Here's the thing.....my husband has really good "aging" genes so even tho he's 6 years older than I am, there will come a point where it will LOOK like I'm married to a younger man!

Have to buy some more CO as I am running low. I really, really believe in this stuff. My temps have been higher since and I am steadily burning fat with it without starving myself.

What is everyone up to today? Yesterday was nice. My friends from AZ came out and we hung out at the pool. Afterward we walked down to the street fair and went for dinner. Had the french dip. YUM!

Howdy girls !! I've been working in the yard all day. well, after I took Chrissy and got her registered for school. I did some weed wacking, and hacked away at a big ol pine tree that keeps trying to throw me off my mower too !!! And it did the unforgivable !!!...it dripped pine sap on my new truck !! Its eating the paint off of it. I got some goo-gone to remove it. I hope it didn't hurt the paint too bad.

chic, what brand of CO did you say your using? GNC's is way too pricey if I'm going to keep taking it. I LOVE french dips !! I bet the sports bra is too cute !!! as to what i ate today, I forgot to eat, going to fix something now

We have pine trees here too.... I hate that sap. Wal-mart has this stuff in a blue bottle I think it is Rain X, It's good and doesn't hurt the paint. Just don't use it where it will run onto your grass. Yep, I done it ,and the grass is brown !!! Best thing for those dead bugs or asphalt is the Mr.Clean eraser. They laugh at me because I move my car around 2-3 times a day to keep it in the shade and away from those sappy trees. I told Dh I need a garage ! He has one, but to me it's not close enough to the house. And it is full of his Man Cave stuff.

What grade will Chrisy be in ? School starts so soon.

Boyds son is a senior this year....In the past two weeks , we have written a check for half the senior pictures, half the clothes he bought for the senior pictures,( and believe me he has to have the best) and he has just ordered his class ring I guess we still have invitations and whatever else ....
That is on top of the 600.00 a month child support, the 20.00 a week allowance and money for clothes. Wea lso had to buy a mirror for his truck... he said someone knocked it off at work... the jury is still out on that one.
He works at Burger King in Portsmouth... spends every dime he makes.
Have to give the boy credit, when he was getting ready to leave the other day, he asked Dh for gas money after he had just handed him his 20.00 allowance. He got this look and no gas money.

RH- Carpal Tunnel, 3 out of 5 trigger fingers and DeQuervain Tendonitis. Then Rehab.
They are going to call me tomorrow with the surgery date. 5 incisions. Better be some good pain meds ! My right hand hurts and is in pretty bad shape. Left hand later on just for Carpal Tunnel.

By the way, my order has strangely not arrived.. It was shipped on the 29th of June and they told me I'd have to wait a maximum of 2 weeks for them to arrive and it's 16th of July now and I still dont have it... I'm nearly out of my combo and i dont want to have to go days without it! Its also strange that it has been delayed because my previous orders were always in time...

Kim, my buddy from work that runs that scaler has to have that surgery on both hands too. His is so bad it goes up into his back. Thw scaler has no steering wheel, its all run with joysticks and hes been doing it for 16 years. You let me know if you need any help. I'm not that far away. You still have my cell???? Let me know the surgery date.
Chrissy will be in 10th grade this year.

Yes I've ordered from netrition. There orders are always on time, that is why I'm a little worried as to why it hasn't arrived yet. Netrition told me they've shipped my order on the 29th of June so I should have it by now... It's strange and I really hope I get them ASAP. I live in Cyprus. I've contacted them, but have no reply yet...

I don't think there is anything you should worry about. I hope you and your family a quick recovery!

My workout partner bailed on me today. It's okay, maybe I'll just go on a longggggg bike ride later. I need to mix it up a bit. As far as diet, I need to tighten it up. Was a bad girl last night, no ice cream but I had stuff to make s'mores. I enjoyed every bit of it but today will be a new day.

Would that mean that I'll have to wait ANOTHER three months to see results? I'm already about 2 months with the combo and now the "cycle" is broken with this delay...

Im new to this thread!!! I started taking clarinol liquid cla, and now borage oil
well the results are great!!! definitely boost metabolism!! but i just found out the company discontinued the product!! im going to die!!! so i just ordered horizon CLA capsules did anybody try them?????? Oh and also i was wondering if i would see better results if space them out with each meal, because I use to take them all at once in the moring??? And also does coconut oil help??? sorry for all these questions

I have been looking for that thread but I can't seem to find it. Driving me nuts that I can't but anyway, there was definately more than a couple of people who were agreeing that is was working for them the same as the expensive one was. I say go for it. The ingredients are the same.

The coconut oil has definately been working for me! I highly recommend it.

I haven't been told the reason, but Netrition is not responsible for the delay. I'm thinking something must have happened during transport...

There are different benefits depending on the processing. The main thing is that coconut oil is a different type of fat from vegetable or animal fat. it is a mostly medium chain triglyceride as opposed to a long chain triglyceride like most fats and it is naturally a saturated fat, 90% saturated fats, the rest is poly and un-sat. That won't change no matter what kind of regular processing is done. That's why I say that Louanna is as beneficial as a Virgin Pressed oil because the oil itself is not changed. OTOH, there are other things in the coconut itself that lend extra benefits, the small amount of vitamin E is minute, but enough to help extend the shelf life. Because it is fully saturated it won't go bad as fast as seed oils, but the vitamin E helps. There is so little of it though that refining it removes pretty much all of it. So Louanna will have a shorter shelf life than a virgin. Secondly, obviously the deordorized oils won't have a smell, so if that is a benefit to you, then you'll need virgin pressed instead of RBD.

of interest is the balance of the fats. this from wikipedia:

Of the saturated fatty acids, coconut oil is primarily 44.6% lauric acid, 16.8% myristic acid , 8.2% palmitic acid and 8% caprylic acid. Although it contains seven different saturated fatty acids in total, its only monounsaturated fatty acid is oleic acid while its only polyunsaturated fatty acid is linoleic acid.[2]

Oleic acid is found in olive oil. CLA is conjugated Linoleic acid. In the human body lauric acid is converted into monolaurin, has broad antimicrobial properties and is found naturally in mother's milk.


Also if you see Fractionated coconut or palm oil in ingredients list, don't fear:

Fractionated oil

"Fractionated coconut oil" is a fraction of the whole oil, in which most of the long-chain triglycerides are removed so that only saturated fats remain. It may also be referred to as "caprylic/capric triglyceride" or medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil because it is primarily the medium-chain triglycerides caprylic and capric acid that are left in the oil.

Because it is completely saturated, fractionated oil is even more heat stable than other forms of coconut oil and has a nearly indefinite shelf life.

So since the oil of coconut is itself, you can't really change it by refining, since you are still left with oil itself. Thats why I use a lot of Louanna and still keep the virgin stuff when I want the flavor.

BTW tests that showed decreased risk for heart disease were done with virgin coconut oil, a reason to use the virgin if you don't mind the taste and smell. I've learned to love the taste and smell of virgin coconut oil, though I still hate coconut meat. My limiting factor is cost that's anothere reason I keep both. I use the virgin for health benefits and I use the Louanna to replace my other seed and bean based cooking oils aka.vegetable oils.

There are CO capsules. I have some but cant remember to take them. I assume they are as effective as the jars ? Anyone care to elaborate on that?
