That surprised me. No one here has tried or knows someone who has tried it for an extended period?

hadn't heard of it before your post so i googled it.

it's another weight loss supplement.

i read somewhere if one tried all the weight loss supplements together that it would account for only a 150-200 calorie loss per day at about $20/day. NO THANKS. i'll just walk a couple more blocks to lose those extra 200 calories.

I don't usually even consider them but I saw the Dr Oz segment and I wanted to learn a little more. The intriguing part is the potential for helping in fat mobilization. I came here because I knew there would be honest feedback.

When I remember to take them (lol) I've had more energy but I'm a constant staller so I can't speak to the fat loss aspect.
I don't think there's anything "dangerous" about them, so it shouldn't hurt to try.
I do believe I read that you need to take them consistently for 6 weeks to really notice any benefits, but I'm awful about taking any pills daily, so I didn't stick to them that long.
Seriously, I could open my own supplements store with all the 1/2 used bottles I have lol.

Quick look around the Internet again (looked at it a while ago when a friend asked), shows no studies have had signifigant results. Basically useless and possibly harmful in combination (one product recalled after causing hepatoxicity). If you search "slate dr oz" the article there has good info about Garcinia and the Oz Effect.

The whole fruit rind is used dried as a condiment in India and is considered a digestive due to its sour flavor.
