I worked for psychiatrist for a bit and that was one of the biggest complaints about Geodon and some of the other meds too.

Supposedly its weight neutral, too! As soon as I started taking it, I started packing on the pounds...it was horrible...I wasn't even eating any differently, either. That was one of the major reasons I started on this WOE since stopping the medication at this point is not an option.

I got home today from my training and UPS had left my order on the side porch (a door we normally don't even used). I opened the package and the items were very warm, and the 2 CLA bottles were sunkin in. I called UPS 'cause I was mad - on the borage oil capusule container it specifically said "store in cool, dry area." When I called UPS they asked if the items were shipped in dry ice or anything or if it the order was specified not to leave on porch. Last time we weren't home and they took it to the post office and I picked it up there. UPS told me to leave the items in the originating package and have available for inspection if requested. I plan on calling Netrition tomorrow to find out if the product is even good.

Hey there all! Sorry for the late response, I've been very busy this week... Thank you for all your replies to my concerns though, really appreciated!!! =] I began taking the GLA/CLA combo on monday, it's been five days now! I haven't really seen a difference, my weight is going a few grams up, a few down but I'm confident I'll be seeing great results in 2 months time!! =]

By the way, I've seen somewhere on the internet that CLA can be taken in 30g every day but this seems a little too much??

Sorry, life's been after me lately to New York and back, Zooming about town for the office,a nd computer crashing and tomorrow going home for car repairs. I've been a bad girl for posting.

Hello everyone... hope everyone is having a great weekend. I had some progress this past week.

. First of all I don't trust my scale. It goes up and down. Today it is down 5 lbs, b'ut I don't know if I believe it, what I do believe is my measurements! Not only can I feel that my poochy, flabby belly is smaller, it measures smaller too. Now before I share my measurements, let me just say that I have been a yo-yo dieter for as long as I can remember and along the way with having children and getting up there in age, I have lost a lot of muscle tone. That is one reason why I did some research and found out that CLA is supposed to build lean muscle. Although my measurements may seem small to some, a 23 inch thigh of muscle will look a lot nicer than a 23 inch thigh of flab and cellutlite(which is what I have) so... if I could be the size I am that is solid muscle, I would be happy. My goal here is to get rid of flab and build muscle. Ok here it goes.

WTH greenejoy !!! It will keep working, just don, t give up. I agree with chic, for whatever reason, it works best the first time. once you stop taking it, and restart down the road, I still see results but not like the first time. I did bring ours with us, but with all we have been eating here, I haven't been taking it so I didn't waste it

Yes, actually UPS is going to replace my order but said I had to keep the original packaging and items for 5 days. Netrition called me on Friday and they will be sending me the re-order as priority mail so it will go directly to the post office. Everyone was helpful. The lady at netrition did make the comment that the oils would probably not be effective and just to toss them. I haven't been taking the borage oil the past week because I have been out of the CLA (and 'cause I kept forgetting). I am having an outpatient procedure done on Friday so I probably won't start taking the supplements again until Saturday or Sunday.

were yours warms to touch when you got them? I thought about keeping them as a backup - right now they are sitting on my counter in case UPS calls and wants to inspect.

it was cool and rainy whenwe got ours, but even though the bottles were sunk in they didn't feel hot. that's not to say they didn't get hot in transit. I only took 2 doses of the new stuff and it didn't taste any worse than usual. wondering now if it's not effective anymore either.

maybe they aren't bad ---I think I am going to keep a hold of them and use them, as well as the borage oil capsules - can't hurt. But even the person from Netrition said they probably are no longer good due to being exposed to the heat.

we stopped in Perry Georgia to get some sleep since the storms were slowing us down. we will get an early start tomorrow and get home sometime in the afternoon. we are going to try and find me some diet cheerwine when we go through Tennessee.

I,m going to write Netrition about my cla when I get home before I take anymore. I know I regained everything I lost this week since we ate way too much. my clothes are all tight again

That's a shame that the cla bottles have gone bad! I got 2, one for a relative and one for me but I already had a bottle of tonalin cla bottles before and haven't used the liquid one yet so that one is closed! my relative however has been using the liquid one for quite a while now! I didnt think it would have gone bad or something, I thought maybe there was something wrong in the packaging process. What should I do? If they haven't gone bad its ok but what do you suggest I do??

Howdy from Texas!.. I'm new!.. looking forward to getting to know all of you & getting (& giving, when I can) lots of info & encouragement... I'm a 60 year young woman, overweight (I don't know how much, I haven't been on the scales in a couple of years, but I wear size 16 or 18), & trying the CLA/GLA combo... I took CLA by itself several years ago & saw some quick results, but didn't stay with it for some reason... life got in the way, I suppose... yeah, I know, that's a dumb excuse...

Anyway, I've been taking the combo for about a week & after only 4 days started noticing my double chin seemed to be shrinking & my jowls were going away... then I messed up by eating too many salty pretzels & now I'm all puffy again... as soon as I get rid of all this water, I'm hoping to see a big difference...

I haven't decided on a WOE, just wanted to see how much the combo helped, even with my regular diet (which isn't always the greatest).. I have a goal to be a size 10 by July 2010... that's when my class reunion is & it'd sure be nice to show up looking fabulous...

Hope everybody has a TERRIFIC Tuesday...

Hello Aunt Sheshie! I'm sure you'll succeed with going down to size 10! I've heard some amazing success stories with people just taking CLA but the CLA/GLA combo seems to be more effective so you might reach your goal earlier! =]

I would definitely contact who you ordered them from. Most vitamins are supposed to be stored in a cool-dry area. I opened my cla last night and had some, it looked overly watered down. I put it in the refrig last night and am going to try it again today (maybe it wasn't shook up enough), but I am pretty sure it is no good. Oh well - my replacement order should be here sometime this week!!

Fonda, could you please pm me with the e-mail or phone # of who you talked to at netrition about the CLA? Mine was extra watery too, but I always store mine upside down in the fridge and that thickens it up and helps it mix better when you shake it. I hope it isnt bad !!!

I was afraid to weigh when I got home, but I did it anyway. Tom offered to hide the scale for me lol, but I needed to see the damage i did on vacation. My scale says 199, so It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. wheeeew !!! It sure is nice to be back on my laptop. The iphone is awesome but it is so small I was having a hard time reading and posting.

Gold Rush, if you give me a list of what you got I'll ask when I call or e-mail them. I would think its just any oils that would be questionable

My hubby Tom lost close to 30 lbs in that time. The thing that amazed me is even with little scale weight loss, it really reshapes your body, and defines your waist and your clothes get way looser

I haven't been measuring, but I'm going to start soon...I promise! I know I'll be able to keep better track of my results other than just how I look in the mirror! Although I can't complain...I've been on the combo almost a month now and I've lost almost 20 lbs...I can definitely notice that my face is much slimmer (which I LOVE since "baby faces" run in our family)

I got them from netrition, everything else I got seemed fine except the cla... the bottle was sunken in but i didnt think it would be bad.... now i think maybe the other vitamins were effected. =[

metqa, the weather through georgia was terrible !! It rained so hard we couldnt see the cars in front of us until everyone put their flashers on. It was really awesome seeing all those lights flashing after that. looked like "the wave" , Wish we could have taken a video of it, but our cameras battery charger broke and we couldnt recharge it. I ordered a new battery charger from ebay, just hoping it gets here quick. I have that wedding to photograph June 13th !!!

guess what, it was sunny here all week, but now that we are home, its gonna rain for the next few days

I got 2, one for a relative and one for me but I already had a bottle of tonalin cla bottles before and haven't used the liquid one yet so that one is closed! my relative however has been using the liquid one for quite a while now! I didnt think it would have gone bad or something, I thought maybe there was something wrong in the packaging process. What should I do? If they haven't gone bad its ok but what do you suggest I do??

I'm new!.. looking forward to getting to know all of you & getting (& giving, when I can) lots of info & encouragement... I'm a 60 year young woman, overweight (I don't know how much, I haven't been on the scales in a couple of years, but I wear size 16 or 18), & trying the CLA/GLA combo... I took CLA by itself several years ago & saw some quick results, but didn't stay with it for some reason... life got in the way, I suppose... yeah, I know, that's a dumb excuse... Anyway, I've been taking the combo for about a week & after only 4 days started noticing my double chin seemed to be shrinking & my jowls were going away... then I messed up by eating too many salty pretzels & now I'm all puffy again... as soon as I get rid of all this water, I'm hoping to see a big difference... I haven't decided on a WOE, just wanted to see how much the combo helped, even with my regular diet (which isn't always the greatest).. I have a goal to be a size 10 by July 2010... that's when my class reunion is & it'd sure be nice to show up looking fabulous... Hope everybody has a TERRIFIC Tuesday...

I've heard some amazing success stories with people just taking CLA but the CLA/GLA combo seems to be more effective so you might reach your goal earlier! =] Have a terrific Tuesday too!!! =] @kycowgirl By the way, I have another question... With my tonalin cla order, which arrived in a sunken state due to the heat, I had ordered many other vitamin supplements too, do you think they are now useless too, like the cla, too?? Mine was extra watery too, but I always store mine upside down in the fridge and that thickens it up and helps it mix better when you shake it. I hope it isnt bad !!! Aunt Sheshie, Welcome to the thread . So glad to have you with us. I am also a size 16-18. More 16 as of now. I have to take water pills because i bloat up real bad too. Your having great results, so stick with it. For some reason, if you stop and restart, it doesnt work as fast. Looking forward to your results !! I was afraid to weigh when I got home, but I did it anyway. Tom offered to hide the scale for me lol, but I needed to see the damage i did on vacation. My scale says 199, so It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. wheeeew !!! It sure is nice to be back on my laptop. The iphone is awesome but it is so small I was having a hard time reading and posting. Gold Rush, if you give me a list of what you got I'll ask when I call or e-mail them. I really havent been measuring this time or taking it like I should, but when I first took it like I was supposed to, I lost 20 lbs and around 16 inches overall in 2 months. My hubby Tom lost close to 30 lbs in that time. The thing that amazed me is even with little scale weight loss, it really reshapes your body, and defines your waist and your clothes get way looser chic, Phil, metqa, michele, ALDMA...time to check in please Just a reminder to anyone taking the liquid cla, shake shake shake it real good !!! Although I can't complain...I've been on the combo almost a month now and I've lost almost 20 lbs...I can definitely notice that my face is much slimmer (which I LOVE since "baby faces" run in our family) Night Night!

Will it make it more effective that way or is the damage done??? =/ The other supplements I got were these =] DMAE, 250 mg, 100 capsules Alpha Lipoic Acid, 250 mg, 120 capsules Hyaluronic Acid, 60 capsules Borage Oil, 240mg GLA thank you for your help! =]

I'm noticing that my temps are running higher which means.....my metabolism is shooting up. Gotta like that! I think you mentioned that it's good for thyroid issues. If not, you should look into it.
