Fish oil question
I am planning on buying some fish oil for the omega 3s, and need to know if it containes anything from shellfish as I am severly allergic.

Most of the fish oil I've seen is primarily from salmon and similar fish, but I've seen some that say "all salmon," so you might want to look for that. My best advice would be to read the label AND, if you buy at a pharmacy, ask the pharmacist to assure you that there's no shellfish involved.
Since shellfish is a fairly common allergy, I would think that any fish oil that contained it would have it clearly labeled among the ingredients. |
