Yes. I take one every morning. They've helped a lot. Found some USP grade tablets online and it is more expensive than loose salt, but the only way I can manage to get enough. It was either that, or try to keep choking down dry boullion cubes.

how do you KNOW you are not getting enough sodium? I find this a bit disturbing. Sodium is very important, but excess is very bad too. Please be SURE you need it before supplementing like this!

Do you need the sodium for a medical condition?
I personally have low blood pressure, and had problems with orthostatic hypotension (basically blood pressure falls if I stand up too rapidly and I will either get temporarily very dizzy or actually faint) I am able to get plenty of sodium between the V8 juice, pickles, soup broth, salad dressings, salting foods. Its usually a pretty serious medical condition that actually needs sodium supplementation (like adrenal failure). |

Just to clarify, I knew I needed more sodium on a regular basis when after I had felt generally crappy for a few weeks and would tend to get dizzy and weak, I ate about a pound of bacon containing something like 3 or 4 grams of sodium and finally felt good. So I experimented with eating boullion cubes because I hate drinking broth, then switched to salt pills because I'd rather get the salt without all of the other stuff. My blood pressure has remained the same and I feel and function better. Low carb can really strip the sodium right out of you. Especially if you are drinking enough water. Some people seem to be more sensitive than others. And some of us just don't like salty food or broth.
