yes, definately taking the borage oil with it. I started taking it yesterday, even though we arent going back on plan until Monday. Trying to get a good start and get it going in my system. Not eating real bad, just not totally on plan yet

Oh gosh,It's been exciting here in Athens. A suicide-murder, they caught the guy but there was a campus wide alert when he was at large, and they cancelled some classes. He ended up shooting himself, after running from shooting his girlfriend. Sad! What's with people shooting up folks lately?

Ahhhhh....the weekend is finally here. I wish i had some wine in the pantry but it just doesn't keep in the house for very long! Long week, I'm so ready to sleep in tomorrow.

Kimlou, I made it to the salon today but.....seems like nobody wants to cut my hair very short! Got a good trim, nothing too exciting or different but I feel good. I love the new shampoo I just bought. Tea Tree Oil! Aaaahhhhhhhh....lovin a tingly scalp!

Can anyone tell me if they are finding that certain people are acting weird out there? Is there a full moon or could it be me? Ha ha ha.....Just kinda find myself dealing with idiots these days. They say that like attracts like, and if that's true, I've just offended myself.

metqa, I take the borage caps, but I may switch to the oil. It would be much easier. I am taking OmegaBerry fish oil caps also. Gotta watch that total for the freebies lol

chic, the weirdness is here too. I deal with it at work every night. I wish I would have gotten a pic of the moon last night. It was huge, orange and a halfmoon, with clouds around it. It looked too spooky

Never before have I tasted such and oily oil! No flavor, no smell, just 1000% oil! I'm glad it's such a small amount, but I'm gonna have to find something to take it with. even a half teaspoon of that is SO oily!



This was my third dose, just taking it straight. I might have to find a nozzle type dispenser, since the neck of the bottle is too small to get my measuring spoon into, and I'm afraid of spilling it since it has no spout for pouring! maybe something like an old fashion ketchup picnic squirter . . .

I found a dropper that I'm using to draw the oil out and measure into a spoon.
It's such a tiny amount!

Well, .... deer season starts here Saturday. DH is driving me nuts waiting on that stupid 225. order of ammmunition.. And complaining about the other 200. worth being out of stock.... Now we havea quantry of ammo here. PLease UPS man bring them before Friday... before I go "dear" hunting with my two hands around his neck..... Yep, I really DO love him OH... he is on vacation all week next week.

Started at 192, down to 187 today.. I know its water weight, but I'll take it lol. I cannot do the strict adkins again, so I am going with the south beach diet, like my Dr. suggested years ago. I gotta have my fruit !!! Toms going with strict low carb. I got some south beach meal replacement bars for work. I figure thats beeter than not eating the whole 10 hours I am down there. I was starving last night. Tom made a LC meatloaf last night while I was at work, so I had that today with a salad. I got some soy nuts to munch on at work. We'll see how it goes ................

Me too !! That other was , even w/choc milk.

I'm looking into the SB too..... I love apples, tangerines,clementines & Naval oranges ( Hate seeds).

I bought some lemons today. I'm going to start drinking lemon water instead of diet soft drinks. My diet cheerwines will last longer that way. I love them !!! I'll save them for treats

So funny....this is the time of the year where all the good ole boys from the mid west and the north mid west go hunting. My sister is dating a nice guy from Minnesota- he disappeared for a week. They just started dating and he had to have "the talk" with her about his hunting. I think it's cute because it was like, I really, really like you.... BUT....I WILL go hunting.....no matter what. I like this cla better than caps. It completely overpowered my soup at first, but if I stir it in first, I don't notice as much. much better than 5 huge capsules!

I have mixed fealings about CLA. There are 2 forms of cla the 10 -12 and 9 -11 kind.
Meat contains mostly the 9 -11 kind which scientific studies say is good for us. But the
the CLA supliments we can buy have a 50/50 mix of these 2 kinds of CLA. Well the 10- 12 kind is defintly harmful. I not only have read studies about this but saw a few people
on a diabetic forum talk about CLA. It seems they did lose some weight at first but it
ended up making there diabetes worse then when they stoped taking it there diabetes
got a little better. There is one suppliment containing only the 9- 11 form of CLA but it
is MUCH more expensive. I might try it later if I can nerve myself up to lay down $60 for
a month's worth of it rember I mentioned it's expensive!

Well Im back lol. Like I said my oldess daughter (7 years old) Had the H1n1 she got through it i dont beleive in the h1n1 shot so i didnt bring my other kids to take it. It wasnt that bad she was a lucky one and Yestday I start caughing and fever and all that I have the h1n1 now lol. People are taking the h1n1 to seriously. that virus is not a big deal with if you healthy. So I hope I will get through it as fast has she did cause i cant take anything for it no medication anything im allergic to 8 kinds of medication lol.

For the Cla I stop it cause it was just crazy over here. Im starting back on monday and with the tanolin cla and borage oil.. primerose oil is crap lol

Be tough, and get better soon. Blast about the medicine allergies, can you not take any herbal versions? I saw some pastilles that were just sucrose, and mint and other herbs for cough that work really well and were really soothing. Olbas I think was the name.

Maybe you could do that liver cleanse that Jake recomended to bouji after her H1N1 shot illness. Rick's thread. It's all citrus juice and cooking herbs good for health cleanses. H1N1 shot reaction

I began breaking my CLA up during the day, so I take one every 60 to 90 minutes. For those who was on CLA, stopped and went back, give that a try. I am losing 3 to 5 lbs a week. Woohoo! I am deep in onederland now too! I also talke liquid L Carnitine. It is easier for it to hit my system. It is lemon/lime, so the bottle says, but. . .boy, it is still hard to swallow. LOL

So I had such a wonderful morning with my DH. Both kids are in school so we took a drive and had a quiet breakfast in a cute lil beach town called Seal Beach. As we took a walk after breakfast, I broke down and grabbed a honey bran muffin and a coffee. MMMMmmmmm mmmmmmm it sure was good. It just made a nice morning even nicer as we sat in a grassy spot over looking the ocean. I am learning to appreciate the here and now. I recommend it!

your post makes so much sense, I wish I'd thought to do that with my capsules. I've got the liquid stuff now, but I can still do that with the GLA Capsules. I'd not heard of Liquid Carnitine. Sounds powerful!
