Well there's I look good and then there's I look good naked. The first one is coming along, the second needs some work I think another 5, maybe 10 at the most lb loss & I'll be happy with both. I bought some new exercise DVD's targeted at the abs region so I don't get too bored & to try to work some different muscles. Now if I could just get them out of their plastic wrap.....

Back to 133.8 today

Up to 134.4 today due to some not so great food choices yesterday. Kind of in a bummy mood today even though I've only been up an hour or so. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day

Some of my little splurges in the past days seem to have caught up to me. I'm up to 134.8 today. But I did have some pork rinds yesterday (bloat) plus I didn't eat dinner until around 9:30 at night. I was actually better with food yesterday that I have been in days & see a gain. It's just motivation to keep eating good so I can get to goal soon, I guess.

I've been walking both to & from work again. Plus I took a fairly long (45+ min) walk last night. I love the nicer weather

Still under 135. That's awesome! I hope you get to that 'I like the way I look nekkid' place soon. All that walking can't hurt.

Does your trip seem like a million years ago already? Planning another?

135.8 which isn't too bad considering how I ate for a couple of days last week! It's my goal to get back down below 135 again by Thursday at the latest. I'm supposed to go out for a big bash that night for a girl at work who is getting married & my boss who is leaving - his last day is Friday. They're thinking of going out for food & drinks & then maybe a club. Clubwear = shows off more of the bod = not good when I'm feeling like my stomach is bloated looking. So going to try going back to just water & maybe some tea for the next few days. That always seems to help the tummy bloat.

135.2 this morning. I think if I eat good today, I can get back down below 135 again by tomorrow. I'm going to try to drink LOTS of water today. My stomach has been looking bloated & water always seems to help with that.

I'm doing......ok. I just couldn't get into the swing of low carb last week. Had some pizza which gave me the worst heartburn. I feel so much better when I eat low carb. It's just a matter of being in the right frame of mind & I haven't been there. BUT....I'm still not too bad @ 136. It's kind of good to know that I can eat off plan & still stay in the 130's. I do want to get to goal, though. There's this guy who I chat with online & he's coming to the city mid-June. So I'll probably get to meet him for the first time. That gives me 3 weeks before he's here. At the very least, I need to be eating more on plan so I'm not so bloated. My stomach looks like I'm pregnant from all the carb bloat

Yesterday was on plan. Today is going well so far. Had eggs & 2 turkey sausage links for breakfast. Have an Atkins bar & vanilla yogurt for a snack later. And I'm armed with lots of water.

I hear you about the LC thing. I just feel so much better when I eat LC.

Maybe meeting your guy friend in 3 weeks will get you motivated.
I'm having trouble keeping my mojo too. I have a week of good eating obliterated by 2 days of craziness.

The PMS monster came & dragged me away. Grrrrrr. 137 today. I was pretty good yesterday & have been good today. I figure if I can get through the weekend maybe I'll get on a little roll. Of course then my best friend comes to visit next weekend. That'll be tough.

I need to exercise. I need to clean. I want to take a walk. It's a gorgeous day out. I should get off the computer & enjoy it.....

136 this morning. It's amazing how much of a difference I see with just 2-3 lbs now. At 134 I was feeling that my stomach was looking not so pudgy. At 136, I feel bigger. Of course part of it is probably carb bloat. I want to get back below 135 by Friday, when my best friend comes to visit for the weekend. Then I'll have a week after she leaves to really step it up before the guy I'm supposed to meet makes it in. Time to buckle down.

I think it's natural to notice more of a difference because you are small. The closer to goal you are the more you notice. I've also heard that it takes a bit longer to shed those last few lbs.

A week of concentrated effort sounds like an awesome goal! Hope the guy is awesome too!

I just cannot seem to get fully on track. I'll make it through part of the day & then cave with something. The weight isn't TERRIBLE (137.something), but it isn't where I want to be. Work is stressing me out a lot. Just felt like venting a little

Ugh. I have slipped so badly. I got back up to just about 140. I don't want to be in the 140's again. I worked SO hard to get into the 130's. I'm not going to throw it all away.

I re-started again yesterday. Was down to 139 this morning. Have been good today with eating. I'm feeling really down today, though. Fat. Undesirable. It's just not a good day.

I did meet my online friend from out of town & it was really nice. We spent a couple of evenings together, although he ended up having a work thing one night that we had plans & we didn't see each other until really late, so it was cut kind of short. Now he's gone again. Who knows how much we'll talk now that he's back home & we don't have the trip to talk about anymore. But it was nice to finally meet him.

I'm going to make some baked chicken, creamed spinach & mashed cauliflower for dinner to try to lift my mood. I hate being in a blah bummy mood.....

138.2 that last two mornings. I've been good with food choices, but ate a lot yesterday. I was hungry! Today I'm going to try cutting it down a little to see if that gets the scale moving faster. It shouldn't be a terrible day at work, so if ever a day there was to eat less, a low stress one should be it.

How is it possible to be the EXACT same weight three days in a row?? I've been eating fine. Went for a long walk last night, so I got in more than 4 miles yesterday between that & walking to/from work. I guess the snacks did me in. Today I'm trying to cut back on them. I'm feeling better & more in control even if the weight isn't coming off fast. I'll keep on plugging along....

As much as I hate to come slinking back into my own journal, here I am. It's been a busy couple of months since I last posted. I quit my job & took a great new one. I found out my apartment building is going condo & I have to move. Found a wonderful new apartment, even if it is smaller & more expensive than where I am right now. I'll be moving at the end of Sept.

After I quit my old job I went back to WI for a long weekend to visit with my dad. It started the beginning of my slide back into the 140's. There were a bunch of things that I wanted to eat that I haven't had in years. When I came back, I started my new job. One of the perks is that we get lunch on the company every day. We get to pick from two local restaurant menus & lunch is delivered to us. We get one item each as an entree, a side, a drink & dessert. Of course, it being free, I ordered dessert every day. Then after a few weeks I found out the brownies I'd been eating were each close to 600 calories

I kept seeing the scale around 142, 143 & thought to myself every day - all I have to do is go back on induction for a few days & I'll be back in the 130's. I can do it ANY time. But I didn't. And I got up to 147 before it hit me that I was almost back in the 150's after saying I would never leave the 130's again. All my work clothes are too tight. I'm just lucky I can wear jeans & casual pant occassionally or I'd be shopping for new, bigger work pieces.

Today I'm down to 144 & hoping for lower tomorrow. The work week is my downfall. I need to make better choices off what's available. And if I can't do it, I just need to suck it up & bring my own food for a while.

It's embarrassing to write all this, but I'm not happy with the way I look & feel right now. My clothes don't fit. My stomach is so big it looks like I'm about 4 months pregnant. I want to go out & meet some new guys to forget about some losers earlier this year, but don't feel like anyone would find me attractive right now when I'm not comfortable in my own skin.

So here I am. Making another go of it. I know how to do it. I know what works. I just need to stick with it.

My food choices have been so-so the past few days. Monday was my day at the US Open. I tried to be good & made it until about 4, but then hunger got the best of me. Work has been kicking my butt this week, too. So I'm going to be good this weekend & then weigh on Monday. I don't want to get down by seeing a bad number.

Whew. Time to get some rest!
