For those who have never heard of John Waller-listen to this one-brings tears to my eyes-

Just take the spaces out
I saw Casting Crowns a few years ago when thay were just starting out. They were great. You will love it! I took my wife to see Mercy Me and Audio A a little over a year ago for her birthday. They were good as well. The best one I saw was Newsboys at Promise Keepers in 2004. I have also seen Toby Mac (high energy concert!!!) Kutless, Hawk Nelson, and Stellar Kart. Bruce Carroll did the praise and worship at Walk Worthy Saturday. He was good!

LOL! Thanks!

By the way, I saw the Newsboys last year with Kutless and Stellar Kart. It was the best concert I had seen in years! And that includes secular concerts too!
I missed Mercy Me, Casting Crowns and Jeremy Camp!

DH wanted to see Jeremy camp really bad. When I tried to get tickets through TicketMaster, they give you only so much time to order them online. If you don't hurry, you have to start all over again.

Needless to say, I didn't order them on time. . .twice!

Ah,there'll be other times!

You're going to have a blast!

I have never been in Chicago, never been on or in a subway, and I have never seen or rode on the "L" before. I killed three birds with one stone Friday afternoon. Another guy and I were told to keep our mouths shut when we got on the subway. The "L" was a great way to see the city. It was pretty cool to see all the stuff that I have seen on T.V. in real life...like the river that they dye bright green for St. Patricks Day the Sears tower and the Hancock building. U.S. Cellular field (White Sox ball field) and Soldier field(Chicago Bears) was cool to see. We didn't make it to Wrigly Field but that's the Cubs. I'm a Cardnials fan!!! We stood outside of some ABC news station and watched evening news cast while it was being aired. I stood on the side walk and looked up and then looked straight ahead. Buildings, and tall ones at that as far as I can see. Man I was out of my element! I was woke up in the middle of the night by a fire truck screaming down the road with its horns and sirens wailing!

The conference was AWESOME. The sound of 2000 men singing is just mind blowing. I tend to get a bit nervous in crowds so I sat at the back of the auditorium in case I had to bail out into a room with less people. My group was in the front 2 rows. As the place filled up a group of several white and black men sat in the row that I was in. After the conference started the first speaker ask us all to stand and meet someone we didn't know. So introduced my self to a couple people around me and ask them where y'all from from. They were from the Chicago area. I told them I was from S.E. Iowa and that I had never been in Chacago before. "You guys have buildings like we have corn fields...as far as the eyes could see." They laughed. We visited quite a bit during the conference. I had met some really cool new friends. These guys could sing too!!! Not only that...they got into their praise and worship! It was AWESOME to hang around with these guys for a few hours!! I think the next time I go to one of these conferences, I'll sit with strangers.

Anyway, I got home late last night. My WOE was NOT LC. Man I was in Chicago and I was going to enjoy the food! I am starting back to LC tomorrow and resume my weight training.

Phil you were in my stomping grounds! I live in the burbs of Chicago. Did you have deep dish pizza and Italian beef?

No I did not. We were going to go to Gino's East but never made it. We ended up eating at Portillo's Friday night. I found out Saturday morning that the restaurant at the hotel was Pizzria uno. I was wanting to try Chicago style pizza. Guess I have to go back sometime! That would be fine though. I like the architecture and history of Chicago.

My new goals for March-continue with 10 in 10 Callanetics, learn Cardio Callanetics and try a carb cycling program with Marsha to shake things up. I will concentrate on getting stonger and more toned and to h%ll with the darn scale-I will stop obsessing over it. I will do 3 days of good lc eating and on the fourth day have a refeed day. I will eat healthy whole grain bread, oats, quinoa, fruits and/or beans if I choose. I will not eat sugar or graze on junk foods but will allow myself a piece of pizza if I choose. I will not allow sugar or processed junk back in my diet BUT I will not stress out over eating a healthy banana or some oatmeal. I will continue my vitamins & supplements (including the GLA). I WILL STOP STRESSING OVER MY WEIGHT AND CONCENTRATE ON GETTING HEALTHY! I choose not to give myself an eating disorder and restrict myself so severely anymore.

Finished my 3rd workout of the day. Did a 1hr "Walk Away the Pounds" video. Gives me about 3.5 hrs total today.

Phil glad you had fun in Chicago which is my home town. You have me longing for a trip back.

Lisabinil thanks for mentioning the Chicago Style pizza as now for sure I'll be flying in for a visit. Hopefully the Giordano's is still right by Midway. We have Pizzaria Uno here but its not the same a Giordano's or Gino's.

Man I was ready to get out of the concrete jungle and back to the small town. I did enjoy the rich history and the architecture of Chicago. I will go back someday to explore Chicago more. I hope you get back their soon. It's always nice to get back home.

Good Morning everyone!

Hope you all have a fantastic day.

I was wondering if I could purchase those items locally if I can find them. I'd like to buy them as soon as possible and start taking them.

I think that's what I'll do! I just talked myself into it!!!
