^^ Thanks, Miles^^

took two at 8am, forgot to eat breakfast till 8:45
I have Bob's Red Mill "fiber bomb" breakfast (10g fiber)
Could only eat half so the appetite suppressant qualities work for me.

Other ‘stuff’ I take, omega 3 fish oil a multi vitamin and pro-probiotics
What I’m eating today (it’s a ‘carb day’)
The hot fiber cereal
Lunch is white chicken chili, with great northern beans
Snacks are a half of an apple and 1/3 c non-fat cottage cheese (w/ some splenda, coconut flavoring, and a dusting of cocoa powder on top, if you like mounds, this is really good)
Dinner tonight is a lamb bolognese over spaghetti squash (stolen idea from mamasooze, who posted it as one of her meals last week in the weekly menu topics, sounded so good, I had to make it)
It’s raining, so tonight will probably be a ‘gym night’
since dinner's made ahead of time, I'll hit the gym right after work and then come home, heat up dinner and we'll eat then

ETA: dosage of the ketones is two pills twice a day, there are 200mg of ketones in each 2 pill serving, so I'll be taking in 400mg of the raspberry ketones daily

Last edited by ChristineP; 10-02-2012 at 07:40 AM.. Reason: dosage of ketones added

down 2lbs since Tuesday, decreased appetite, but also getting a slightly queasy feeling when I eat (gee, is that how this stuff works?)
I'd think with how much less I'm eating, and the "fat burning capability" that I'd be down more than 2lbs, (maybe I expected too much?)

There are no scientific studies on raspberry ketone that support claims of weight loss in humans. As a registered dietitian(RD) and personal trainer, my advise is to stop wasting your money on weight loss pills and other snake oils... trust me, if a miracle product ever really comes to market, the whole world will hear about it.
Good old fashioned diet and exercise will always be the key to healthy weight loss!
Cheers,

I beg to differ.. if there ever is some miracle in a jar for all of us to lose weight we will never hear about it... with out obesity is no high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.. this country makes ALOT of money on people being sick, taking lots of medications, illness, and death..

I'm not going to argue with anyone... I can only give my own empirical evidence... which tells me that (for me anyway) it's working
I am down two more pounds... It's um, (being delicate here) a certain time of the month that I would normally be up by about that amount, so in a few days, I can't wait to get back on the scale and let y'all know if it's working as well as I think it is

I missed two doses so far of the stuff, (because I forget to bring them in to work to take before lunch)
I'm down to 185 as of this morning

so far, the only thing that I can say for sure about the product that I am taking (possibly b/c of the green tea) is that it does have appetite suppressant qualities, which isn't a bad thing, but I'm not so sure I"m convinced that this is the "fat flush" "miracle pill" that they've been touting
I'm going to stick it out for an entire month, and then compare to how I do another month without and see where the scales head

of course, it's totally a non-scientific study... because what we eat changes from week to week and our activity level changes, (planning on it going up dramatically very soon)

I got them yesterday (quick delivery!) and noticed a strong "ketosis like" feel about 30 minutes after taking one 100mg capsule. Noticed the same thing this morning. Like I feel ever so slightly unwell....semi-nauseous and a bit warm. I also just started LC again. I think the raspberry ketones are speeding up the fat-burning process and that's why I react a bit after taking them!

I weighed 161.5 yesterday morning. I will post my weight again in a few days.

I got the same queasy feeling... it didn't go away... I stopped taking them recently because, well I only saw a bump in the very beginning and then nothing much more, so I decided that that jumpy stomach I had wasn't worth it

I'm not sure if it's working or not because I've been binging on halloween candy. I'm not proud of this at all. My dh bought like $40 worth and only like 6 kids came, so we are left with a ton. I have no self-control.

I need to get back on track...

I've gone through a bottle of the Pond's brand along with doing a loose paleo diet. I'm do between 10 - 15 lbs and I usually never want anything to eat when I take them. I do take 4-6 pills or about 1500.

The proof of the pudding to me is the lack of hunger. I went several weeks before I felt like snacking at all. I usually figured out I needed to eat when I was so empty my stomach rebelled.

Very interesting. I will explore this a little further, and determine dosage I want to try.

Thanks.

I just started Sunday (3 days ago) taking Raspberry Key brand, (500 mg 2x daily). I feel alert and good all day long. Not jittery but different than the norm and I have been sleeping great at night. I normally eat a LCHF diet but drink alcohol (red wine) moderately. Since starting RK I have not had a desire to drink alcohol and I find I can make wiser food choices.

That being said has anyone heard anywhere what the most effective way of eating is with RK? Is it 40% fat or does it not matter as long as it is a "healthy" diet. Most diet supplements that say that seem to mean low fat.

I too am interested in real results from others. If I do not lose weight I still think there might be some health benefits to RK but I probably won't buy again.

Taking 200mg in the morning. Then will see if I add more.

Going to claim 186 lbs for starting weight, and see what happens. Have been staying on plan pretty well for 45 days, so this will be the only change.

Yesterday was a tough day, but scale at 184.5 this morning. Waiting to see if it holds, or continues down. So far, I sure am not going to bad-mouth raspberry ketones

Still not sure about Raspberry Ketones

I have stopped gaining and the scale has slowly decreased but I was really restricting calories (tried the potato diet for couple days). I liked the potato diet I learned about from Free The Animal Richard Nikoley. Although, I lost weight on it with Turkey Day coming up I wanted to go back to my usual low carb high fat WOE so I could enjoy the holiday and weekend.

So, I am still taking the Raspberry Key Ketones twice a day and still feel good when I take them and my appetite seems suppressed/manageable. Usually when I am LCHF I can really eat a lot; I love cheese. My serving sizes and want for food are easily kept in check, so I am assuming it is the RK helping out. I am not craving any kind of restaurant food and am satisfied with healthy LCHF choices at home. The scale has gone up a bit but I expected that going from potato diet to LCHF. Hoping after adjustment period, for me about 3 days I will start burning my own fat again (ketosis)? Fingers crossed.

That being said I am not sure the RK is helping me burn fat/lose weight but they do help (maybe just psychological) with appetite suppression and well-being feeling.

I stopped taking it a while ago, it seemed to stop doing anything after a while. Also I have a warning about Eden Pond brand, I was approached to promote some of their other weight loss products on Amazon that I never even tried, they wanted to me to write false reviews to get a free bottle of ketones.

Hello everyone! I originally started at 212 in 2008 and worked my butt off with different diets and massive amounts of exercise and am now at about 140. I go up and down in weight quite a bit but haven't ever been over 160 since 2008.

I bought the RK a few days ago and started taking them on Saturday morning. I only take 100mg at breakfast and another 100mg between lunch and dinner. I have noticed I'm not as hungry as I used to be. I didn't eat lunch today cuz I'm just not hungry and am guessing I wont eat much for dinner. I'm not on a specific diet plan right now but do watch my carbs.

Has anyone had any good luck with these?

So far I am trying them. I definitely don't see a down side, and my scale has been moving slightly. And I am not trying for fast loss, just steady. I am going to continue them.
