Better then I Deserve! I just finished both upper and lower body workout. I did them both tonight because I am going to a high school football game tomorrow night.

I just got on the scale...261, my lowest all year and lowest in like 4 years. This is good because it means that my body will be putting less stress on my treestands this year. Also means that I'm dragging less weight to, from and into my treestands. I am starting to feel good about myself again...FINALLY! I'm just thrilled that with the 3 month or so break that I took form working out that I didn't regain a bunch of weight.

Thanks for the shout! I've had computer troubles and I've switched to Lurker mode while I'm offline so much. In a minute I'm gonna DeFrag My Memory ( Why does that sound so bad?:blush:) and I'll have to get offline for it to work right.

I've been busy working on some projects on the house. My son is moving back in with us and the only bedroom we have left is used for storage so I have to get it cleaned out. And painted. I'm sure he doesnt like the lavander color my daughter painted it when she was here lol

Kim, hows that wrist doing? I'm looking forward to the weed & catching up !!

I liked Renew Life's Cleanse more One month Cleanse. I don't know if that's the type of detox you mean, but it's gentle and easy to do only two caps in the morn and in the even'n.

Before you know it there will be a thread about us and weed... and Metq defraggin..

I have my blockers in my purse already.

I like to paint, but I hate the prep work and clean up.

Wrist is okay.. still swollen and stiff... Just to add... PT is HE?? !!! Sometimes I feel like just smacking her in the face..... good thing I am good natured !!

Kim, My friend gary that had that same surgery...workers comp made him go back to work after 5 days !!! They have him sitting in the hoise house answering phones, and hes supposed to keep it propped up above his heart

chic, I never did acquire a taste for wine. It all tastes like rotten grapes to me lol. Maybe if I tried something other than Boones farm,:blush: I'd have another opinion on that . I never was a drinker anyway

I'm detoxing myself of work right now with a little Captian Morgan......ok, ALOT of Captian Morgan and a little Diet Pepsi! There was a wee bit more then one shot going into my glass this afternoon. LOL

I was invited to the boat races at the lake of the ozarks this weekend. My wife has to shoot a wedding with her sister this weekend so I'm not able to go on Saturday. I might, just might head down Sunday morning and take Monday as a vacation day. Time will tell. My buddy has a Hustler (sp?) boat....I guess it's a pretty fancy. I guess they just hang out and drink all day. Sounds pretty good to me!

Been along time since we all played totally useless trivia. Anyone up for a game tonight? LOL

Trisha, it was a process for me to aquire a taste for red wine. I believe it started out many, many years ago with my first taste of Bartles and James! I'm datin' myself here, remember them? Well, as I got to meet people in my old career, I wanted to appear sophisticated so I would order a White Zinfandel, a sweeter wine. (Young and silly I know.) I went up a level with Chardonnay and then I somehow hit Merlots and Cabernets (reds). I really started appreciating them when I came to find out that they are good for keeping body fat at a low and is good for the heart. Boones Farm.... take me back to the 80s would ya?

Speaking of the 80s....totally useless trivia??? Been a LONG time since we've done that!

LOL...Boones Farm....Strawberry blush I think it was. I went to school with a girll that downed a bottle of that every weekend. I wish I had 5 bucks for every time I drove her drunkin' self home....in my 1984 Chrysler Laser XE turbo. That car was fast....and a chick magnet.

Red Wines too dry, how about a nice merlot. I could drink that for days . . . .:blush: with a little help from my friends of course!

Right now I'm enjoying a 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Central Valley of Chile. Can't go wrong with Chilean wines!!! I'd love to get a job at this one place opening up down the street called The Main St Wine Company. They serve and offer wine tastings with hourdeovers (sp?). That would so be up my alley!!!

I started the GLA and CLA after stumbling on this thread. I also take green tea caps, thyroid support, cromium, and kelp. The first week I lost 2 pounds and my pants were looser. Week two I gained back 1.5 pounds and my pants are tight. I eat low carb Atkins style. Mainly eggs, meat, dairy, and vegies. I have been eating my home grown onions, tomatoes, green beans and cukes in the form of pickles. I make my own baking mix to make cookies etc, because when I started eating Carbquick and dreemfield pasta I gained and gained.
My first go on low carb I stayed at or below 30 carbs for TWO years before I lost weight. no lie.. I stuck with it because I beleived what I read in the book and my then husband lost 100lbs. When I started to loose it was like a miracle, I had to buy new clothes about every two months. Naturally I thought I would never be fat again because I found the key for me in low carb. I lost 78 pounds in all, of which I have regained 50. To say I am insulin resistant is a major understatement. A cheat here and a cheat there and here I am. 231 pounds. I beleive fat begets fat. It loves to multiply itself. Also, someone said in a post how they get high from sugar. Thats me. I told my new man I could not have it in the house and now after two years and 33 pounds of gain he is a beleiver. I got rid of the garbage food.
This seems like the best group around and I will report my progress. I am folowing the advice here for the amounts to take.
