"Kung Fu actor did not commit suicide"

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The forensics expert hired by David Carradine's family has concluded that the "Kung Fu" actor did not commit suicide, but said Thursday that more information was needed from Thai investigators before the cause of death could be determined.
Carradine's brothers, Keith and Robert Carradine, each read part of a prepared statement to reporters from The Associated Press at a Los Angeles hotel. In their first public remarks since their older brother was found hanging in a Bangkok hotel room closet last week, they thanked supporters and asked for privacy.
"This is a devastating loss for our family and we greatly appreciate the compassion pouring in from all over the world," Keith Carradine said.
They also released a statement by Dr. Michael Baden of New York that indicated a second autopsy determined Carradine didn't kill himself.
"However, to reach a final determination as to the cause and the manner of death we must wait for further information from Thailand as to the scene findings and the completion of the crime laboratory and toxicology studies that are still being performed," Baden's statement concluded.
Reached by phone after the morning briefing, Baden said he expects to receive more information from Thai authorities in a week or two and stressed that the information at hand was incomplete.
"The autopsy is only part of the analysis," he said.

Just curious.
The top number is the pressure from when the heart contracts, the bottom is from when it relaxes.

Thanks for the update Trish.

Can you send some of those sprinkles my way? My daisies are beginning to wilt.

Its on the first page of the thread, How many caps you take depends on the amount of GLA in each of the capsules. So if it says something like serving size 3, and the info, then divide the GLA amount by three to get the amount per your brand capsules. Then take enough capsules to get to , what is it 500? I gotta go back and check for myself!

Welcome to the thread LowCarbF69 . What kind of coconut oil are you using?

I got some from the GNC. It's Emerald Laboratories Extra Virgin, Certified Organic Coconut Oil. I add it to my coffee. How have you been taking it and how much?

Trisha - Do you know if taking extra Borage oil will have any affect on the inches lost? I purchased mine from GNC, serving size 2 caps, 1000 mg with 212 mg GLA. I am taking 3 caps 3 times a day because I want to see if it will clear up my skin. The information I read concerning using it for eczema says to take 3000-4000mg per day so I increased by dosage for that reason. Also do you have any information on Guggulu. I have been reading up on it. It is also a fat burner and can be used in conjunction with other fat burners.

bsbarlow, what works for one wont work for another, its hit and miss on the dose. I need 4 and sometimes pop a 5th. Heres what I found on the Guggulu....Never heard of it but sounds promising...

Guggulu - Herbs From The Land of India
Guggulu is considered to be one of the most and natural
cleansing herbs. It helps in treating various skin related
diseases and is effective in many more conditions. Go on
reading if you want to find out something more about
something more about GUGGULU.
Indian Bdellium, which is called by the name Guggulu in India
(It is also known as Commiphora Mukul), is one of the most
trusted herbs which can be used as a purifying agent, a tonic
that helps rejuvenate our cells/tissues, and plays an important
role in balancing nervous system and solve reproductive system
related complaints etc. It is also considered for its use in solving
and controlling menstruation cycle related problems.
Guggulu as described above, possesses purifying qualities,
which help in purifying blood by removing toxins and other
impurities from blood. As it cleanses blood and removes
impurities, it also helps our cells to rejuvenate and become
fresh and active.
Its cleansing qualities are very effective in treatment of various
skin disorders/diseases. For those who are suffering from skin
related problems and various infections, Guggulu can help
them in finding some relief as it helps in stimulation of
Phagocytosis by increasing leukocytes level in the blood. The
skin, kidneys, mucous membranes and many other internal
organs omit this; this activity helps in keeping our body safe
from getting infected. Guggulu is considered to be one of the
most effective disinfectants that help our body in getting rid of
the unwanted elements/substances naturally. It also helps in
removing/reducing some type of unwanted tumors from our
body (which are caused by infection).
Along with cleansing the body, Guggulu also helps in reducing
the level of Cholesterol from the blood. Guggulu is used in the
weight control medicines/supplement as it helps in
buring/reducing unwanted extra fat from our body in the most
natural way.
Guggulu is very helpful in conditions such as arthritis (a
condition caused due to 'Vaat & Pitta Dosha') in which the
patient suffers from the pain (Vaat Dosha) caused in the joints
and also in cells/tissues. The other main reason of arthritis is,
the toxic substance (which is caused due to some problem in
digestive system, which results in half digested food which is
referred as 'AMA' (TOXIN)) that gets accumulated in the tissues
of body and induces the effect of pain in the body. As guggulu
is very helpful in improving the digestive system and it also
helps in removing toxins from our body, it can be used
effectively in treatment of arthritis. (Trifala Guggulu is mainly
used in the treatment of Arthritis; it also eases the
inflammatory conditions).
Normally, Guggulu is used in combination with other herbs to
help in treatment of several problems. Various types of
Guggulu (Guggulu combinations) are also available such as
Yograj Guggulu, Kaishore Guggulu (helps in burning extra fat
from body), Trifala Guggulu and Purified Guggulu. People who
are suffering from Laryngitis (A kind of viral infection of throat
which is characterized by cough, sore throat and fever etc.),
and those who are suffering from bronchitis, cystitis,
pneumonia, whooping Cough etc. can benefit from Guggulu
and its combination with other herbs. Guggulu also can be
used to treat people suffering from bronchitis and in certain
nervous conditions.
(Please Note: Before trying any medicine/herb, please do
consult your physician. Even when herbs do not cause side
effects, it is very much important to know how our body will
respond to any such elements!)

Veronica, 4 is what works for me

metqa, they are kinda big but they have a higher gla count so its worth it to me. I chug them down with my CLA milk

Well Trish, I said no excuses, but I think I just may have another. I've been experiencing skin hives the past few days, and today to the point that my throat actually feels tight. I might have to avoid anything new until I can figure out what is causing it. BF wants me to spend the next few nights over his house in case it's mold. And I should limit my foods until I, I don't know really. I'm bummed cause this might be causing me to retain water and making my weight stay up the past few days. I so want to get started back on the combo to finish off my love handles and this happens. We'll see. I've taken the generic form of I think Zirtec, the green package stuff. I 've never had allergies before so this is all new to me.

Trish- Thank you for all of the information, I had read some but not all of this. Most of the information that I had was on the fat burning effects; they talk about it alot on many of the bodybuilding sites. They use to to burn off fat before competitions so that they can get that "cut look".

Metqa - I have never had rashes or skin problems in my life, until now. I am soon-to-be 48 and my doctor says that I am in pre-menopause which causes a lot of these types of changes as well has the fact that eczema (what I am dealing with on my neck and arms) is actually caused by the same thing that causes allergies, which I had as a child and also runs in the family. I say all of this to say, you might want to check to see if it is a type of allergy.

I ran out of CLA last night I thought I could make it until my Thinfat came in. Has anyone ever tried that brand of CLA and if so just so that I have an idea, how much do you take?

...the calm before the storm . I have a few minutes before I have to get ready.

chic, my BP yesterday was 133/78, he said that was very good. I have to get an MRI to see if there is any damage. He said with the titanium plate in my neck, it sometimes causes a glare and if the MRI isnt clear, he will have to do a test to inject dye into my spinal cord and MRI it that way. He said its very painful, so he doesnt want to do that unless he has to *skeered*

bsbarlow, We tried the thinfat when they were talking about discontinuing the liquid cla. The dose is the same from what I remember 1/2 TBSP. Its very oily too. Seems it worked as well as everything else

I am very nervous about the pictures. I want to do a good job for her. The brides name is Tasha. She is my daughters best friend and stayed here so much she calls me mom. This week, her caterer quit, leaving her with no food for the reception, now her mom has to cook for 250 people. Then the dresses didnt get in until yesterday and all had to be altered. The guys tux's were supposed to be in this morning with their shoes, so they better fit or they are S.O.L. Then the people that were supposed to decorate the church abd reception hall backed out, so the girls all went and did it last night. They had to run everywhere to find flowers and decorations. Thankfully, they did get a cake. She couldnt afford a photographer and she knows how much I love taking pictures so she asked if I would do it. I am thrilled to do it. I just havent worn heels for so long, I'm used to bare feet or steel toe boots lol , and I hope I dont fall on my face !! I asked her if I could wear my slippers , and she said uhhhhh NO . Tasha stayed here last night so the groom couldn't see her before the ceremony. They had a girls hot tub night and they are now doing each others hair. So I have 3 girls, 2 little girls and a dog running all over the house . Tom escaped and went to work . The preacher doing the ceremony is also the hoistman at my work, so I will feel more comfortable running around taking pics. I'm going to try to video the ceremony for them too. I'm more nervous than the bride !!!! Wish us all luck we get through this day without any disasters !!!

Myelogram
A myelogram (my-low-gram) is an older test that is used to examine the spinal canal and spinal cord. This test requires a special X-ray dye to be injected into your spine by a doctor. This is done by inserting a small needle in the lower back and into the spinal canal. When the myelogram is taken, the dye outlines the spinal cord and nerve roots so that disc and bone problems can be seen.

Thanks for the ideas. That's really interesting to know. I hope I'm too early for menopause at 34, but I suppose if I'm making changes in my life whatever balances could be upset huh? BF thinks I may have toxins released from losing weight! I hope I wasn't toxic before! I've never had allergies before, but I guess that doesn't mean I couldn't have had some buildup or something.

I can't get 'checked' as I have no insurance, but I suppose I could ask one of the neighborhood clinic folks about it, or maybe I could snag a premed student to harass.

Hello everyone... How is the weekend for everyone?

Met>.. I hope you figure out what is causing the Hives. I get hives every now and again on my thighs and it itches something fierce. I don't know what causes it. It usually occurs during the night when I sleep. Or sometimes when I wear a pair of jeans that have been tucked away in a closet or drawer. I'm guessing either dust or heat.

Well ok another week has gone by... just a little progress this week. 1/2 inch down on my waist. The belly is still the same and my thighs are still the same. I have been slacking on the stair stepper. Getting lazy. But what I have noticed is that my favorite pair of jeans are loose on me. I didn't notice them being that loose a few weeks ago. Also no weight loss on the scale either. But I was able to go out last night in a tight tank top and didn't have to worry too much about my belly flab hanging out. Still have a little ways to go. I put on a pair of shorts today that I have been reluctant to wear because my thighs have a lot of cellulite. But I can see a big difference in them from about 3 or 4 months ago.. But still need some work there too. Need to use the stepper more. I am getting there.. Woo hoooo

Thought I would check in. Lots of new faces, good to see you all.

I am holding on to 262 for now. Hoping to see the 50's sometime this week.

It's pretty chilly here for the time of year. I'm ready for some hot weather to warm the pool up so I can get in it. I hate swiming in cold water!!!

Take care
