It's the first time I ever busted a FF. I'm wondering if the CLA/GLA manipulated the scale. Tomorrow is measure day, so that will tell the tale.

I'm finding I'm really not hungry on ME. So that with the HCG is sounding real workable. This is my plan for tomorrow:

Breakfast - coffee with 1T HWC, 2 eggs, 1t butter
Lunch - Skinless Chicken Thigh
Dinner - 4 oz Tri Tip

That adds up to 528 calories. If I allow myself 600 to 800 calories a day, that still gives me plenty of room to add in a egg or maybe some ham sticks for a snack or with dinner.

Just my Opinion – CLA/GLA
I’ve done this for only 1-1/2 weeks so this is a very early evaluation on my part.

Pros – I’ve felt great. I’ve noticed an improvement in my Rosacea related complexion. I feel less bloated and my pants fit better although I didn’t see a perceivable difference in my tape measure.

Cons – For the first time ever I gained weight doing a Fat Fast. It’s a lot of pills.

Bottom line for me. I’m starting an HCG round and actively trying to lose as much as possible in a short amount of time. So I will take a break for now and resume after my round is over for further evaluation.

Hey Jeanie,
As you can see from my last post, I'm going to take a short break until after my round and then I do intend to come back and give this a longer and better try. I do like it and have the stuff.

Saftin weight management system

I read that Saftin is NOT a CLA, but it is an LA. Safflower oil is not a cla. I see that a lot of you use Saftin liquid, but I was wondering if I should use CLA pills instead? Thanks...

CLA/GLA dosage?

I've read quite a bit of this thread, but I'm still not really clear as to the best dosage of the CLA/GLA combo.

I have 1,000 mg CLA oil softgels, which contain 800mg CLA. I have 1,000 mg Borage oil softgels which contain 240 mg of GLA.

From reading this thread, it looks like I should take 5 CLAs, and 4 Borage oils, each day with meals.

Am I on the right track with this? I know this has been addressed quite a few times, but what is the current opinion on dosage?

Update

I've been taking 5 CLA and 3 GLA for 10 days. My weight is about the same, but I'm a bit leaner around the middle. I'm looking a little more muscular too.

Since starting the CLA/GLA, I've been keeping carbs very low. I've also been strict about getting at least an hour of cardio every day. I'm lifting weights 3 times per week, and making an effort to go heavier.

I'm also taking Carnivor beef protein powder with a tsp beta-alanine, and a tsp creatine monohydrate; mutivite, b complex, fish oil, coconut oil, and agmatine.

My goal is to lose fat and build muscle (I at least don't want to lose muscle). CLA is supposed to help. I guess I'll find out; I just ordered a new supply.

I just started reading up on this and have a quick question, I only want to lose around 10-15 more pounds. Would these supplements be effective for me even though I dont have a whole lot to lose? I cant seem to find information on that. Thanks in advance
