 1 tsp of splenda turned out like a very mild lemonade tasting. Flavored water perhaps.

(((Going to look around the other boards...to see what everyone else is up to))

See ya.

Thanks Tiggy!!!

It's late. Did not do the exercise this morning, just kind of dragged on today.
Went to work, therapy then came home (and get this) fell asleep for about an hour or so..... got up made something quick to eat the did a 40 min walk.

I hate getting on the scale but i am so drawn to it. I can almost hear it
calling me and saying "Come on, take a peek, Don't you want to see if you lost weight?" I feel like saying, "NO, Shut up and leave me alone!" but then a few minutes there i am standing there, trying not to breath (I know terrifying) weighing myself again.

By the way, down 1/2 lb.

Did not exercise on Tuesday. I was just to tired to move.
Today I did 2 mile walk and weighed the same. Weight hasn't moved in a few
days hoping getting in more water will help.

Check back later.

Just checking in-

Have you see the results for the people taking CLA/GLA? They are amazing. I did run out today and bought both items along with Centrum Carb Assist multivitamin/multimineral. I am not sure this will work for me (what works for one doesn't work for everyone) but it's worth a try. I am going to continue my exercise they are just for a little extra fat buring.

Well, I haven't exercised much aside from walking. Last night i went to therapy and they had me doing exercises for at least 20 minutes on those big inflatable ball that they use for pilates. Here i am over 200 lbs rolling around on a ball in front of everyone. I did it and sweated something fierce. Right after that my right shoulder was hurting really bad. My dh massaged it for awhile and when i woke up i was alright i'll be sure exercise tonight.

The good thing was that i was a 1/2 lb lighter this morning
