Trish - I'll try to loose more weight by then, and make it easier on ya lugging me around! I appreciate the straw! DD wants to know if she can hide out as well.

Metqa - I think I will defer the cookie dough testing to you. I am not so sure about the pork rinds at all. Ham flavored cookies? Now that squash, I had mine swimming in marinara sauce to cover the taste! I think I just don't care for the taste of that thing. I don't know what I'll do if I have a bumper crop! Want some squash? Hey, I can send you my milk thistles, and you can figure out how to freeze dry (or whatever they do) them! You'll be rich, 'cuz I gotta lot! I think they are even organic!

Mikki - I agree with Chic! I HATE the smell of oil and greese! You can't get it off your hands, no matter what you do. It reminds me of my days in the tobacco fields. A person can't get tobacco muck off either! You don't mind that, but you don't want a little earth under the nails? That is so funny! I admit, I wear gloves in the garden.

Hey everybody!

Congrats on getting all the stuff you need for your delicious shakes, Trisha!

Justachic, you look awesome in your outfit with your boxing gloves and all! I wouldn't mess with ya if I saw you coming down the street.

I like the egg cremes, too! I love the food network and I saw that if there is salmonella it'll be on the outside of the egg. So if you put a couple tablespoons of vinegar in a bowl of water and let the eggs sit in the mixture for a few minutes, rinse and dry, you have no worries when using raw eggs.

I use the egg cremes to hide my coconut oil (hate the taste! :P ) and it works a charm. I can't use it as a meal replacement, however, as it doesn't fill me. No worries, I eat whenever I'm hungry anyways! So I'll keep it!

Also, I'm back into the 220s, folks! 229.0 today! What's more is I usually don't hit my low for the week until the day before my high carb day; friday. Can't wait to see if some more sheds off by then. Been eating like a horse, too, lately! Metabolism must be through the roof cuz it's like I'm hungry alllllll the time!

Thanks Denise! Hey....sounds like you are doing well. Don't you find that trying to get your metabolism intune with how much you eat becomes a definite science? I was eating quite a bit with some unexcused cheat days and found that I was still able to shed, but then again I'm a tornado with all my activities. Looking fwd to hitting the gym today.

ADLMA....I'm still gonna pray for you on that morning during your surgery time even if I have to set an alarm. You'll be fine!

Chic - Aaauuuhhh, you make me cry. How sweet of you to think of me like that. I truly truly appreciate it. For some reason, I am very afraid of this surgery. Maybe being only on of about 1,000 people so far that has had it done? Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Swing - Hey girl! I must have missed it. Would you mind posting or telling where you posted your fabulous drink? Thank you. All I can say is, you must be doing a lot right. I still can't get over those photos! I bet there have been even more great changes! You know? I thougth eggs were supposed to be washed in a vinegar soulution anyway. . .huuuummm. I think I must not fear salmanella any way, again, I am a cookie dough queen! It makes sense that it's on the outside, if you know what I mean. Also, children get salmanella from petting zoos. I am a lot more afraid of that than eggs!

Momof2 - I'm sorry to hear about your little plants. If you wanna try again, fill your quart spray bottle with clear water and add 2 Tablespoons of 3% peroxide and use that to mist your seeds and seedlings. They love it(seeds need oxygen to germinate) and it keeps nasty stuff away(wilt and dampening off) till they get bigger. good luck hope you get some herbs and flowers soon.

I really laughed out loud when I read this. I can't keep my hands out of dirt. I got so fed up with my spade that I tossed it aside and used my hands and fingers to dig all of the planting holes. My nails are flat like little shovels anyway, no point in painting them, they'd look like the tips of those craft popsicle sticks! I have to scrub for 5 min just to get it all out. See this is why I could never work in food service

LOL that is a riot!!! so you have 10 little spades? well thats cool u can make use of them that way, and as i am typing i am *applying lotion* just with the thought of dirt on my hands!!!!!

Yeah well you oughtta read about the time I mistook my cookie-dough-balls for meatballs and made leftover meatball - veggie soup with 'em. Good reason to LABEL EVERYTHING in the freezer. I don't know if the Postal Service will deliver spaghetti squash. Something about liquid containing packages. That thing has got some questionable innards! What would it look like on X-ray?
Is milk thistle the tall plant that leaks white stuff when you knock it over? I dunno, those things are pretty scary looking. One grew almost 7 feet tall near our driveway! Maybe you could collect the juice and market it as low-carb Thistle Milk.

Ugh, Mom is coming to visit, and the apartment is a wreck and I've got job training all week. I oughtta go get ready... Guess I'll be to a stash and dash tomorrow! Wish me Endurance!

Just funnin' with ya Mikki! I was serious about the dry hands thing though. I remember when I was kid playing in the mud and the mud would dry up during play. That feeling really is icky and itchy! Funny how things stick out in our memory from childhood. I can't stand the smell of some shampoos becuz it reminds me of getting it in my eye in the bath as a child! Ivory soap is another!

So about 1 month on combo with no weight loss yet. Not discouraged because I've not been all that good with the diet. Wife started combo with me so maybe better now that we are both doing it.

Heyyyyy ADLMA! It's like a little shot glass of nutrition; really packs a punch. Here it is:

1 to 1.5 ounces of water
a scoop of supreme greens (it's a tiny little scooper that comes with the tub)
a scoop of dark cocoa powder (use the same tiny little scooper from the greens)
half a scoop of chocolate protein powder (the scooper in the prot powder tub. I use the stuff made by the zero carb people)
1 to 2 tablespoons of cream ( actually use organic half and half. 2 Tablespoons is only 1 gram carb)

Only thing that has carbs in these amounts is the cream so I count the whole shake as 2 grams. I often use it as a mini meal replacement or a pre-workout shake. Mixes with a fork and then I pour it over ice. Tastes divine! Well, after your body is alkaline it tastes divine. LOL The supreme greens are really neat that way. Once you drink them, you'll know if your body is acidic because the greens drink will taste very bitter. But once your body becomes alkaline the greens drink will have the most delicious taste. I can't explain it.. it's yummy! Sometimes I blend the above with an egg, some coconut oil and some ice cubes with a dash of cinnamon. :licks lips: think i'll have one of those today!

Agreed, Justachic! Once I'm in tune and everything is clicking I can just FEEL it! I've even increased my calories; I'm eating closer to maintainance cals this month trying to put on some muscle and give my body a break from dieting. And my body has decided to reward me with a 1.5 pound loss!! I'll take it!

Metqa - You are funny! Not only do the milk thistles look frightening, they feel frightening! They have prickles all over them. The flowers are somewhat attractive. The birds do appreciate them. Can you just picture your postal carrier delivering a bundle of milk thistle to your door? What a hoot! I wish you well on the pre-mom clean up!

Swing - Will the greens make one alkaline (sp?). I will croak if I hate the taste! I do want to try it though. Were does one acquire the greens? WTG on the weight loss!!!! You are very sharp and know exactly what you are doing! You look a lot lighter than the 220's (I think that is what you had said).

Yep, the greens will make you alkaline within a couple days. It's sold all over the net but I got mine here: SupremeGreens.Com - Health Products I happened to catch it on sale and got it for 20 bucks a tub, which is an absolute steal. I've seen it sold online for as much as 38 per tub. I believe Lisabinil uses Magma greens and she says it's awesome! You can get that right in your local vitamin shoppe. The ingredient lists look similar. The magma, however, has a minty taste and the supreme greens is just green. I prefer the unflavored, so I go that route. I like to add it to stuff and make my own flavors.

Thank you much for the congrats. I get that a bunch! And I'm actually smaller than most people my weight. Ha! I'm even smaller than my own self when I was this weight in the past! hahaha It's because the muscle I'm pouring on. I work hard in the gym to increase muscle mass so my metabolism remains high. When I starteed I had 135 pounds of stuff other than fat on my body. I'd like to get that number to around 145 while decreasing my overall bodyfat. That muscle adds shape to the overlying fat! It's also what allows those that do Callanetics to remain the same weight or even gain weight while pulling in one or two dress sizes. Oh yeah, muscle is a good thing...

Metqu - Do you think you should test the greens for me? It was only a tiny mistake with the cookie dough/meat ball incident.

Thank you all! I will try it!!

If you filed and had your tax return deposited directly to your bank, then you should have gotten the stim-pak last week. Otherwise t'would come by snail-mail, which could take a couple of weeks. I accidentally sent it to my saving account, so I couldn't find it immediately till I checked my balances.

Good luck
