I had a wooooooooosh! 196 this morning!!! AND another hole in my belt!:::jumping up and down::::dancing around the office:::: That's 29 lbs! I cant wait to post my 30lb club .jpg!! TOM was this week too, so glad that is over.

Yesterdays exercise:
60 minutes DW aerobics

Todays exercise:
I havent done any exercise on a Friday, ever! Dont know why, but according to my log book... Fridays are blank!

I'm kinda dreading the weekend... It means I'll be home, again, where the refrigerator lives I will keep my focus on getting to the 30lb club and drink my water (which I didnt do over xmas vacation) and eat only what is on my menu. I will NOT open the pantry cupboard dammit! We have the girls this weekend.. I am slowly adapting them to my WOE and not buying anything "extra" for them to eat (ie...sugary crap!). They are really good kids, so I feel lucky.

I'm still catching up on work and reading all the wonderful posts on here.

Euphoric evening last night....

After I gained back (and then some) the pounds last year I had to bring back the boxes of "big girls clothes". Of course I kept all the L sizes in my closet as an incentive. Now have XL's and a 1x or two, loose sweaters, you know the picture. It was quite depressing... It took me until Oct 05 to finally say... NO MORE! I NEED TO GET BACK INTO THE SMALLER SIZES THAT I BOUGHT IN '04!!

Everyone knows how their clothes fit. I have alot that I've been bypassing as I pick out something to wear as they just got too tight, or not long enough past the waste, show the rolls...ect... you get what I'm saying here.

I've been dreading trying them back on as most of them looked better at 180# or less.. but I really wanted to know where things fit right now. It's been 29# since I tried on anything. I was tired of wearing the same ol' "big clothes" and found myself buying MORE at the store. Hell, I really dont "need" any more clothes, I have plenty that fit at any size! I just forgot which ones those are. And I do NEED more room in my closet.

so...... I took to cleaning the closet out.....again!

In 3 hours I tried on EVERYTHING I OWNED! (I know, woohoo, fun girl on a Friday night ) I had a blast!

and WOW....

The more I tried on, the more thrilled I was! It was almost unbelievable! What a euphoric feeling realizing the "small" clothes were actually fitting! It was as good as, if not better than, SEX! I was almost in tears. Several times I just sat down on the bed and went...wow. Out with the big, in with the smaller!!!!! I packed 2 huge boxes of "big girl" clothes and I will NEVER bring them out again! I can finally get back into alot my cool stuff.

But the interesting this is.....

In the middle of all this, I was like...wait, I didnt wear this until I got down to 180.. I better go check my measurements! Come to find out.. I'm only an inch bigger (all around) then I was when I measured at 180# and I'm 196 now. I think alot of it has to do with all the aerobic exercise and building up of my muscles. I have alot of work to do on my arms and back fat still. I know my shape is different then before and that's a cool thing! My bust is actually bigger than my waste now, and my waste is actually smaller than my hips (not by much)!!! OMG, I have a girly figure!!!!!!

Bad thing for DBF, good for me.....

I think I lost a cup size. That's right, I'm just a D now. LOL!!

So there ya have it. I'm back to wearing L shirts, slim 36 men's jeans, can even button and zip 33's but with a huge roll of fat hanging over , comfortable womans 14 & 16's jeans... Yippee!! I still cant fit into my new leather vest (another 15# and it will look good) :blush: but I got the snaps snapped! I still have plenty of smaller clothes just waiting for me to try on and wear...someday!! I organized everything by size so I know when it fits, down with a size!

I've been doing alot of thinking about where I am now compared to where I was in the '04 weight loss. I use the same log book now as I did then and yesterday I was at the same amount of weight loss.

2004
Feb 2 - May 8
207 to 178 = 29# lost in 3 months, 97 days
(this is where it ended for that time around)

2005
Oct 3 - Jan 6
225 to 196 = 29# lost in 3 months, 97 days
(starting again, and for the last time - 51 to go!)

OMG.... how weird is this?!! hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm not doing the exact same things either. I know in '04 i went to at least 3 potlucks/parties, drank more, ate out more, home exercise only, but I did stick with the lc plan, just had a few more higher carb days

Guess this means I get to open the bottle of 1800

No matter what you do, as long as u stick with it, it will work!


Today:

Love the early am saturday dw aerobics class, the energy in the morning is great. Stopped and got a sf van breve at Coffee Rush and back home for chores before the girls came over. I'm sticking to a lower carb weekend as I try and get back in routine, well, except for the coffee , not too bad, only ~20 carbs, I'll adjust the rest during the day

I hope to get to the 30# club monday or so I been feeling lots of jiggl'n and hope it goes poof* soon. Wonder if anyone else massages their stomach rolls hoping to loosen some of that fat helping it fall off ?!?!

My energy level is a little off. Alot of that has to do with getting back working out. My shoulders and neck are causing me grief. I need a good crackerpracter! It's been hard exercising my left arm so I havent done much with the arms in the past couple weeks Vacation got me off of taking my meds and vitimans at the same time each day.

No exercise yesterday, was hoping to get to class tonite but forgot I have a dinner date with some good friends.

I wish the weather would clear up, it seems like its been raining for over a month. Well at least it's been raining since I got my new faux fur coat, yep, about a month! Havent been able to wear it yet I got such a great deal on it... $17 for a $90 coat! I wanted to wear it alot this year because next winter I'm hoping it will be too small!!!

I ate in the plan this weekend! Good for me!! I almost broke down and had some margarta's but I stuck with it, knowing I really want to see the 30# club and one little slip can put that several more days in the future. So, I've been good. That's pretty hard to do for a "bad" girl hehe

I got all confident yesterday and wanted to take pictures of myself using the timer on my camera. I was really looking forward to some progress picts. I was out in the garage setting up for a biker chic pict, then got clutzy and dropped the camera on the concrete floor with the lense open!! I am such a dork! It broke! (luckily it wasnt my face that broke the camera! ) I hope it can be fixed..

Todays goals:
Lots of water
Green Tea
Low Carb
Wall Push ups (been slacking on these)

Day 100, 30# gone!! YAY ME!!


I'm past my '04 weight loss and I'm not stopping here! 40% of goal accomplished, 45# to go! I'm losing ~.3# per day. It's going to be a good year!!

I didnt get to aerobics last night, but I did celebrate 2 good friends birthdays. For dinner I had about 3/4 cup of homemade fetticini pesto (my first time having pasta in 3 months as it's my biggest downfall as it triggers cravings like crazy!) and a tblspn of chocolate decadent frosting.. (another downfall, I used to buy the ready made frosting in the cans and keep them in my frig for snacking by the spoonfull.... USED TOO that is!) I had to get out of there fast and brush my teeth to get the taste out of my mouth!

Today:
Breakfst, eggs
Lunch, lc yogurt, carrots, 2 strawberries
Snack, apple
Dinner, chicken and veggies
Tonite, 60 mins of dw aerobics

Need to drink more water!

Have a really groovy day!

*Thanks Jacq! It always seems like a long road but the destination is worth it!

Got in 60 min of aerobics last night. I will go again tonite and tommorrow. Am trying to get in at least 4 times a week. I missed out on Monday, so I may break my pattern and go on Friday?!?!?! Yeah right

I was so busy last night, I left work late, got home and prepared my stuff for the chapter meeting, raced there, then after the meeting went to DWA. I didnt get a chance to eat dinner!! I finally got to eat something when I got home from my workout...at 10pm! I hate eating that late, so I stuck with yogurt, fresh brocc and carrots and ranch dip, green tea. It was yummy!

My morning routine is getting up between 6:15-6:30am, go pee, then go downstairs, feed the cat and pack lunches for me and DBF, go back upstairs to take a shower, get ready for work. I weigh myself EVERY morning right after I pee... BUT I FOUND OUT>>>>> I weigh 1 lb. LESS if I make lunches before I weigh! Is it because I lose a pound running up and down the stairs?? I dont know?!! example: yesterday, 196 after I pee, 195 after I came back up 10 minutes later!!! today, 195 before going downstairs, 194 after I came back up! weird This happens about 70% of the time! Is it the barometric pressure? I'll take the lower number anytime

Another learning experience:
20 oz Sugar Free Vanilla Breve Latte are NOT 250 calories, but 750 calories!! Made with nonfat milk (yuck) is 250 calories. Breve/halfnhalf = ~25 carbs, nonfat = ~30 carbs. Let's see... carbs vs. calories... hmmmmm.... I'll take lower carbs anyday!! I was calc'ing them at 250 calories.... YIKES!! I've had several the last couple weeks since I discovered Coffee Rush near my house! Oopsy Daisy Yeah yeah, stay away from there........ <gulp>

Ok, that's about it.

I dont know why, but I'm hungry today. I'm not eating any less or different than normal. Maybe from the full moon this weekend? TOM was last week but I'm craving something! I took all my vitamins too....hmmm.

60 mins aerobics last night and again tonite. Last night made me tired. Tonite is my favorite teacher, so I really want to go.

Brkfst:
3 eggs

Lunch:
Garlic Monterey Jack chicken
lc yogurt
green tea
redbull (not bullocks hehe)

Snack:
fuji apple
green tea

Dinner:
prolly chicken
salad w/ honey mustard dressing
broccoli
green tea

That's about norm for me to eat during the week. I love it! Tummy gets the full feeling fast (yes, finally!)

Yesterday 60 min aerobics, shoulder hurt so I couldnt keep up with all the arm workouts. It's still hurting too.

I figured out why I'm having cravings... because I've been drinking sf van lattes! No more of those for a while, I'm uncontrollable and I know they werent doing me any good except making me taste buds happy

Not much today, but glad it's Friday!! Have a club party and dance tommorrow night, tonite DBF wants to go celebrate his great job review and raise! We'll prolly head downtown somewhere and do something fun.

I didnt have any eggs this morning so I settled for my other favorite breakfast.. Kashi cereal and lc yogurt! A little too many carbs for me right now, but I will adjust throughout the day.
Lunch, I need to go to the store, salad sounds good and some turkey
Dinner, out on the town with DBF, I've been good at my choices

I've been really slacking on my wall pushups.. Need to do more!

The weekend has come and gone. I went to our yearly 'biker' party at the fancy hole. It was a blast! Only 3 glasses of wine (no tequila) and 3 hours of dancing.
Glad for all the aerobics classes as I didnt even need to take a break...and man-o-man I love to dance! It was fun watching all the others try and keep up, see... working out really pays off For dinner I stuck with salmon and salad at the buffet and a small bite of DBF's cheesecake. I did good

We even managed to have a break in the rain yesterday, 1st time in over a month. Had to take advantage of that and put ~120 miles on the bikes. That was therapy LONG overdue.
Today, 195...holding steady. I cant wait for the fat cells to decide leave again and watch that scale go down...when, I dont know LOL :::skipping along::::do-de-do-de-do-de-do:::::

How come it seems larger people lose faster? It's a little dissapointing seeing bigger losses in the same amount of time as me. I know we are all different... but whyyyyy can't I lose steadily each week? It's more like 4lbs this week, none for a couple weeks, then 2 lbs down... none again for a couple more weeks... then nothing again for 2 weeks... blah blah. I should just be happy for any kind of loss. I still get my inspiration here, and am so happy to hear others are doing remarkably well. I'm sticking with it dammit!
