Supplements for lw carb/insulin resistance
I just finished reading living low carb by Fran mccullough, and the 2002 version of atkins new diet revolution. I know both are quite old but the supplements they suggests is fish oil, magnesium, potassium, vitamin e, folate, l-carnitine, coq10, and milk thistle. Is that still fairly accurate? I know a lot of new things have come out in the last decade... I can't take a multi because I'm taking a high dose vitamin d rx and my iron is excessive. I just got diagnosed with insulin resistance so I'm new to the whole low carb diet.

I know that chromium picolinate is essential to me as a diabetic, so I think it would be helpful with insulin resistance too. it's used in the insulin metabolism.
