Her scale said 204
, (and I know I wasnt wearing 14 lbs of clothes) which is still a 7 lb loss since I was there last month (by her scale) , but it looks like Ima hafta get a new scale when we get back and re-group . I wondered about the digital scale being in the bathroom with all the humidity. I'm bummed ![]() she uses one of those stand on springy kind with the moving needle on it. maybe HER scale is bad Last edited by kycowgirl; 05-13-2009 at 03:27 PM.. |

yano, she was telling me that another lady was there and insisting that she lost some weight cuz her clothes were looser, but the office scale showed no change, so I bet their scale is bad. My other dr.'s scale always matched what mine said and he had one with the sliding weights

Okay, just so you understand how the scales mess with me.....
At my leanest and before I had my boys...I would wear a size 5/7 (depending on the clothes) and would weigh in at about 135/137. Now after strength training and taking the combo, I am back to wearing the same sizes but I am now weighing in at 147/152. From what I understand, the combo helps keep your muscles from breaking down. I just can't look at the scale like I did before without it driving me nuts. |

Thanks for posting the above Kimlou!
These pics are amazing.....I look at them like Rock Stars! Ha ha ha. Keep in mind tho, I heard somewhere that these people workout for about 6 hours a day and of course have personal chefs? But this is all hear say. I consider myself DANG lucky to be able to squeak out an hour and a half at the most. I wish I had a personal chef that would only make me LC meals. ![]() |

I have no idea how one can get to weigh 117! When I was 27, I started losing weight for no reason (well, it was for a reason, but I just didn't know why at the time). I was usually around 134, but had gained to 157 and then I lost a lot of weight, down to 118. I had no bust with that weight loss, and I have always been "chesty." Then in my early 30's, I started gaining weight "for no good reason." Turns out that I have Hashimoto's, but I didn't know it at the time. Now, I am having a really hard time even losing 1 pound. I'm trying not to worry about it.

I know you are in bed right now Michele but I wanted to say that I understand that Hashimoto's is a thyroid condition, right? I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism at 21 so I can say that I understand in a way what you are going thru. When I was a teenager, people thought i was anorexic (I was hyperthyroid and didn't know it) so then the Docs figured my thyroid burned itself out and became Hypo at about 21 years. That's when I started gaining all kinds of weight. I have had to learn how to be a person who works extra hard at fitness to be where i am now. With all that I do, I wouldn't be surprised if a "normal" person would be 117 lbs instead of what I weigh. It's the cards that life has handed us, I am not going to let it get the best of me. I know you will conquer it too! Good luck in finding your way thru this disease. Sending you the most positive thoughts.

I've seen bags of shredded broccoli stems in the supermartket near the bagged lettuce. It makes it so much easier to make. I like to add a few florets for flourish.

Hey I need some advice.
If you were on a business trip and were using your credit card and reciepts to show meals for reimbursement, would you put the tip on the card, or pay the tip in cash? would you ask for the tip to be included in the reimbursement? If you did and paid cash how would you document it? I'm gonna ask this in the tipping thread also. ![]() |

Trisha : have a safe trip and have lots of fun.
good evening! I didn't get any dvd/video done today like I wanted to. I ended up working an OT last night and just wanted to sleep in today. I did get my housework done and managed to walk up to the post office with the kids, only 3 blocks each way,but better then nothing. I am hoping to get to bed early tonight. I am going to be working OT tomorrow night to, gotta take it while they offer it 'cause it doesn't happen very often. eating today was convenience food: jalapeno hot dogs, hamburger, mesquite chicken. didn't get as much water in as I usually do, but working on some tonight.
