You guys are a bunch of characters!

Just wanted to check in and let you all know that my plan is going really well. My body is transforming beautifully and I really feel great in everything I wear! I bought a few dresses last week, all 14's! Well, one is a 12! Everything is firming up and the important parts are slimming down.

My bf is really super duper happy because he says my butt looks bigger . Even though I'm smaller. The reason being that my booty is nearly the same size while the fat on my stomach, back and thighs diminishes. It's glorious! Yesterday he told me I'm a "head turner"

My plans are to continue building muscle while losing bodyfat. It's never been so easy to do this as on the Anabolic Diet. I continue to take the combo along with a few other supplements. Life is grand!

EEEEEEKKKKK !! Phils gonna start singing ??? ok ok I'll post !! haha What is egg cream??

I needed to get away from the boards for awhile to try to get my s*** together and get back on plan. I forgot what keeps me going was the people on this thread, so I am back. With the warmer weather (80 some days ) I'm going to be outside alot more working in the yard and getting some walking in, and start biking. What I really need to do is work on a clean eating plan. I get so burned out on LC foods.

Retro, I have read that the Tonalin brand is the best. Thats what I take when I am actually doing things right.

The other version of the liquid cla is called ThinFat. Its very oily, no flavor so in my opinion, its the same as the liquid cla.

chic, nothing fun here on my 1 day off. Its been a really stressful time at work. My BP is usually perfect but if I had my BP taken this week I probably would have been admitted to the ER lol

Hi Eric, welcome to the thread.

Denise, your doing great !!! I have the supreme greens saved on ebay and I'm going to order it soon. Thank you so much for all your support

I finally took a pic of our new truck. We LOVE It !!!

Congrats Denise. I like the sound of your guy! let the compliments ROLL IN!

I just realized I've forgotten to take my CLA so I'm gonna take it after posting.

I'm really excited about silly stuff. I'm on my third day of my barefoot experiment. I've been working on my garden and I have to keep walking across the concrete and the asphalt to get around to it. Then I have to step on all the pine straw and leaves from last year, and through the puddle of water in the street in front of it. I nearly slipped in the kitchen from not realizing I had wet feet. My legs aren't horrible tired yet like yesterday at work. Yet. . .

Plus it just finished raining and I think I've got maybe 20 Gallons of water collected!!!!

Finally came in, clothes soaked, and rinsed my feet off and slathered on some coconut oil. My feet feel great despite all the rough ground and puddles. I think I'm gonna invite BF over for a foot scrub and C.O. foot massage so he can share the sensation!

BTW-I may have missed it, but what is the purpose of the barefoot experiment?

TRISH! You're back I think you are what this thread has really been missing! I know we've really missed you!
Egg creams are yummy! There are MANY variations, just do a search. I had one for breakfast & lunch.
2 eggs
1 tbsp coconut oil melted in 12 oz chocolate/caramel chai tea
4 tbsp heavy cream
2 squirts sf vanilla davincis
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 small banana-won't do that again, although it tastes yummy, it adds 24 carbs
Threw it all in the blender-made 2 large coffee mugs full. Had one for breakfast and one warmed up for lunch.

Good afternoon y'all!

Good to see everyone posting again! Hi to everyone!!

Denise:
Whooo hoooo! Losing it in the right places and accentuating your G-d-given talents. Life IS good!

I'm still taking the combo and still doing Callanetics as I can (thanks to Marsha and Lisa) and I'm loving Callanetics. It really sculpts the body! As soon as Im run out, I'm stopping the Combo and switching to Coconut oil.

Today our family is resting because we've been going 90 miles per hour preparing for our Passover seder we had last night. It was awesome and I did all the whole-grain baking (non-leavened) and worked all day yesterday setting up, so today, the littlest one (8) and I are lying in my big, comfy Sleep Number bed and watching cartoons. (Well, she's watching Lilo and Stich and I'm on the laptop!).

A friend's father blessed us with a big venison roast so I'm defrosting it today, I'll soak it in salt water overnight and then crockpot it tomorrow.

What's going on with everyone? What are you cooking, eating etc?

Thank you Phil! I appreciate the suggestion, but we keep Biblical Kosher, so we don't eat pork (including bacon.)
I think I have decided to soak the venison in milk instead of brining it.

MG, I LOVE venison roast !!! *drools*

Kathy, We decided I would start driving Toms Toyota Corolla to work because of the gas prices. I dont like getting all that lime on the truck anyway and the Toyota is so much easier to wash and gets 30-40 mpg !!

We're going to Tumbleweed to eat now, be back later. Looking forward to some grilled Tilipia and grilled veggies

Thanks for the welcome back, I missed all of you !

TRISHA!!!!! Missed ya lots gal pal! Niceeeeeeeeeeeee truck. I think there is a few of us truck girls here huh? My very first vehicle was a toyota 4x4 and I thought it was soooo cool. Have always had a truck, be it a chevy or ford since then. Anyway you need to take care of youself and NOT let the stress take over you. Best way to conquer stress is thru some form of cardio. Don't worry, I won't be getting on my soap box about exercise, promise.....BUT yesterday I felt like the biggest beeotch this side of Texas so I did a bootcamp class at my gym and felt 100% better on my return.
Hey, is Tumbleweed a steak house??? Sounds like you are eating well.

Man, I keep hearing about this egg cream business, I might have to try it. When you say the C.O. is melted in 12 oz Chocolate, do you mean like hot chocolate, I don't have chai tea. I 've got earl grey?

Um, the Barefoot Experiment is me being in major weird mode again. I don't know where I got turned onto it but I've been convinced that wearing shoes is evil and causes a host of problems in posture, joints and the feet itself. And after being reassured that going barefoot is NOT illegal, except when operating a bicycle or motorcycle and where common sense dictates, I decided to see how it would be to go barefoot all day. I went to work, and worked double shift in my soleless thongs (SANDLES! not the panties!) and no one seemed to notice, or if they did they just looked at my feet and said nothing. Course I donned my earth shoes when the boss man came 'round. Too much free thinking can be detrimental to some.

The experiment part for me is will my feet feel as bad at the end of the day as when I wear my tennis shoes, and so far the answer is no, they actually feel better. My legs feel like they've worked out but my soles don't hurt, and my feet don't hurt. I will see how far I can go with this, within reason, I can't go to peoples homes on business without shoes, but at home or out shopping, I think I might try this some more.

BTW, There are no laws (in Georgia) that say that shoes must be worn in a establishment or even restaraunts and any signs saying so must be removed or changed to reflect that it is store policy not law, nor health dept regulation. How 'bout that?

Facts about going barefoot

metqa, Thanks !! It rides soooo nice !! and its got Onstar which we will try out on or Tennessee Hiking trip may 13-19 !! I'm a barefoot gal myself. I even used to ride my horses barefoot. I may not walk on the beach this year barefoot again though. I am finally over the pain from the plantar fasciitis I got last april on St. Petes beach. Man that hurt !!!

Nope, not hot chocolate, it's a celestial seasonings tea-chocolate caramel chai tea-I don't like it by itself, but in the egg cream it's yummy.
If you go to any of the egg cream threads you will find MANY different ways to make this. You can make it with coffee, tea, jello, crystal light, diet soda-LOTS if recipes to try out!!

WB Trish!!!! This thread has been missing you !!! Love the truck!

We tried the egg cream for dil, didnt think she would drink it because of the raw egg, but she loved it said it tasted just like a cappacino.

Have you ever coated the vension in Worcestershire Sauce? Love it. We used to take steak wrap with bacon like a filet and marinade in Worcestershire, Awesome!!! But I have to admit eating the beef sticks with jal peppers and cheese bet all of it!!

Bare foot experiment I love it !! When I was young had to wear corrective shoes, think the only thing the corrected was my love for shoes LOL . I think my parents told me to get my shoes on more then anything else all of my life and I am still that way. If I can do without them I will !!

I have got 9 more pounds to onelander!! Not setting a date to have it off by , have learned my lesson there, Just keep doing what I have been doing!! I feel great about me inside and out! Turning 42 isnt so bad when you have lost that many pounds , although I am up to a 45 pound loss as of yesterday!! Will have to start planning my 50lbs party lol !!

You all take care and keep up the good work!!
Have a wonderful day

And here are pics of me back into my skinny jeans! I'm pretty much the same size and weight as in my avatar; it's just that the avatar was the last time I got to about this weight. And those below are me as of today!

I think the best introductions there are about the Anabolic diet are a couple articles. The first I recommend is by Jen Heath. Google "anabolic diet lifestyle" and you should get it. It'll come up under the heading "Muscle with attitude".

The next I recommend is this one: The Anabolic Diet For Women | StrongLifts.com

Lastly, there's a part I and part II called "eat like a man" on t nation. It's geared towards men, but it's a great overview of the program. Plus he talks about his results over the period of time that he followed the plan.

There's an ebook sold on Dr Mauro's web site. And I saw a free posted book of the anabolic diet online. I'll find it, come back and post the link!
