I think the first time around the green tea flushed a lot of the free radicals and toxins away that were in my body. I have eaten a lot healthier since then. Aspertame in the diet coke I was drinking was part of my problem. And as embarrasing is this is for me to say is that when I was heavy and drinking diet pop, I had horrible halitosis (bad breath) so bad that even the dentist was perscribing me stuff. Unknowing that the green tea would help my breath, during my weight loss one day I noticed that the bad breath was gone. ASPERTAME is poison. I stay away from it now. Every once in awhile I might drink a diet coke and then I get a bad taste in my mouth. Just FYI for those of you who drink diet pop.

Your stroy is inspiring 11 years and you have kept at a good weight, is awesone. And, by-the-way I knew that you were from the north. Northerns and Midwesterners (I'm originally from Ohio) say pop every one from the south says soda. So when I saw that you a from Michigan I said "I knew it"... uh oh does that mean we should be rivals

good afternoon! I grew up calling it pop also - born and raised in Southwest Kansas. My husband grew up in Arkansas - and he calls it soda.

I measured last night and no change since starting the combo and I am up 10 lbs ---Not because of the combo, but because my eating has been horrible. I am going to finish my supply and then determine whether or not to stay with it.

I am up also but not because of my eating, until this weekend my eating was on target. I do think the combo is working because I see slight differences. Also, I have heard that it takes anywhere from 1-2 months to start seeing results. I decided to take the advice of some of the others here and put the scale away.

I usually weigh once a week - I don't put much thought into the scale, but it is nice to see it go down!

Good morning! Today I was lazy and decided to sleep in instead of working out. I got to bed late and woke up with a headache. We were fairly busy at work yesterday, so I wasn't thinking about food all day! I actually stayed on plan . I didn't get as much water in as I wanted to, but that is ok.

yep, I guess I wouldn't even have to put my location on my profile. The "pop" gave it away. lol. I remember some parts of the south everybody called "pop" a "coke" . "what kind of coke do you want"? To me "coke" is regular coca-cola. Not Sprite or Orange or Mountain Dew...lol.

In this part of Texas, it's they're all a "coke".. since it's not capitalized, it doesn't mean Coca-Cola, I guess... sometimes we refer to them as "a cold drank"... as in, "I'm fixin' to have a cold drank, want one?"

I din't know Coke came in orange!!!! I'm from the north, but folks from the south, so I call it both Pop and Soda, depending on the Audience. i feel sorry for Pepsi lovers, it's always called coke!

I found some old photos from college. I'm mad at myself for not realizing what I had then, and All that I have NOW! I'd love to get back to that slender shape. but I noticed that even then my belly pooched out just a bit then too. Not as fat, just as a shape like a little poke out right underneath the belly button. I might have that for life but I hope I can get rid of the love handles a bit more.

Good morning everyone! I got up and did 30 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes on bike. Made it through another day 2 of eating clean - yea!

Hi everyone !! I havent read all the posts since we have been gone, just skimmed through. I'll go back over them when we get home friday evening or Saturday if its too late. We are having a great time. We have been to casper, Thermopolis...swimming in the mineral hot springs, and Cody. yellowstone was awesome and we have taken around 2000 pics so far LOL. I'll upload the best of them and post the link when we get home this weekend. Hope your all doing well and losing !!!

Veronica, there was a new manufacturer for the liquid cla, the other place went out of business. Its very oily now and tastes pretty yukky. No orange taste anymore, but its supposed to be just as good as the old formula. From what I understand, once what they have in the warehouse is gone, there wont be anymore

Gotta get to bed now. Heading back towards Denver tomorrow since our flight is Friday morning. We have to find a hotel close to the airport.
