Don't you know it! Today was over cast and kinda warm, but i had to work. My "garden" is a holy rotting mess, but I can't make myself go out in the cold. And today I had a raging headache and muscle pains from exercising two days ago So I took a nap instead of being productive.
If it would either stay warm and wet or get cold and dry I can deal with it, but wet and cold sucks!

My landlord is a jerk, but I may put some winter cabbages out to keep it looking nice. Then in the spring "NO GARDENS" so I wonder what the losers are gonna do with the empty space that I bothered to keep nice looking for three years while they couldn't be bothered to even put down landscape mulch for all the weeds...

BIG RANT! Sorry.

Hey Mikki, Another Great Photo! You're So CUTE!

Nice Back Shot!! :wink:

Thanks for the hugs. I has a spaz!
I have a bunch of days off before the Holiday week and I just asked for a bunch more days off for the holidays. I'm not sure what to do with myself.

I've been missing Qiwi really hard lately for some reason. I suppose its because I got this little tree for us to use and I didn't get to use it. I keep finding the little bulbs that she took off the tree and stashed all over the house. Now, I've got an empty house at Holiday time. I still remember the crazy trip we took on Christmas Eve last year. I tried to take a different route and got lost. I kept falling asleep and Qiwi kept freaking out, until finally I parked in a Whole Foods Parking lot and people kept walking by to see the strange lady asleep in the car with a cat in her lap! We had some good times.

Why the heck am I so emotional right now . . .

ETA: and by the way, It's not Tom or Aunt Flo
ETA: I hate the Holiday season. . . .

LOL! Sorry. I would of done much worse to them then play G.I. Joe. Nutcrackers scare the HELL outta me. Don't know why but they do. When the boys found out a few years ago they would go into a store to find the nutcrackers and then both of them would each bring 2 of them to me. Got one for Christmas a while back. I destroyed it. ***shivers*** ***shivers again***

kimlou.... Good to see you again!

Trish...How you doin'? Tom still playing TW golf on the Wii? I gotta get me one of those.

I am finally feeling better. My brats didn't turn out very good. Gotta tweak the recipe. Oh well. I'll try again.

You guys are so silly

Remember the kitten I rescued from the dumpster at work about this time last year? She is so pretty now. Her hair grew back on her tail and she really is a Fuzzball now. She still wont let us get too close but she stays close to the food bowl I leave out on the front porch. She will let us pet her while shes eating

Phil, Tom is playing wii golf at expert level. We really enjoy our Wii game

Yea shes pretty cool. There are about 5 long haired kittens running around too, all different colors. We don't know if they belong to fuzzball or the other black momma cat running around here. They all look after each other. Since the neighbors closed their crawlsapce door, they have all moved to our new barn for shelter

I woke up with a mission today. "put the chair over there . . ." the last words from my dream echoing in my mind. I think it's time to rearrange some furniture.

However It had the effect of making me want to finish what I started on several other things. I found the one that would be the most fun, and when I don't do it I feel so awful and worthless, so I decided "I don't care if I do it wrong, I'm gonna do it."

So I drilled a bunch of holes in my future worm bin, made a wreck of the kitchen with plastic dust everywhere and trying to tape nylon stocking to plastic with duct tape But, Heck if it hasn't been 4 months or longer and I finally finished it in like 3 hours. (I got tired of cutting out nylon and just wrapped the whole lid in the leg of the hose! ) I will find out later if I used the right drill bit size but at least it's done. Now I can put my food scraps in, and pick up my worms on the way to the recycling center.

I'm feeling better from yesterday, emotion wise, but my hips are hurting No belly dance today.

A refrigerator! Oh my, . . .how about that! that would make a pretty big bin, huh?

I have a zip lock bag full of scraps I kept on the counter to "ripen". I read that it has to be allowed to mold/breakdown a bit before the worms can start eating it, so I want to be good and ready. From now on I'm keeping scraps in the freezer. It smelled like saurkraut when I emptied it into the bin.

I'm so eager but I need to chill, cause I will be gone next week, and I don't think my mother will be too thrilled if I brought worms home, so I might get them after the holiday. Or I have to get them now, to make sure they are comfy before I leave.

I also just started a nukamiso culture, that has to be stirred everyday. (Why do i do this to myself) I WILL Have to take that one home with me over the holidays or it may do scary things. I can't even make pickles with it for another two weeks. Delayed Gratification. All the work up front, and the rewards come later.

~~~~~~~~~~
I still haven't moved that chair I dreamt about but I'm working towards it.
Chic, I hope you didn't put any scary things under My Bed. If you did, I didn't hear them, I slept like a bear last night.
Toe Crackers! HA! Poor Phil!
We are getting hammered right now! Three inches on the ground and a chance of another 3 inches yet to come. The cars are in the garage and everyone is home. All is well. Thursday we are supose to get some ice.
I found out today that the plant will be shut down the first week of January. We will be able to draw unemployment for that week. That means that I will have 3 weeks off from work with 2 weeks being paid vacation. Another deer season will be open so I am going to buy another tag.
Hey Mikki, I'm doing fine today.
I had one of those "for absolutely no reason" good cries last night ( the kind that makes you have puffy eyes the next mornin':rolleyes")
And then I took some Magnesium and dreamt that I was in control all night long. I woke up with a mission and have felt motivated and pretty good. I think I was having an emotional build up and just had to let it out.
Sorry I spewed goofy sad vibes all over everyone.
But good news . . . I still haven't moved that silly chair but . . .
I've got my worms!! cute little red wriggly things. they are!
I see you've changed your avatar to the new picture. Cool Bean!
What's happening with all that snow?
Hey Phil, did the kids get the day off?
ETA: I see they did. Sorry about the time off, but at least you get paid for most of it.
I don't think so. Night crawlers are usually about 3/8 of an inch thick and can strech out from 6 - 8 inches long. Good fish bait!
Yep, thats what we raised, nightcrawlers. We would go out at night after a rain and catch them. I can hardly stand to even hook one on a line now lol.
gotta leave for work now. My son called and said the highway is solid ice. hes in 4 wheel and still sliding ack !!! we got about 3 inches of snow and 1/4 inch of ice on top of that. Wish me a safe journey...I need all the luck I can get after the first part of the week
Trish be safe!
Yikes Phil, that's the worm that attacked Tokyo. I think I've seen Grade B movies about those things!
I counted mine, I have 39 wrigglers. Should I give them all names?
hi all,
I think that december is very depressing, weather it be the holidays, money, weather, economy, loved ones we have lost, i have been sad and overly stressed out too. and this sux, but what can we do about it? How can we fix any of it? yeah i know we can only fix ourselfs before we can try to fix other things, or anybody else?
I am struggling with incredibly selfish people, i have teens, and a DH who has his mind on his hunting, it tends to make me feel very crapy cuz x-mas is my favorite time of the year. But that is just what it is. I am sorry for the rant but this sux,
I hope everyone is safe, thanks for listnin
