Favorite Supplement?

What supplement do you think does you the most good? For me, it has to be Mag Citrate capsules. I just switched over from oxide/liquid citrate (occasional) and it has totally cured all my 'bathroom issues' and then some. SOOOOOO happy. What supplement helps you the most???.....if you cant actually detect the benefits....or even perceived benefits...thx

Probiotics have had the most discernible effect. I also like cod liver oil but can't be sure it has had any effect. I also really like Coenzyme Q10 (for heart) but again, can't discern any effect.

Fish oil! Those healthy omega 3's are important! Trader joes has a good brand that consumer reports recommends.

Chlorella. It is a green algae full of b vitamins. I can feel the difference in the skin on my face almost immediately when I start taking it again after some time away from it. I've taken it for years and largely attribute people thinking I'm 30 something, not 53 to having used it long term!

I'm also VERY happy with high dose iodine supplements, which I'm using to support my sluggish thyroid.

Vitamin D, in retrospect it's funny I always see better in the summer now I know why.
I have been taking 5000 iu of vitamin D for about 2 years. After taking it a few months
I had my yearly eye exam and had to have weaker glasses for my myopia. Then I had
another exam afout 6 or 8 months later and needed yet a weaker perscription. Then about 8 months ago I had to get yet another weaker perscription. Heck I had to have
glasses to pass the eye test for my driver's licence when I was 16 and now at 61 years
of age I can pass it without glasses. If I skip my vitamin D for a couple of months my vision get's worse again so I know it's the vitamin D not just a change brought about by
geting older.

Now for a little humor. I bought some supliments from a company on the web having
a buy one get one sale. There was an error in packing and I got a couple of bottles of
Magnesium Citrate in error. I told them about this and they sent me the 2 bottles they
had shorted me but they made another error with the shipment and sent me 18 bottles
of Magnesium Citrate also. So now I have 20 bottles of it I didn't pay for. Perhaps this was there way of having a real "blow out sale"
