Natural Calm -- How do you Take It?

I got some Natural Calm, but don't like the taste! Today I tried hiding the taste in a smoothie, but it ruined the taste of the entire drink.

Anyone found a way to make it more palatable?

I just bolt it down as fast as I can. I follow it with a big glass of water. The first few times I took it I had to dance around a little before the glass was done.

I put a teaspoon in a 16 oz. glass of water and drink it straight.

The more magnesium you have in your system, the less bitter it will taste. The first time I had it, I felt like I'd sucked ten lemons at once. Now it barely tastes bitter to me at all.

That is interesting.

It was strong at first and now the taste is mild to me. I take it in a glass of water right before bed.

I wouldn't take it- it has the cheap form of magnesium plus studies have shown that it contains lead.

Take magnesium capsules instead- malate is a good form, highly absorbable, and doesn't have an immediate laxative effect like Natural calm.

This is me too. I thought it was weird that it doesn't make me pucker anymore.

Which kind did you get? I have the raspberry lemon flavor and both DH and I like it. I now end up drinking a cup of tea at night and put the Natural Calm in that. Delightful!!!!

PS I also bought the unflavored kind and didn't notice a yuck taste to it at all. I guess it is all relative as I have had some nasty tasting supplements before! This I can handle.

Interesting, I just got this yesterday and had 1/2 tps in a glass of green tea last night. I expected it to be uber nasty since that's what everyone says. I actually liked it!

Wonder if that means that I don't really need it at all?

I squeeze a wedge of lemon in mine and add a few drops of stevia. Tastes like lemonade!
