yes, and yes. it is a big help for diabetic blood sugar metabolism. I've been taking 600 mcg a day for 15 years.

I have tried it for weight loss. But I guess I had no deficiency in my body or high sugar in my blood, so it made no difference.

Same with me. I took it religiously (years ago) and got no better results on it or off it so I stopped wasting my time! (BTW this was when I worked out ALOT!)

I still take it daily. When I do, my diet is on track. When I skip, eating gets out of control.

i take it with vanadyl sulfate, and really helps with chocolate cravings......the kind that when you walk in a grocery store, all you can smell is the chocolate.......

I take it, 200mg to 400mg per day. It's hard to say whether it made any difference since I started taking a lot of other supplements at the same time. I plan to keep taking it however, in case it is helping, and also to just not be deficient.

I know you said you tried chromium, but there are differences in the different forms. Chromium polynicotinate is the most effective available in capsules. It is 300 times more effective than chromium picolinate.
