no. but like other supplements, you have to realize, if it acts like insulin in your body, it is going to have just as many potentially dangerous side effects as pharmaceuticals that do that... and there has been just about zero testing of it used in the quantity you would need. please be careful!

if you need to stabilize blood sugars more than you are able to eating low carb, consider metformin first and insulin second. Metformin is one of the few drugs that I think is really good for people. it has been used heavily for more than 20 years worldwide, so plenty of time for bad stuff to come out if it was going to.

and insulin is the only other thing that's safe and positive, in my opinion. the other oral meds are all problematic. good luck!

Thanks, Ravenrose. Trying to go the easy, "pop a pill" route to lower blood sugars. Right now I'm in the pre-diabetes stage based on A1c, and have cut out a lot of carbs. I was just hoping for an extra crutch to lean on. Dr. Oz did a segment on Fenugreek yesterday to help stabilize blood sugar, but he didn't talk about pills; he talked about using it in food form that you add to your meals. Before seeing that, I had never heard of it.
