Oh no! Vitamins

I was taking my morning vitamins today (like I do every morning) and they are gummies bc I always feel like I'm going to puke when I take all the pills. Well today I thought I wonder if these have carbs bc they are gummies. They DO! All together it is 19 carbs! (I have 4 kinds that I take.)

I am so bummed and feel so dumb bc I have started induction and now I am getting 39 carbs instead of 20.

What do you reccomend for vitamins?

Thanks!

Yikes on the 19 carbs!

Subbing to this thread to hear what others are doing for vitamins also, I feel like I should be taking some and I'm not.

I take a liquid magnesium/calcium supplement that I mix in water ( there is a giant thread about it somewhere) and while I was looking for it I saw some other liquid multi supplements on the big A store. Maybe something like that would work.

weight loss surgery patients need chewable and liquid vitamins for some time out of surgery so although I can swallow pills now, I know all about chewables and liquids

Right now I am using centrum chewable (orange flavor)... it has less than 1 carb. Not as tasty as a gummy, but doable. If you search bariatric advantage, and celebrate brand vitamins, you will find sugar free chewable vitamins designed for WLS people, but if you choose the ones made for lap band or sleeve, you won't get over-dosed on vitamins.

Celebrate tastes the best, I think.

I don't like the powder/liquid ones, none of them taste good to me, and the powder ones you put in water just take way too long for me to drink vs chewing one and being done with it.

I hope some of this helps.

PS even netrition has some chewables that can be hard to find, like chewable pro-biotics, chewable biotin, etc
