why is there a warning about taking salmon oil suppliments when you are also taking blood thinners???

Is it a REAL risk?

Because Omega-3 Fats act like an anticoagulant (blood thinner). So along with your Rx blood thinner and fish oil it can be too much and you can bleed to death if your blood does not coagulant.

I would check with your doctor if your taking Rx blood thinner.
