Fish Oil and Massive Diarrhea

I've been taking the Kirkland brand...and I've been pooping like mad. Anybody else experienced this?

Omega 3

Omega 3 should not make you poop like crazy. I would suggest another brand. It appears you body does not like it so much? I have read good research stating that Krill Oil is better for you. It has more anti oxidants, the good omega 3 is bound to phosholipids and it is a more renewable food source. It may also agree with your body better and you may stop pooping like a maniac.
To Learn More About Omega 3 Krill Oil -> Krill Oil So Many Advantages Over Fish Oil.

Good Luck,
Omega 3 can help with that weight loss.

I take the kirkland brand and have done so for years and haven't had any problems. I take 1 capsule twice a day.

I take the kirkland brand too, and I haven't had that problem either. (i wish it would help because I am also on iron supplements and it seems to make everything in that deparment come to a screaching halt if I don't take something to help!!)

Are you allergic to any of the fish or soy? Stop taking it if it keeps making you have diahrhea-something is not agreeing with you.

"Contains: Fish (Anchovy, Herring, Salmon, Sardine and Sprat) and Soy."

Why not switch a good quality liquid like Carlsons CLO in orange or lemon flavored? You also get Vitamins A & D.

Had the same problem!

My internal plumbing was working way two quickly in the first week I started taking 1 T of Carlsons every morning.

But after a week, things started working normally. It may be your system getting used to it.

WOE: Zero Carb.
Too much fish oil can have a laxative effect on people.

Try a taking it only one a day, then see your reaction.

Another tip: try putting the fish oil pills in the freezer, and eat them frozen - they won't start breaking down til they get to the proper part of your digestive track.
