Hey everyone! Life has been crazy and I've been up and down with this virus and my MIL got out of the hospital on Friday and was staying here until yesterday until she got her strength back. Then today we took her to her doctor's appt. and back home and made her a late lunch, washed her dishes and then left to come home and make dinner. So it has been crazy around here.

Trisha - Too bad you are going to Tennessee a week after we will be in Nashville. We drive up to IUP on Saturday, which is about a 3 hour drive each way and get the youngest DD's stuff and drive back. Then we leave for TN.

Oh, and I like your truck.

Mikki - Sorry you got sunburned. I hope the aloe helps. Awesome that you can change the oil in your truck!

Phil - I was just saying to my DH that Mikki is a man's kind of woman and then I scrolled down and saw what you wrote!

LOL Sure NP Im glad i can help. I found that the hardest part is getting the right tools!!! lets see is it a 9/16 wrench? or 3/4 inch? LOL The bad thing is if i get the oil on my hands OMG i get itchy! must be allergic to it. But where i work, if i get engine oil on my hands here at work it dosent bother me a bit so ok ill check back in a bit....

Hey you CLA/GLAers!!! I've been on and off the combo, mostly off, but I've been finally able to take it consistently...thanks TOTALLY to the liquid CLA! It's so much easier to swallow a 1/2 T, even though it is , with 4 caps of borage oil than taking 8 pills total!

What I need to know from those of you who take the liquid is this: is it ok to store it in the fridge?! I've been keeping it there because it's so much easier to swallow cold but I'll give it up if the cool temp. is causing any decreased effect AND, are 2 caps of the Now Borage Oil as sufficient as 4 caps of some other brands? I've been taking four, just because that's what I've been used to the other rounds of the combo, but I've heard some stuff on the boards about the Now brand being more potent.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance, I appreciate your wisdom!

Shelby, I stored my extra bottle in the fridge until I needed it when I was taking the liquid and it didnt seem to hurt anything. I never thought about cold hurting it. I wouldnt think so, but maybe someone else knows for sure. About the Borage, I took the Now brand because it had the highest content of gla I could find. Look on the back of the bottles for the "actual" gla content on what you have.

We are taking mom on an 8 day Mothers Day adventure. We are starting out at Ceasers in Indiana for 2 nights, then to Cherokee NC, then off to the cabin at Brothers Cove in the smokies. We plan to do lots of hiking while we are there. I pray it doesnt rain the whole trip like it did last time we went. The view from our cabin looks awesome !!! We all need this vacation really bad !!!
