~~~Lisa's Journal~~~
I've been wanting to do this for some time. So here I go.
Lisa...you will stop the b/p cycle...you will take care of your body, you're in perimenopause now...you will eat clean 95% of the time...you will exercise 5 days/week minimum...
Remember how sick and tired you are of being fat and out-of-shape!!! You need to change...for yourself and as an example to your dd!! NO EXCUSES!!!
Goals for 30 days:
1. eat clean
2. drink water and green tea
3. exercise cardio and sculpt 5x/week plus walking
4. no b/p
5. take vitamins
Day 1:
B: 3 sausage and 2 eggs
L: 3 tuna muffins
S: 3 tuna muffins (ok shouldn't have eaten 3, not really hungry)
D: chicken and salad
drank lots of water and green tea
took vitamins
exercise: tae bo and firm vol. 1
Post weight and inches lost every week!!!
b/p free for 1 day!
I can achieve ANYTHING I set my mind to! I BELIEVE I can do this!
Thanks gettinthere! I will do it! Great stats btw!!
So it's friday AM, I cooked bacon and burnt it! so i ate 2 hot dogs, not a great choice, but i love em! lunch will be hamburger and supper will be at mom's. Going to be out of town this weekend..at mom's..generally difficult cause we eat out and she keeps my favorite crap in the house. However, I am determined not to eat it! I will eat clean! I will be smaller after this weekend! I will post everything I eat when I get back...EVERYTHING
Today's exercise is walk your way slim and some firm.
I will drink more water. I will stay in positive mode. I will remember my goals. I will look good in the ****ty lingerie I just bought and thrill my dh!
lisa
I'm back! The weekend was tough! My jeep broke down on friday on my way to mom's. luckily it was easily fixed for $65 (broke serpantine belt) I REALLY wanted to binge, but I didn't! Yeah me! THen at mom's they ate every kind of yummy, carby thing you can think of! I didn't cave and this AM was rewarded w/ a 3 lb whoosh! Yippee!
I said I'd post what I ate so here it is:
turkey
cukes
bacon
sausage
salad
peanuts
chicken-lots
broccoli w/ cheese
So that's not so bad!
Today:
B: burger
L: burger
S: chicken and salad
exercise: taebo and firm
smartblend, gte, biotin
water water water!
gotta run!
i will stay motivated! i will be at an 10 year low in a few more #s! I will do it!
Congrats on the loss so far! That's awesome....and what a way to spend it, showing off the lingerie. Wo hoo!
One way I learned to make bacon is in the oven. Line a cookie sheet (with edges) with foil, lay out the 1 pound of bacon, bake it at 375 degrees for about 20mins...or less, just watch it until you see the texture you like. Easy clean up, no popping out of the pan, and can cook ALL of the bacon at the same time.
Best wishes on your journey!
been making my bacon that way for YEARS! - it's awesome. to store simply lay the bacon on wax paper and layer it -- keeps the bacon crisp and ready for a re-heat in the microwave if you need to.
Lisa
- keep up the great work, you're awesome!
Thank ya'll for the support! I really appreciate it! I'm gonna try that in the AM!
I gotta update what I've eaten today...
in addition to my menu above I've had 2 hotdogs and bologna. I love bologna! It's just pitiful!
Gonna pick tomatoes to make sauce and get my walk in. Supper's gonna be spinach salad and grilled chicken. Yum!
Confession: I only got in a walk yesterday! And I ate a LC ice cream, but I didn't b/p!
Today:
B: 2 hb eggs and 3 bacon (made in the oven! thanks ladies!)
L: leftover chicken
S: salad and meat
S: hb egg/cheese/bologna
water water water
smartblend, gte, biotin
I've already done taebo and feel good about it even though I didn't wanna do it. Will do firm and walk this PM.
I'm gonna stay in control today and keep my goals in mind before I mindlessly put food in my mouth!
great job! keep up the good work. I've never tried the yo-cheese, not sure if I can get past the "cheese made in my fridge" part. LOL
I'm working on day 2 of a meat fast after eating too many carbs on Sunday. I feel great and lots of energy. but I have to eat more often than I'm used to...weird.
thanks for posting and letting us know how it's going!
