Please allow me to vent

I hope you don't mind me venting here.

Mar 01/ Off topic:
DBF has been helping out a particular neighbor this year, snowplowing his driveway many times over (10-12 X's) . Well DBF had to work "days" that weekend (3 days) so of course he hadn't had a chance to plow ours. I would have loved to shovel it, but can't with my bad hip & knees.

I noticed that afternoon our neighbor had someone over there plowing out his drive. I was soooo angry when I looked out later & that ingrate never had his friend do ours!!! After all the times DBF helped him out.
DBF says "that's it!" he won't be doing the guy anymore favors ..period.

Today:
Well, I'm sure our neighbors wishing now he'd helped us out with our drive a week ago.... LOL I noticed him out there by himself "shoveling" his drive, after trying to drive his small car out & getting stuck.
I don't usually find this sort of thing amusing....I figure God &/or/ mother nature/or/ fate thought it would be.

You wouldn't believe the amount of snow we've gotten here in the past 24hrs.... 30cm (12 inches) so far, with another 15cm(6 in.) due today.... UGH!!!
We already had small mountains of snow that hadn't melted yet, then the storm on Mar 01. Now this !! Ugh!!

Oh well, hopefully it will melt down over the next 2-3wks.
Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere today..just have to catch up on everything around here.

Thank you for allowing me to vent

Like Earl says don't mess with Karma! I sure am glad somebody else besides us is getting bombed for once. Our townships are running out of road salt and that rarely happens here.

I know what you mean. We've seen a great deal more snow this year than in recent past years. Usually all or most of it melts, but not this year.

I gather you're in or around Chicago area?
I'm further up North in Ontario, Canada.
Nice to meet you

I'm REALLY hoping that both our snowfalls begin to melt within the next 2-3 wks, we're all tired of it, how about you ?

The only bright side I can see about the large amounts of snow is that come summer it should have risen the water tables a fair bit.....No water shortages.
I've just got to find a bright side to this somehow lol

Yup burbs of Chicago. We are sooo tired and depressed with all this snow this year. It was good to see the ground again after some of it melted.

Just finished my 9th hour of Callanetics! I was able to do all the exercises! I am really feeling it in my abs I think I should get extra credit because one of my kitties tried to take a nap on moms belly while she was doing the stomach exercises! It was so funny and she just would not get off-my husband almost took pics. I am in major ugy disgusting jigglypuff mode. My tummy & abdomen look so gross-I hope I whoosh soon to get rid of the ugly fat breaking up!

Hi all,
I as down another lb today with a total of 4 lbs this week, and I was in moderate ketosis. I am feeling very encouraged and just feeling better in general.

OMGoodness, we've had tons of snow this year too, it's just finally melted. We had snow on the ground from the beginning of Dec until the end of February. It's nice to see our yard again. We never have snow like that. Hopefully it' gone for the year now. I'm sorry you guys still have to deal with it.

Mikki~ what a dirty trick! You should make a sign and put it where you cheese was that says "who moved my cheese" ? Remember the book...?

What is a refeed?
You all have a great night and I'll check in tomorrow.

Mikki didn't you say there were co-workers doing the "lowfat diets" at your place of work??? Perhaps I'm not remembering correctly.
If I am...... I think we've found a group of suspects there.

VERY SAD, when they have to stoop soooooo low as to steal your cheese

Jilly- Congrats on melting WITH the snow

Mikki- Maybe if you start laying the cheese on top of the .44 mag??? Then they may get the hint.

I am down to 160lb today
So excited to say goodbye to the 160's!!!!!! Maybe tomorrow.....

My menu for today is-

B- BET on oopsies(finally got around to making some)

L- Spaghetti Squash with meat sauce and parm

D- Italian turkey sausage and brussel sprouts

Snacks will be cheese and cherry essence prunes probably!
