MG - I am glad you are feeling better! That counts for everything! The weight will adjust with time. The important thing is that you feel better. I am not so sure scales tell the real truth anyway! I don't go near the things. I rely on the measure tape!

MG - do you see a change now that you added the Acetyl - L Canitine? I am waiting around to get my tummy striaght before I continue the combo or begin the Canitine. Everything just seems to sit there, until uh well, anyway, it does not hit my system, so it seems a waist of the ole chang-chang. Meanwhile, I exercise like a little nut. Hey, its working for Mikki!

Hi to all!
Thanks a bunch!!! I am proud, and i cant believe that all of this weight came off in 7 1/2 months!!! That is the best part!!! Not too much more to go, but the whole eating thing i have been extremely strict with! Like i said on friday i did cheat... ( mcdonalds) i couldent help it... OMG it was good, but that was the only meal i have cheated with, i figures that it is my lil reward! My belly still has the jigglypuff, but it too is slowly dimishing too!!!

Have a great day!!! BBL

LOL... yeah those precious baby's!!! myself and my DD love em....My DH was very weird about the combo when i first started it.... Then he started to come around about turkey day when he realized that i had lost 8 lbs in 2weeks period of time. So that helped. but the funny thing is there are 7 people that i work with that i have gotten them started on this combo also.... yup 4 of them are men. then my hairdresser called and she is on it, along with 3 of my girlfriends!!! It is deffinatly going to be a change when i get to where i want to be at and learn how to maintain. It will be nice to not to have to eat these "Horse" pills anymore!!! The maintenance thing is kinda scarry to me, but i will learn how to maintain and add carbs back into my life with out gaining weight! I just would like to know how many carbs i should be eating once i get there.

How are you feeling???

I will BBL

Mikki - Thank you for asking. That was very sweet of you. I feel sick right now. There is a very fine line between being too full (which is about 1/2 cup of any food) and being too empty believe it or not. Right now, I think I got too empty. I am fixing something now, and I hope it gets in me in time. This is a very odd situation. I hope to return to the combo, once the surgery is complete. (Assuming I don't chicken out before that date arrives.) It is a whole life change, no micro-wave oven, being careful entering and exiting stores for security devices, and such. . .I don't know.

I am sure you will hit your stride, just like you did while you were watching your carbs. I sure don't know how many carbs you can add it. I don't think I will ever reach that point. Ha ha ha! I will say, the good clean carbs, like sunflower seeds and nuts, whole grains, and such are fine to introuce in, as they are the carbs your body needs. Huuummm, I think I am no help in the matter.

Hey Mikki....I decided to cycle off the combo this last week and I've noticed that I'm down another 2 lbs. I am not sure if it's becuz I'm losing MM or what. This last week has been difficult for me to keep my protein levels up so I'm thinking that's what it is. Not really sure if I want to keep my previous weight goal or keep my weight up and go for more muscle definition. Anyway, I think taking in more carbs at this stage won't hurt you at all! Try it, you can always cut back.

LOL you are still dropping fast girl!!! You look awsome! Well i think the muscle deffinition looks great, but on the other hand, i like the *stick* look too. LMAO Thanks for the info, maybe the start of next week i will try to add back more carbs.. That is going to be very difficult for me to do with out the guilt feeling.. Oh yeah, i have that *metal* taste again, i thought i was done with that ketosis. SHeesh ill never forget when i first encountered ketosis, ( i have my tongue pierced) i took my tongue ring out thinkin the combo was ~meltin my ring~ what a ding bat huh? ok i will check back in a bit......

Mikki - Don't forget pumpkin seeds, walnuts, and such, not to mention nut butters (not peanut). They have not set the date yet, as my surgeon is on vacation for the next 3 weeks. I am having a gastro-pace maker implanted. Of all nutty things, the part about the battery just under the skin is just bugging me in a big way. I know! I am a silly girl!

I did drop inches the first time I took the combo but my weight loss stalled out.

Lisa, did your weight loss begin again when you quit cla?

Hey everybody! I am on the mend now, can't wait to get back to my old self! Surgery went very well, no pain in my leg, some pain in lower back from incision-but I feel GOOD! I know I can't push it, but I don't see how recovery can be 6-8 weeks

Jimz - I am so happy your surgery went well. Back pain is an awful thing to live with! I know it may seem like you are doing great and can do things, but try to do exactly what the doctor says. I hope you are all mended in no time!!!
