Hi JMS1, welcome to the thread

I wouldn't think there would be a conflict there. If you took the flax oil, I would say wait a couple hours, but the flax meal should be fine. Anyone else can correct me if I am wrong

Tom will have to tell you, he's the cook in the house. He gets the kitchen, and I get the yard

My friend at work tried it and she said next time Tom makes it, he better make a double batch so I can bring some for her

I think Tom used ground turkey, a pack of brocolli cole slaw, and soy sauce. Thats it as far as I know. I'll brave the kitchen and see if he left the recipe there

metqa Trish had it right , I made a very simple version of crack slaw.
1 bag broccoli slaw (2 bags would work too, next time I'm doing that)
1lb of sausage (turkey, pork, hot or mild)
Soy Sauce
Its a stir fry so brown the sausage then toss in the broccoli slaw, cook until tender, and season to your taste with soy sauce. Its to die for

Here's a link to some other crack slaw recipes Crackslaw

JMS1 I always take my vitamins and cla/gla in the morning and it works for me. Good to see you here!

Trish I'm proud of you don't let the scale win the battle

Take care my friends!

Ahhh thanks, I've just been laying kinda low these days, everything is good tho, thanks for askin! I have been training a lot more these days so by the end of the day I'm pretty spent. That plus i think i might be iron deficient again. Always seems to happen when I'm exerting myself physically.

Oh by the way.....someone asked in an earlier post if there was a difference in taking the dosage at diff times of the day or all at the same time. I always used to take it at different times but had just started taking them all at once when I noticed a whoosh. Haven't heard that word in a LONG time! That fairy had been locked up at Mikki's house for far too long! Guess I had to drag her out by gun point!

Hope you are enjoying that jacuzzi!!!

where is mikki? and the 2 micheles, and ADLMA and Phil and swinglow and Kim, and ....well you get the idea. I miss how active this thread used to be and hope everyone checks back in soon.

We got 2 new bottles of the liquid cla. It is the nastiest tasting batch yet . I have some stuff called "true orange" that you can buy next to the sweetners that I add 2 packets to the cla bottle and it improves the taste soooo much. They have lemon flavor too, so I may add that to the next bottle to test. I like the liquid so much better I dont want to stop taking it.

Going to bed now, seeya all tomorrow

Still hanging around. Thank goodness the weather is getting nicer. At least a day here and there. I've been outside working in the yard. And helping my son get his in shape. He has to mow twice a week this time of the year. I get to work up the flower bed so he can kill the flowers . He bought my house a couple years ago, so they are my old flowers and I still feel the need to baby them.

BTW Trish. they have given my EXMIL 50/50 chance for 1 year. My son is taking it okay but her children are having a hard time with it.

Trish...... Tumbleweed is calling our name !!! Soon ???

Sounds like new Cla is nasty now.

Hope eveyone else is well !!!

Going to go and change the channel I hear Paula Deen

There was a knock at my door and . . .

Oh . .THAT one.

My neighbor was standing there in the cold holding the wretched snob of a beast. Ready to apologize for whatever the little vagrant had done, I took the animal from her and it climbed over my shoulder and bounded into my home.

Great, Now it made it look like she was MINE! They'd found her huddled in a gutter looking cold. I told her the cat always came to my place for food and a free night but always left on her own. So my neighbor walked with me to the ladies house I went to last time. I was shy asking her about the cat and whether she takes care of it, but my neighbor was up front and asked. So who does the cat really belong to? Are you it's official owner? And the lady admitted that she wasn't! Well knock me over with a feather, last summer she said . . .Well anyway, seems the cat is a house hopper and nobody has ever claimed her as their own. I feel more respect for the lady though, she took it to be spayed at a free clinic, so that's cool and she said to take care if it if we wanted she's just another house on the cat's route.

So my neighbor kept making sure the beast wouldn't be burden, so I had to tell her about Qiwi, and that I don't mind since the cat has already come here so many times. My neighbor gave me some flea treatment and a pouch of moist food to maybe entice the curr to stick around and not wander.

It happens to me. . .

Look at her smug face!

ETA:For now, I'm calling the little trash-mongerer "Skinner".

So your officially adopting it? Your such a sweetie . We have about 7 strays that hang around now. Mostly kittens from the adult strays. We had a new adult cat show up this week, and it cant see well. When I went out to feed it, it ran right into the leg of the rocking chair, poor thing. Fuzzball is the only one that will let us close to it.

The picture didnt show for me

Here, I'll try it again.
Yeah, I guess so. My neighbor was so concerned that no one was taking care of it. I never bothered to do anything to it since the lady "said" it was her cat and I could feel free to feed it or play with it. She didn't say it was a vagrant. I'dve slapped a collar on the beast in a hot second.

She's not really my type. Aloof, snooty, doesn't like the generic stuff I got after she ate up all the IAM's! But I already started working on her in the summer with the clicker. I was irked and told her she had to work for meals. No one night stands here! I've got an apron on her to get her used to having something round her neck since I don't have a collar. I'm not really adopting her per se. (She has to accept me ) She's a neighborhood wanderin cat and I'm going to try to encourage her to come "home" to me. But I wish I'd known sooner. She could've stayed warm in my home all winter instead of wandering. the only difference will be she has a collar on to discourage people who pick on "strays". I'll feed her good stuff, and maybe get her to eat raw like Qiwi, if it agrees with her. First thing we gotta work on is this trash tipping!

Hello! Can someone please tell me if CLA works on its own or do I have to see results by taking the CLA/GLA combo?

Thanks a bunch!

Hi commando, I havent tried the cla alone, but I've read posts from those who have and didnt have near the good results as with the gla. The seem to work together as a team.

Oh the cat pic I posted is one of the kittens from one of the strays that live under our shed. You cant even get close to her, but I got this shot through the deck door. Shes the prettiest one I think. They are all different colors

I dunno, I cant get close enough to her to tell. I think this is one of fuzzballs kittens. Its hard to tell, all the adults take care of them. Its a cat commune lol. There is a litter of about 6 that all have long hair. One is black, one is solid white, a couple are grey etc... Weird mixes, but they are all pretty

Hey Guys! Thanks for the warm welcome I live in a very small rural community where there's no healthfood store to be seen anywhere even close, so all I have right now is CLA sitting in my cupboard. I'm just worried about the amount of pills (which are HUGE by the way!!) I am going to have to take each day, I hope it doesn't take too long to start seeing results.
