L-Glutamine
I posted this in the "supplements" section, but haven't gotten any feedback. Looking to place an order soon
I've read/seen a large number of posts here on LCF that reference L-Glut and it's carb craving curbing benefits (hello alliteration!). I bought a bottle, but honestly haven't noticed much difference, if any. What's your go-to brand? How/when do you take it? |

I follow the regimen in the Diet Cure. I take 500mg 4 times a day in pill form. Not sure what the brand is. I also take Chromium and 5-HTP, and I don't have any cravings at all. Not sure which one is working or if it's a combination, but I'll take it!

L-glutamine is an amino acid our bodies make and need. It is actually recommended for cancer patients going through chemo to help counter side effects. The powder form works best/fastest & is much less expensive than capsules. Per The Diet Cure it should be taken between meals so it does not compete with food (protein contains l-glutamine). |

Wow, thanks for sharing that! I guess they will probably stop using it for treatment.
I don't think I will let this keep me from using l-glutamine. After all, it is something out bodies need & make anyway. |

Perhaps 500 or 1000 mg may help some people fight there cravings but it takes 5000 mg
a couple of times a day to help my cravings. |
