My men have to be taller then me (5'10") and slightly larger in stature. Always afraid to hurt them otherwise.

Must say though, proportionately developed chest is nice though.

My ex looked like a tall pillsbury dough boy and giggled like him too. (probably giggle is why is the EX)

Good luck at the casino Tom and Trish. You two are soo good together just like TnT

Mikki - size 8 U goooo Gurl!!!!

My male friend totally agrees with everyone, no matter how much weight I loose he prefers a little junk in the trunk. I keep telling him with having lost all this weight "THIS BABY FINALLY HAS BACK!!!!" it used to just blend from back to thigh, now I got bumps

I feel so ashamed and disgusted with myself, everytime I make arrangements to go to the gym, I get thrown in front of a bus. This time was son's delayed school due to snow then had to go to court to file contempt charges against ex. UUGGHHHHH!!!!!!

I soo need motivation to get to the gym. I know this is what has stalled my loss.

MG - KUTGW, slow and steady always won the race. I might have to try your suggestion on the ricotta instead of the cream cheese.

To everyone else I may have temporarily forgotten, due to the awesome but extensive posts - My love, prayers and wishes to all in finding your health, fairies and skinny genes. Got to get back to studying.

Congrats to Kathy!!!

Congrats to Mikki!!!

Congrats to anyone else who is a loser that I missed!!

I don't have a lot of time since I am going shopping with a friend this morning. I weighed in at 164.5lb this morning!! Woohoo!!
In addition I went to Old Navy for the first time in years...I actually wore and 18 in Old Navy last time I was there. I took a 12, 10, and an 8 in with me because while I knew in some clothes I was a 10, Old Navy tends to run smaller in my experience(compared to say Walmart) The 8 fit!!!!!!!!!!! I am 5'3 and 164.5lbs and can wear an 8 at Old Navy.
Now mind you I did get a 7/8 at Maurices, but my measurements were quite a bit bigger then so I think their sizing is larger maybe?

Anyway, my menu as requested is mainly leftovers again...sorry

B- Mocha Protein Shake(1 cup Chocolate Calorie Countdown, 1 small packet instant coffee, 1 scoop Whey Protein)

L- 1 cup Spaghetti Squash, 1/2 cup ground beef, 1/4 cup alfredo sauce

D- 4 oz pork loin, 1 cup cabbage (both cooked together in Sazon)

Probably snack on string cheese and cucumber with ranch.

Hope to check in later!!

Finally the scale has moved back down for me. I have had a 2.6 pound loss this week since stopping the CLA. I am still taking the GLA along w/the Udos 3-6-9 Blend Oil and I think I will stick with this. It's time to get back to my signature weight now.

Congrats to all you other losers out there! KUTGW!

Congrats FreeingMyself-isn't that the best feeling?

MG- Well Im not hungry at all today. Having to make myself eat. I am going to do some calorie/carb cycling to see if it pops my metabolism. Funny thing is I reweighed after posting this morning and now im down 3 lbs from yesterday even with the cheat rofl. I guess my body was like hey she is eating again lol.

I wont be doing the egg rolls as I tried to make the wrappers and they were HORRID!!! The dog wouldnt even lick them rofl he ran. I am adding a bit of fruit back in cause I really think my body is wanting something different. Plus I got real wobbly shopping today and about passed out.

Anywho, dinner tonight will be pork chops and mixed vegs.

Mikki- & Freeing- You doing good in those 8s. Littlest I have ever been in my life is a 9 so Im closing in on that.

I put on my Old Navy skinny jean size 12 today and have to wear belt to keep them up so I guess Im losing inches. Some days I feel like I have and some I dont. We are our own worst critics.

Hey Marsha,

I actually cut my protein powder in half to try to lower my protein, but here's my original shake:

Now Whey Isolate Protein powder - DUTCH CHOCOLATE (2 scoops is one serving)
1/4 cup organic flax seed
1 TB unsweetened cocoa
dash of stevia
dash of vanilla extract
2 TB FiberSure

In a blender (I use a VitaMix), place the flax seed and 2 scoops of protein powder. Add 2 cups of water and whiz until thickened. Add remaining ingredients, 6 large ice cubes and 5 cups of water. Whiz on HIGH until blended well, about 2 minutes. You should have 8 cups of shake.

If you can't drink all 8 cups at once, refrigerate the remaining portion and whiz it again just before drinking.

It really helps me stay full. The Now Protein Isolate has 7 carbs and 240 cals for 1 serving (2 scoops). Add the rest to the count.

What is it about driving in a car that makes me sleepy? I only went 60 miles, 30 over and 30 back, to Menards to get some paint. My wife thinks the front room needs painted. Anyways, I got home and I am ready to crash.

Speaking of my wife, a girl she works with told her the other day that she had a ghetto booty. My wife said gee, thanks. The other girl said No, no, no, that's a good thing! I have always thought her "ghetto booty" was nice. Even told her that many times. She never listens to me. Hows come is it when I say she has a nice butt she always says she has a big fat butt? I always respond 'well, I like your butt and thats all that matters.' That comment is usually followed with a lite smack to her hind quarters. That smack is usually folled buy a good solid hit to the mid section. My mid-section.

Eats today have been:
2 sausage, egg, and cheese muffins.
2 sirlion steaks
a little bit of beef pot roast.
My fair share of water.

Think I'll have some sugar free jello in a little while and figure out what I'll have for lunch tomorrow.

Hey Chic! Tell me more about that LC chilli you made for your super bowl party. It's da-gum cold here and a thick bowl of chilli sounds purdy dern tastey!

Lower body workout is tomorrow. I think I want to start doing some more core exercises. I need to work this pony keg down to a 12 pack. I've got this Firm DVD that should do the trick.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Take care,
Phil

Mikki- You look amazing!!! Your face/neck area is SO much nicer now!!

MG- I have mainly my tummy holding me back from smaller sizes still. It's going just not where I want it to I have the c-section flap still, but hey I earned that right??

Trish- Thanks, I don't usually shop, but since I have been wearing all of my husbands shirts(he wear a small/med mens) because mine are too big...I gave in a bought a few. I did end up buying the size 8 pants today...I couldn't help it, I was on cloud 9!!! I will have to take pics in my new stuff when DH gets back!

lildragonfly- How awesome on the loss, I hope it stays gone this time for you!!! Make sure you eat enough!!!

The littlest I ever wore was a size 10, so this is major for me. I had to tell DH since he called tonight to see how things were going. I am also wearing a medium in shirts from there. I have never wore medium shirt in women's because my ta-tas were too big Thank goodness for the breast reduction!! Now I am balanced

Phil- Us girls do hear the compliments you guys say, but I think we figure you "have" to say it cause you are married to us. It's always better to hear from others that don't love you unconditionally
Either way, it's nice that you still compliment her

Freeing is right. I just recently "allowed" myself to hear the compliment in statements like that. When my BF commented that he liked that I was small and curvy, I heard "short and fat", but I realize that he is not making a digg and he is just expressing his appreciation for me.

KYCowgirl -I just got around to reading about your friends daughter and Wendy's. I see a lawsuit coming. I wonder how many other customers those people treat like crap. It happens, and nobody knows or believes it till a class actions suit comes around, then the managers cover their yowsas by firing the jerks that they used to let get away with it. You practically have to BEG just to get napkins and they do that over some disposable straws!

MG - I'm glad you are here.

Everybody else - Y'all are just too dang funny and you talk too much! I can't keep up. I feel like a lurker, when I log in and there are 6 pages of post since last time!

I just found my borage oil capsules. I think I may add this to the CLA that I take in the morning. I don't know why really , just because. I got it a long time ago, then forgot why I got it so I didn't take it. Now that I've found It again, I'm gonna take it and re-read the first post for the details. I must've had a good reason for getting in the first place.

I never had a c-section, but I've definitely got the flap after having 6 kids! I want it gone! If it was gone I could wear smaller pants also.

Congrats to all in smaller sizes!! Y'all give me hope!

I have to add that I don't like little skinny men either! My hubby is 5' 11"and is now down to 252 lbs from 285-he's looking to get to about 210. His little brother is 5' 9" and about 180, little runt looking next to my hubby

Have a great night all! I'm gonna go get in bed and watch the grammys!

Howdy Ya'll Glad to see everyone Tonight!!!

Mikki - the Pics are amazing, You Go Gurl Love you hair down, you look so much prettier and younger.

Freeing - Congrats on the size 8s You ROCK!!!!!. How do you cook your spaghetti squash cuz you meal sounds fab!!

Lisa - Way to go on the 2.6/3# loss. Keep it coming

Phil - Why don't we take this in smaller steps, try for a 30 pack then case and then 12 pack. Got make sure you lose slow and steady to KEEP it OFF. We can't have you imploding like the StayPuff Marshmallow man in Ghostbusters.

MG - How long does it take you to drink the 8 cups of protein drink? Do you drink this in place of your water for the day? The reason I ask is I can only drink 4-6 OZ maximum at a time and not within 30 minutes before or after my food.

To all I have failed to mention above. GREAT JOB IN YOUR GOALS!!! Look foward to hearing from you all again soon.

Congrats Marsha!!!!!! Sounds like you are doing good!!

Dani- I just cut the squash in half, lay it skin side up on a Pam sprayed cookie sheet and cook for about 30-45 minutes(or until the skin is pierced without too much resisitance) Then carefully just take a fork and get a bowl and start scooping out the strings!! The meal is fab!!

I actually changed my menu yesterday since there was impromptu lunch/dinner outing after shopping Now get this, We went to Barnes and Nobles and I got nothing except a hot cocoa for DS!! We went to Tony Roma's(yummy!) and I ate no bread and 2 hot wings off my friends appetizer plate even though it was offered several times to try the onion blossom thingy(that was not worth it!!) I ordered a 9oz sirloin bleu cheese crusted with portabello mushrooms and double side of broccoli and a diet pepsi(the soda was my "treat' since I don't drink it often) I was kinda scared since I wasn't sure about all of the sodium etc in the meal, but went as legal as possible!!
This morning.......
Down to 163.5lb I have only 3.5lb and can use my spa package gift certificate from Christmas(I saved it...against my DH's wishes for a "reward" for getting to 160!!) I am now going to schedule the appointment because they ask you to scedule the packages a couple weeks ahead of time. It includes parrafin dip, massage and facial..like 3 hour package!! It was a wonderful Christamas present and sicne he got me a sapphire ring I figured I could wait on the spa thing until I made it to 160lbs and now I am so happy I waited! (I was 177lbs on January 1st..lol)

So that's my new for the day!
My menu as requested:

B- Mocha Protein shake(I STILL feel full after that meal yesterday!)

S- Cheesestick

L- BET with mayo

S- Cucumber with ranch

D- Spaghetti squash alfredo leftovers!

Calories- 1570
Fat 74% or 128 g

Thank you:blush: I was being silly and dare I say...conceited as I thought I looked really good wtih make-up hair did etc... So I took a bunch of silly pics.

I think maybe more legal carbs definately did it for you. Funny but a lot of people think staying really low will help and actually it hinders your weight loss eventually and you can't go any lower It works if you add things that are healthy for your body and your mind. I say this only because I noticed when I ate sweets, it made me crave more. When I thought straight enough to eat well, it made me FEEL good enough to want to eat that way. My friend offered me a GIANT symphony bar(oh god the kind with toffee and everything) because she bought like 6 and they were only 40 cents each at the PX....She says "You can have one" I say "No, I can't" we go back and forth and I finally decided...it's not that I can't...It's now that I don't want to, it is finally NOT WORTH IT!! I reached that point where processed stuff just isn't worth risking my health for. My health or my newfound sense of how great I am looking!! I would rather have a nice bowl of expensive-when-out-of-season-strawberries with real whipped cream, then eat a candy bar. If I truly "need" chocolate, then I melt some severe dark chocolate and dip those delish strawberries in it...even better!
I have also decided it makes ME feel special when I spend time thinking about what to serve my body, what to fuel it with and most of all how my body is now rewarding me for its special treatment now

Yes I am learning that too. I knew how my eating changed when I went out to eat and questioned the waiter to death about how they cooked food, was it real or imitation cheese, etc..lol. Im best off cooking at home. I am starting to like exercising again too. I cant wait for it to get warmer so I can walk outside. I hope my face slims down and I get rid of turkey neck lol. I tell you after only 3 hrs of callanetics I can see bones and muscles I couldnt before. I am totally impressed with it so far. BTW I have to thank Lisa , cause she is one told me I should maybe add fruit. I believe she was right on.

Well if you watch video you will think its no biggie, but doing the movements is something all together different. I tell you the next day I hurt in muscle areas I didnt know i had. There is a thread in exercise forum about it and Twyla aka watch me shrink talked to me about it, her before and after pics are amazing. Its kinda like pilates but it works the inner muscles more. It lengthens them so you dont bulk up. You can google callanetics and look at it. The videos are from the 70s but the instructor is amazing. Here is the before and after link.
