Trish - The scales needs only a temporary pardon, as it is still fibbin'! I honestly think you are lighter than that. Trish, you can also have fruit for breakfast once a week, in the morning.

Phil, the kinds of things you were doing was my way of life on layovers for many, many years. I LOVED that kind of living and I actually enjoy crowds. Sounds like you did really well. How did you like Portillo's hotdogs??? Did you try any stuffed pizza anywhere? Yummmmmy! DH and I would go down to Rush St and other areas and just sit around and people watch. Christmas time is beautiful there too. The store windows are amazing. I'm really glad you got a taste of Chicago! We need to get back there.

I am in Schaumburg as we speak Chic! I work at the Schaumburg Corporate Center-small world!

Nice to see you all again

Trisha I hear you about the scale. Sometimes I'd swear there's an evil minded devil in mine I finally put it away , it was having to large an effect on my moods for the day, week, etc.
I love the "bath island is sinking" I never thought of mine as an Island, more like a mountain in the pacific

This refeed day is very difficult for me. I feel guilty eating good foods but adding in the extra carbs. I really need a vacation retreat.

WOE: anything that will stay down!
hi all, this is my first post although i've been lurking for a couple weeks now. i have read alot of the posts on the cla/gla combo and thought i'd give it a try. i just got my order in from netrition and have read the first post in this thread regarding dosage, but i just want to make sure i got it right before taking. my cla is from horizon (?) and says tonalin 1000. am i right that i take 5 of these daily? the borage oil is from now and i'm figuring 4 of these. i take these all at once right before or with a meal correct? these pills are HUGE!!! are there other brands out there that are smaller or maybe more concentrated? i'll get used to it if i have to but these things are sitting on the counter as i type and man, i'm not looking forward to having to swallow these babies LOL.
and one more thing. am i supposed to take this combo for X amount of time and lay off for a bit, or is it an ongoing thing? the answer is probably in here somewhere but there's so many posts it's hard to go through them all.
thanks in advance for any help/advise you have. i've already lost close to 20lbs but the supplement thing is new to me and i'm clueless.

LOL. I didn't have a hotdog nor did I have pizza. I ate a bacon cheeseburger and fries at Portillo's. A couple guys had a full rack of ribs. As good as they sound, I wasn't going to pay 20 bucks for them. I'm cheap. We ran out of time so I never got the chance to experience Gino's East. I was hopeing to fit them in later that night but never made it. I sure wanted to though. I hope to go to a tool show in Chicago in September so maybe then.

With so many here with roots in Chicago we all ought to meet there some time.

I got to go figure out what's for dinner. All this talk about food has made me a wee bit hungry. I need to go workout to. This might be interesting since I pulled something in my shoulder when I was streching Saturday at Moody.

kimbo, welcome to the thread. Congrats on the 20 lb loss so far. Check the back of the bottle for the actual cla content and go from there. you need 3400mg cla a day. The front content is also fillers. You can take them all at once or split them up and you do not have to cycle off like with some other stacks. I dont know of any gla that is more concentrated. maybe someone else does

Michele, you should come here. Its 68 today !!! Heavy rain and flood watch out tonight and tomorrow though

Marsha, I cant tell you what visual I get when I hear refeed lol Just sounds yucky lol

Phil, hope that shoulder is ok

Time for me to go to work again, seeya all tomorrow !!!

Good evening peeps!!

I'm glad to have found y'all again. I kinda got lost.

MARSHA!! WOWSERS!! Those pics are awesome! WOWOWOWOWOW!
And you only lost inches, not weight?? Amazing. I wanna be like you!

Here's the song from Jungle Book which sings my sentiments:
Oh, oobee doo
I wanna be like you
I wanna walk like you
Talk like you, too
You'll see it's true
An ape like me
Can learn to be human too

Hey all!

CHICAGO!
Our eldest son lives and works in Chicago. I've never been. I'd love to visit him there. He spends most of his off-time in ChinaTown.

Phil

Hey Diana, you;re one of us now hon!

Metqa: I'm so sorry about your gardening stuff. I pray it gets recovered.

Lisa and Marsha:
What would you recommend for me (OUT OF SHAPE and FIBRO AND BIGGGGG BELLY) for which Callanetics to start with? Is the 10/10 for the tummy? What about the AM/PM one or the Quick Stomach?

Does the 10/10 target the tummy?

Hi to everyone! Hugs and hugs!

Thank you MG Yep inches only weight still the same lol. I even had someone tell me today how skinny I was getting. Lady I work with daughter is a trainer and she said im built like her that i muscle quick. So I hope all this fat turns to muscle lol. She said she is 165 and wears a 4. So hey Im all down with that lol.

MG_ I would start with either 10 in 10 or Callanetics Evolution. The eveo one has beginner moves and intermediate as well as advanced. And they all work on tummy. She uses all muscles but upper body like arms in there.

harrummmmpf.

I'm 175 and STILL in an 18 and my boobs are gone. (Sorry guys). My belly and back carry all the weight. But, I'm short and stocky.

I have a hard time thinking someone weighs 165 and is in a size 4, unless they are really, really tall.

So Marsha,

What a good Callanetics DVD for me and one that targets the BELLY? Does the 10/10? (I can only buy one.)

And what are zebras?

A Hot Wheels volkswagen that is.

Well mine just shrank from 42 d to 38d lol. The trainer girl is built like me a bulldog. Broad shoulders and thins out toward hips lol.

MG- I would say 10 in 10. It targets all lower body including abs. Zebras she ws referring to is leg cramps like charlie horses.

Hiya guys!
Hope everyone is doing well tonight!
I am going to bed early...thanks TOM
I did my Callan which is good since I didn't "feel" up to it this morning, but made myself do it. I HAVE to get DH to take pics before I keep doing it and have no "befores" Probably tonight and then I will wait for another 10 workouts and take a pic after every 10 hours I think??

For the record I am 161.5lbs(prior to TOM) and fit an 8 and a tight 6 I told DH I would just love if Callan toned up all my jigglies even if I stay the same weight I want to have an athletic look not an anorexic look, but that's just me

I am also pleased as I worried that my reduced boobies would go down after more weight loss, but hasn't happened, they just look bigger now that I am smaller which is great! I love the effects of the reduction I had except the scars, but they are fading quickly!!

Phil- Congrats on being able to bench press a car...even hot wheels

MG- How are you???? I LOVE Jungle Book!! Bought it on DVD for DS, he thinks it's great too!!

Trisha- Hope you have a good night at work!

Chic- I am going back to running as my cardio...at least 2-3 times a week I miss it and the Callan Cardio is great, but I HATE doing videos all of the time and it's getting gorgeous out here!

Jimzgrl- i actually wish my breasts would have gone with my weight loss, but to no avail So
