No, not really, sometimes Dh gets homesick and asks me to come and stay for a couple days. So he talked me into rescheduling my dr appt and come and visit him a couple days. Just makes for a long day if I have to stay cooped up in the hotel room. Usually I shop one day and lay by the pool or find something to do.
We just got back from eating out, He has fallen asleep, ( thnk goodnes for laptops)guess I can't blame him. He worked from 7 am Sunday morning to 1am this morning , had to be back at 8 am and worked til 4 pm. We are gonna have breakfast in the morning them I am coming home early. The floods really hit hard so he'll be working overtime for the next couple days. |

CLA alone
Goldrush> You were asking if you should take the CLA by itself. I have been taking Ultra 90 for 2 1/2 months (which have CLA and Collogen) I think I might have lost some inches in the last 2 weeks, my pants were feeling just a hair looser. They claim it takes about 3 months to notice anything because your body has to adjust and you start to build lean muscle (which weighs more than fat). I was only taking 3 U90 a day. I added the extra 2 CLA pills and 2 borage pills last week and lost 5 lbs. I honestly think that the combo is needed. Taking the CLA by itself might get the "time" in that supposedly is required and then when your GLA comes in you might be ahead of the game. Walmart has the Borage oil for only $3.84 for a small bottle, maybe you could go get a bottle there until you get your order. Hope it works for you.. I will weigh in again on Friday, I am feeling a little bloated,
let you all know on Friday. |

Later this week I am going to have to order some more liquid CLA (on payday). might try the local health food store to see what their prices are since I am going to have to go there anyway for some almond flour. We are having a pot luck lunch at work next Tuesday and I am going to make the banana split cake that has been posted on here. It is soooo good and this way I know I will have something on plan to eat!!!

I haven't tried the Dannon low carb, but carbmaster is really good and has a generous portion size and reasonable 2/$0.88 at Dillon's (Kroger). Last edited by got2getmoving; 05-12-2009 at 12:25 PM.. |

I use KRoger brand Lite. I've also used carbmaster but I like Kroger brand better. they have apple pie flavor with little bits of real apple instead of just a flavored syrup. and key lime pie,a nd lemon, and mmmmm . . . .Kroger brand often has the actual fruit. many of the carbmaster were just flavor and a bit too sweet. And the Dannon ones are usually too expensive for me unless they are on sale.

They really are expensive but I don't think I've seen any of the ones you gals are talking about. I'll have to keep an eye out for the carbmaster. If I can save a penny or two, I'm all for it!
So what are you up to today Metqa??? |

Thanks but I think Kroger is a midwest store and I'm way over here on the far west. I have to choose from Ralphs, Vons, Pavilions, Albertsons, Smart and Final and Stater Bros. Do you guys have any of these stores over there?
Okay, I need some serious help. I am having a very heavy internet addiction problem today. Sick. ![]() Hope you all are getting more done than I am. ![]() |

Hi everyone! I am new to this board and thread, but not too new to low carbing(I resumed my regimen this past Feb) and I have a question if I may:
What is the maximum effective doses you find for the CLA/GLA combination? I don't want to take more than necessary if possible--thanks for any and all help! ![]() |

![]() We don't have any of those stores Chic. I guess Dannon being it's own brand is a good choice then. There's also Blue Bunnie Brand Yogurt.
