Chromium Picolinate?

Does anyone else take this supplement? I just started taking it a few days ago.
I do not follow a low carb diet, but more of a low fat/cal/carb plan and I have been doing amazing as far as weight loss goes, but I also work out a lot. I was just wondering what everyone's experiences have been. About 8 or so years ago I used it and it improved my weight loss weekly totals. Thanks!

I am interested in this as well, I just started taking 800 mcgs as part of my supplement routine(my daily vitamin also has 120 included so a total of 920)

How much are you taking?

Wow! I am only taking 200mcg, and that is the same dose I was taking before. Maybe I could "up" mine? I just remember it really upping my loss a while ago when I took it, so I am hoping it has the same effect on me now!

I use nutritional yeast as my chromium source and recommdend it to diabetic clients. It increases the glucose tolerance factor.

Yeah, I just started doing this today. After taking my AM supplements I had a pretty bad stomach ache-even after taking it with food. I'm hoping that subsides after my body adjusts to it.

I take this supplement any time I do Atkins. Ok - that sounds bad - but I have been on/off the wagon several times in the last 3 years.

It absolutely helps eliminate my sugar cravings and helps my blood sugar go way down.

I am taking 200mcg capsule plus 450mcg in Michael's Glucose/Sugar Metabolism Factors (supplement that has L-Glutamine which also does wonders for sugar cravings) plus the 120mcg in my daily vitamin. Total: 780mcg

I could probably up that but I don't want to spend any more on vitamins and this level is helping.

My blood sugar went from 175 to 120 in a week after adding the supplements.
