I just started two days ago.
I know the best way to lose weight is to exercise and eat right. I've learned from my Nutrition class that those how exercise a lot can eat almost anything they want because their body is burning up so much fat.
so Far I know ( from asking ) that before staring / while starting an exercise program you should cleanse your system.

30mins - 1hr of exercise three times a week giving your body time to rest in between. eat plenty of fruits and veggies and make sure that you veggies vary in color like dark green ( very good) reds, yellows. etc.and drinking plenty of water with losing weight it requires alllllllllllloooooooooootttt of discipline to stick with everything. and you have to try and keep junk food out of your diet. doesn't have to be completely but not every day.

After you go through your hump it becomes habit and you lose weight and stay fit. I've done this before and lost 20 lbs. but one summer i stopped everything and just kept eating junk telling myself i was gonna start again next week and this will be the last time well a couple of month later i gained 15 lbs and realized i need to go back to the way i was before i blow up.

i know this was long but i hope it helped. if it didn't i'm sorry

Hey there sweetheart-

Do Atkins Induction for one month before moving on to pre-maintenance. Be strict. No tomatoes, onions, alcohol, go easy on the sweetening packets, and take LOTS AND LOTS of psyllium husk fiber (aka metamucil w/o flavoring)-- I personally use a product from Trader Joes here in California that's a 1/3 of the price.

The fiber therapy ALONE will make you drop about 10-15lbs of waste alone in about 2 weeks if you take it as directed, 2x/day! Will also assist in cleansing your colon. DO IT EVERY DAY!!!

I put an airborne tablet in COLD WATER, have it dissolve, then two TBSP of psyllium. Makes it taste better, gives me TONS of nutrients (esp Potassium--- EXTREMELY necessary to supplement on Atkins as you may get some mean old leg cramps during induction).

Will also make you feel better overall. I have lots more tips so hit me up anytime.

And don't eat Dreamfields "low-carb" pasta. COMPLETE bullcrap IMO (and the opinion of many others)

ps. [[[If when you move on to the next levels and find yourself in a plateau, just jump back into Induction and that will get things moving again]]]

take care and good luck!!

* LC Diet Tip: Dreamfields Pasta caused very sloooww weightloss for me. Use with caution low-carbers!

* Exercise Tip: Once you make that first step, go for the gusto and never look back! ONCE IS NEVER ENOUGH!

Any kind of fiber plugs me up and makes me feel bloated.

Metamucil has more carbs than the psyllium fiber I take from Trader Joes and is dosed in tsp compared to TBSP like mine. I don't know why this is unless it's b/c of the add'l ingredients and/or the psyllium is different than mine.

Their "sugar-free" flavored and unflavored varieties have 2 net carbs per ONE teaspoon serving. So if you're going the Metamucil route I would just do this once/daily unless you can allot for more carbs in your daily CCL.

I take 2 TBSP of mine as it only has 1 net carb, thus I can dose twice/daily which is more beneficial, plus much more fiber. And a TON more Potassium, which your body does not store and can only utilize on a daily basis.

Let me know if you have any more Q's
