Trish - Hi! You sound like you are doing great!!! I wish I could borrow Tom for about a month. LOL My DH won't stop with the poor eating habbits. I tried to make the entire house clean food, but he strives to junk it up again. LOL It has to be a lot easier when both (all) are eating the same. I fix serveral meals with each meal.
Chic - I hope you catch your energy soon! No fun with the iron issues! Been there, done that. Does your doctor keep a check on ya? Metqa - I always love hearing what is happening with you. It is sort of like reading a good book. The little "beast" is fortunate! She should well do everything you wish of her! (or him, I forgot) LOL Don't worry about the weight gain from the party. Most likely just water, maybe from the ham. It will be gone before you know it. Mikki - Release the whose fairy! You look hot! You don't need her! LOL! MMof2 - Pack-Rat-Sista! Where are ya!? Comando - Welcome to the thread. Prepare yourself for weight lose and great skin! Phil - WTG!!! Hey, I spoke to Mountain Girl. She has a new book out. I'm getting a copy! Healthy Food. If anyone wants the info, mail me! |

Kim, what I take is....
1/2 TBSP liquid CLA 4-5 Borage oil caps 1 multibiota50 (probiotic multivitamin) 1 milk thistle (for healthy liver) Calcium & Magnesium (bone health) CoQ10 (cardiovascular health) B complex + C (energy) and we just ordered some Glucosamine / Chondroitin / MSM for joint health from netrition, that should be here any day commando, I didnt like the huge pills either or how many I had to take, thats why we get the liquid cla from Netrition. If you add some sugar free flavoring to the bottle, it isnt so bad. The milk helps it go down better too. And taking it at night, I dont have the cla burps like I do if I take it during the day. If I have the 3 month results like I did back in 2005 I will be very happy. I went from a tight 18 to a comfy 14, just in 3 months !! Stick with it and you should see good results. Dont get discouraged. if you can order online, Netrition has the best prices and $4.95 shipping for the entire order. And we always get it in 3-4 days ADLMA, Tom is so supportive when I want to lose weight. (If Trish isnt happy, no ones happy ) Hes in the kitchen now cooking up meals for the week. I wanted him to try Sheilas sweetballs, so hes making them. He also bakes up alot of boneless skinless chicken fillets, so we can add it to salads, and do what ever we want with it. He makes it pretty easy for me to stick to plan. Hes awesome !!!! I always tease him and tell him I keep him around for his cooking skills . Send me info on MG's book please . I have another friend who just got her childrens christian book called "nana's tomato patch" published. I hope they remember us little people when they are rich and famous ![]() While hes in the kitchen cooking, I'm going to go mow the yard ![]() Phil, lucki, mikki, chic, michele, michelle...check in please, and anyone else I missed ![]()

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA, but my plate is full with physical therapy and watching over MIL while she is going through chemotherapy. Today, however, I don't have anything to do and the weather is gorgeous and I feel like crap -- have a fever.
I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well and the love the kitty pictures and Metqa I am so happy you have the cat! ![]() Phil - You are smokin' with your weight loss. KUTGW! Trish - Those meatballs are great! I've made them several times this year and everyone loves them. Good luck to Treva. ADLMA and Chic - I'm here. ![]()

Hi friends, all of you! I am still around, just trying to stay sane just like everyone else! I have been doing well with WOE. Every so often I fall off the wagon (like tonight with pizza) but I get back on it. I am just trying to figure out a balance for me since it's a way of life and not just a way to be until the end of summer. Fitness is still a big thing for me, in fact I'm going to be running another 5K this Saturday. ![]() Another thing that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not outside and do sign on is Facebook. I'm not caught up on the past posts but I thought I would just step in to check in. Really hoping you all are doing well and are happy. Big hugs,C

Hey....
Checking in. My weight is sitting at 264, which is good. The down side, when I woke up this morning the pain below my knee was back. I was on the treadmill last night and I'm sure that is what triggered it. I'll be going back to the doctor on Monday for x-rays if the pain is still around. So in a nutshell....I'm depressed. I am more healthy then I have been in 4 years and yet I am in pain. This sucks! I'll be doing lowerbody tomorrow night as long as I do not feel pain while working out. um...yeah. Sorry to drag the tread down. I'll leave on a positive note. SPRING IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!!! ![]()

Tom - I am only a state over. I think Trish will be cool for a rental. LOL!
Trish - Thank you again for the info! Wow cut the grass twice already. That is good exercise! You went from awful ice to warm weather fast! I love lawn work too! Phil - I am so sorry about that let. You need to give it a break. I know you are anxious to stay on track, but that leg is asking you to slow it down a bit. Listen to your body. You didn't bring the thread down. We are all here to help each other. Chic - I think a little something off plan now and then is ok. It is better to be a little of plan now and then, than to deprive yourself, and go way way off plan in a big way. I think you are doing great, and I am so proud of you! You will run just fine! MMof2 - How is MIL doing? I don't remember if I told you or not, but DH is ok. He has an issue in his lymph system around his stomach, but it is not cancer. We are trully blessed. I keep your MIL in my prayers. I also keep you in my prayers, as caring for someone going through what she is can be draining. Metqa - Where are you?? Did that beast haul you away? |

that stupid cat Hauled Tail first chance it Got! I tried to tell the girl, it's a vagrant, it doesn't WANT a home. Now I feel I gotta pay her back for the flea spot she gave me to put on the little ingrate!
![]() I speak harshly but I like animals, even the loafers! ![]() I can't seem to get back in rythm with the CLA so I'm gonna put off taking it till I'm ready. I'm planning to lose some more weight anyway and so I don't want conflict of supps. Plus I need to get some more GLA to go with it so it works.

Tom - Congrats on the weight loss!
Yesterday was my first day back on the CLA/GLA and I woke up 3 pounds lighter this morning. Funny how I did not react that way to it before.![]() Phil - I feel for ya buddy. I do seriously believe that the treadmill is hard on the knees. My left knee has been killing me since I've started back on it. It is downright frustrating! You are doing great with your weight. Chic - I just joined FB in February. Sorry, but you will have to look me up because I haven't figured that out yet. I'll PM you my full FB name. It's been a lot of fun getting back in touch with some high school friends. Metqa - The little bugger will back in no time. I wouldn't worry about paying the lady back for the flea stuff. ADLMA - Praise God that DH is okay and it is not cancer! I hope the lymp system gets straightened out. My MIL's BIL has some sort of lymp problem going on around his stomach (I think) and it is not cancer. I wonder why it does that. MIL is feeling pretty good this week (her week off chemo). She is even going to get her hair done tomorrow morning. to Trish, Kim and anyone else I've missed. |

Aww Phil, I’m sorry bout your knee. You don’t bring the thread down. Sorrow shared is lessened, Happiness shared is multiplied, Right? Take care of your self and don’t get too down. You said it yourself, you are healthier than you’ve ever been.
Thanks Tom, I can’t believe so many people are taking to radishes like that. I’ve always liked them but I had so many odd veggie uses that I thought nobody would even care about a steamed radish. Linda told me to make the thread and she was right, It’s popular. I’m gonna cook a roast atop radishes tomorrow in the crock while I’m out at work. I hope its as good as I expect. Hey Chick. I can’t keep track of all those books and pages! I kept signing up to whichever friend send me this invite and that invite, till I drew the line. I’m sure I’ve got memberships at countless Face Page like places and I can’t remember the passwords to any of them ![]() Wow, Michelle, CLA made you lose three Pounds??!!?! That’s pretty darn amazin’. ADLMA, thanks. If My life were a book, I’m afraid there’d be terribly boring bits. I tastefully ( but not always tactfully) edit in the good and interesting stuff and when I’m not posting about it, I’m living the rest of my boring day often with lots of Murphy’s Laws and Explicatives thrown in . . .. My life with my pets would make some interesting cliff notes. Chapter 1: Washing Your Cat. . . .Trish, I’m glad Treva’s doing better. |

MMof2 - Awww Pack-Rat-Sista, I do hope you are feeling well fast. Be very careful with yourself. Remember, you have to look out for Michelle first, so you can be good for others. Don't let worry and running with MIL make you drained and ill. Take the days in between for you. I do hope you are better very very soon!
Metqa - Hey, you life is way more fun than mine! LOL If I posted on daily life it would be, "Weell, made breakfast for the girls, vacuumed, washed clothes, packed dishwasher, started dishwasher, started class, fixed lunch, unpacked dishwasher and began packing again, started class, finished class, talked to hubby on phone, made supper, got kids clean, put kids in bed with prayers, crawled in bed myself, sat awake forever, feel asleep for a few hours, got up and did it all again. Now, see why your life is fun!? ![]() Chick - Life treats me well. My girls, thank God, are healthy and avoided the flu this year. Hubby is grumpy, due to a lymph system thing around his stomach, so he is not so much being kind to any of us. I am sure that will change soon. School finishes during the first week of May. Each child did great! (Brag, brag, brag) How is you life going? Boys doing well? DH treating you good?Howdie everyone! ![]() |

Okay. I ordered my combo yesterday. Went by Trishs example,
cause I HATE having to remember to take all those supps multiple times a day ![]() Once a day I can remember ( I think). Went to GNC and the poor girl there was cluless what I was looking for. ![]() Wal-Mart, a lot of the supps looked very low and selection not as good as it use to be. Rite-Aid, they call that a drugstore , okay if I wanted shampoo, groceries, liquor (although I could have used a drink by then)Kroger, everything except what I was looking for. OK .... Vent over ![]() |

Kimlou - I get mine from Netrition.com. Easy to find all I am looking for, and the shipping is fast. I don't know. It may be cheaper here or there, but all said, I can find what I want here. I also know the products are of good quality and fresh. I wish ya well! I follow Trish's example too with the addition of a few things. LOL She is a good leader!
