I bought the ones pictured. The Skechers and they had PINK shoelaces with them !!! How cool is that????

Kim , no soreness here either. But I have not worn them very long yet. I dont wear shoes unless I have to around the house lol.

Howdy neighbor Lori

Ok y'all, got a chest x-ray done and they found a spot on my right lung. I got a CT scan today to see what it is. Not sure how long it will take to find out anything. Any prayers for it to be nothing serious would be greatly appreciated

Good Morning - Earlier this week someone asked me about the detox clay I was using. Below is a little information about it. I removed any name brands so this will post. Make sure you are using BENTONITE CLAY... This is the type that has all the minerals that help you detox. I discovered the values of this on my way out to the Tetons one summer First we discovered the Hot Springs - and my ex who had bad psorisis - was amazed at how his skin cleared up after sitting in the hot springs over a period of two days. The first Hot Spring we can across was in Metropolis (sp) after that I did some more research and also discovered the benefit of bentonite clay. A little messy but IMO worth it. You can find it on some of the online auctions for sale. Best buy is to get a 20# bag for about $30 including shipping... If anyone else uses different types of detox I'd love to hear about it!

As far as CLA / GLA goes - Im not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me.... but I look at my legs... and they seem to be getting smaller from my knees towards my thighs... ! Im going to take measurements today to see if it is true or if Im just like I said seeing things.

Does anyone's else body hurt at night? Is this a sign of the fat being eatten off my body?

Thanks for your replies. Hope you all are staying warm! Looks like most of the country is feeling the cold that is usually only experienced in Wisconsin! Go Packers!

You can detoxify your body inexpensively in the comfort of your home with the same high performance ingredients used in expensive spas. This is the purpose behind “Detox Bath.” By noninvasive and nontoxic use of Bentonite clay, hot and cold water applications, sweating and body wraps, you can safely detoxify your body.

The Ingredients and what they can do

Bentonite clay contains more than 70 trace minerals, mineral rich mined sea salt which has been compacted and kept pure in landlocked environmentally clean areas, and powdered Bladderwrack teeming with trace minerals including iodine. These three natural ingredients work together to produce a powerful detoxification of heavy metals and other impurities in the body. By putting one cup of Detox powder in a tub of hot water, the minute clay and seaweed particles expand and develop electromagnetic properties. The expanded particles develop into a large surface which enables them to pick up many times their own weight of various body toxins. This wide surface is made of a great number of tiny platelets, each with a negative electrical attraction for positively charged toxins. Bentonite clay’s negative charge is responsible for its amazing detoxifying properties: it is a magnet for many toxic elements present in the human body (heavy metals, pesticides, and free radicals), which are positively charged. This physical pulling power also has an absorbent action (like sticky paper) as toxins are drawn into the porous surface of the clay.

Bentonite Mineral Clay provides an impressive assortment of minerals, including calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, sulfur, manganese, and silica in addition to an assortment of rare trace minerals. Trace minerals are essential to good health as they enable the body to absorb nutrients. Uncle Harry’s Mineral Clay contains 71 trace and ultra-trace minerals. Normally, metallic minerals are hard to digest and assimilate; however the metallic minerals in bentonite which have been exposed to the sea, have already been “digested” by sea plants and are thus water soluble and readily assimilated by the body.

Amazing absorbant quality of Bentonite clay

Dextreit, a French naturopath, demonstrated the drawing and absorbing properties of mineral clay. He wrapped raw eggs in a layer of Bentonite clay and used similar raw eggs exposed only to air as a control group. He noted that those eggs which were wrapped in clay lost three times as much weight as those eggs which were left exposed. He also observed that the egg shell of those eggs which had lost the weight from the clay were intact and did not incur any damage in the process.

What do you do with the clay?

I let us run out of Borage oil caps , so I have to order some more this week. Now that the holidays are over, its time to get back to business !!

Kim, I wore my shape-up shoes all day yesterday and I am not the least bit sore anywhere today !! I'm not sure if thats good or bad

Thanks for the confirmation.

I also read yesterday that CLA enhances your endurance...
which I can attest to. I think that's why I was able to do 40 minutes on the eleptic (sp) machine with out stopping at 3.5 mph... I really didnt think about it until my fit sister said there was no way she could do that... thus the research - and my finding! hurray!!!

Im still doing atkins...had a few barcardis last night watching the game - I won $125 !! Any one else ever order a pizza and just eat the toppings off of it? lol We have excellent pizzarias in my town...

No exercise this weekend except house keeping and shoveling....
Think

I have my week set up with sausage eggs for breakfast salad for lunch and brocolli and some sort of protein for dinner... filet migneon - steak tacos - cheese and broccoli soup - onion soup are on the menu this week for us... Amazing how I can eat all my favorites and still lose weight! Let's all have a great week!

Good Morning Everyone - Shae - Seldomcontent... curious how the first month went on the liquid cla? Mine came in the mail last night... Does anyone also take coconutoil with that? I have some and would like to - just not sure if I should take them together... or seperate... I like taking my CLA/GLA about an hour before I workout in the morning... Just is the way I began now I think the combo gives me a boost to endure working out longer! Comments on the coconut oil and combo together would also be appreciated! Thanks! babycricketgirl

Lori, Trish? Was the shoe you got called Therashoe? ( what a goofy name) It's the only shoe on Kmart.com that I could see that looked the same. I asked about skechers at Kmart but mine don't carry skechers so I wonder if it's a different brand?

Hi Ladies~

Hey I hear you guys loving your exercise shoes... Now the question? Are they easy to walk in? I look at the curved sole and think I'd trip and fall like I do when I wear platform heels!

Its hard to describe how they feel. When you first put them on, you do feel kinda unbalanced, and feels like your rocking backwards, but when you walk they sorta squish down and even out. They come with a DVD to watch that explains how to wear them lol. It only takes a few minutes to get used to them. I only stumbled one time when I didn't walk right, I kinda shuffled . You walk from your heel and roll to your toes. They really feel good. Most comfy shoes I ever owned !! I have the Skecher shape-ups. The silver & pink ones of course lol

Hi Y'aaall!

Trish - You know you are in my prayers, giiiiirl!

Chic - Sounds like a fun Christmas!

Metqa - You sound great, as always!

Mikki - I know you already lost those holiday pounds!

I am still taking my CLA one at a time. I finish them early on, so that it does not bother the ole tummy. I am still dropping the pounds. I am only doing Pilates still, but I do a cardio, as it has a rebounder. All seem st be working!

ADLMA, always good to see you pop in

Lori, with the smartblend, you would have to take a whole bunch of them to be effective. I dont remember how many, but I know someone posted it was alot

For maximum benefits take 4 softgels up to 3 times daily

The hardest part. . . is getting back into a routine. Since I got back from Christmas, I've been struggling to remember to take my CLA. It doesn't help that I'm also, sorta, IF'ing, so It's often noon before I eat anyway, then I've eaten and say Oh well I'll take it later. . It was easier when I was Breakfasting early. What's my excuse? the liquid is so darn easy! I have no excuse except I've got no set schedule. I need to fix that.

I'm feeling ill, and don't even want to eat now, but Once I feel better, Im gonna make a stronger effort to remember my dose. It surely won't work if I don't take it.
