WOE: still figuring it out!
Start Date: Restart-Everyday!!
I'm with ya on the treadmill(or elliptical) I did a 5K on the treadmill Thursday in my best time yet 42:36! I was tired, but felt good! I'm supposed to be doing a 10K today, don't know if I will get it done I should have done half this morning and finished tonight but I have been cleaning house all day. It hasn't been fully cleaned since we got back from Disneyland last week and it was driving me crazy! Kids think vacation from school is a vacation from housework too! NOT TODAY!!

Trish-Hope you are feeling/breathing better now! I'll have to look up the Chasteberry

I'm in 16/18 now, I would LOVE to be in 12/14!! If I could just get these 15 lbs off so I could start the combo! I think I'm starting induction again tomorrow!

Evening Y'all,

I am so BUMMED! I have been trying on my clothes and ya know, I haven't budged an inch in weeks. How come??? I've been working hard and not cheated except one day. I can't believe my dress that was tight on me last month is STILL tight on me, no change! I wish there was a crying emoticon.

Yes, I am discouraged, but I'm still keeping on as this WOE is the only way for me. But, I'm just not understanding why the COMBO is not helping me. Perhaps it just doesn't work for everyone?

chic, no real strict plan just yet. Most of us are beginners on the exercise part so the plan is to just do something each day to get into an exercise routine, and to post it here to stay accountable. Anyone else have a plan, we are open for suggestions . I firmly believe, that with any diet plan, exercise is a key factor to firm up as you lose.

I'm hoping I can walk on the thing for 10 min. at a leisurely pace without having a coughing fit. What were you thinking of?

I hope the weight comes off, because I started this at 207 and was down to 203.5 and now back to 205.5. I know it is the meds, but man does it hurt to see that on the scale, especially since I haven't eaten that much.

Did you say you were getting an old sink for your house? I forget. I love old furniture. I have a fairly new home (12 yrs.), but I wanted this big old stone farmhouse that had a wrap around porch. Unfortunately, the place didn't have electricity at all and was somewhat delapidated. My DH isn't a fiixer-upper, so we didn't buy it. My heart was broken. Now, the place is awesome! People finally (6 years later - it was vacant for probably 10 yrs.) bought it and added more onto the house and it is huge. I believe that 2 families live there (parents w/children and grandparents). I just love it. (Okay, I'm rambling and it is not even on topic.)

Hi everyone!!! I haven't posted in a few days, so here I am.
I lost the pound that the glutamates have put on and so I'm looking for new numbers! I have also lost another inch in my bust and one inch in my waist, since the last time I posted.....before x-mas I think.
I ride my excersize bike everyday, for an hour, sometimes it's two or three, spread throughout the day, if I'm not at work. I love the "me" time, and get to read my books.. I just ordered WATP dvd's...it's new with 5 dics and a excersize band. I got it on QVC, for $25. not bad for 5 dics. Hope I like it. I have her other ones.

Everyone is doing good here!! I had ALOT to read...whew!!! But as always...good info.

Keep up the good work guys!! I'll pop in when I can.

I mean, how much can you say about the combo that hasn't been said already lol, and I really enjoy getting to know you all and I am sure others do too, so post away

Cool! Since you've mentioned that it's okay to post off the subject topics what if we posted some fun questions every so often to keep things interesting? I really enjoy getting to know people too and this would keep things fun and interesting. Answering a questions is totally optional! For example:

If you were forever stranded on a deserted island and could only bring one luxury item with you, what would it be?

Mine would be an all over moisturizer with sunscreen.
I bet Phil's would be a bow and arrow!

congrats - mikki! ON YOUR LOSS AND YOUR NEW 9/10! I haven't posted much lately. Had lots going on. Vacation, car problems, and family got sick. Also, embarrassed as not much good to say. I had huge obstacles going into this. I did concur one which was where I work. I work from 4 am - 2 pm at a bagel shop. Homemade cookies, muffins, bagels, breads, etc., and I can finally go into work and not eat what is in front of me all day. It is still a temptation, but I have been leaving it alone. I have my combo which I take in the am, but I probably would be doing so much better is I could solve my nighttime eating problems. I actually feel like I am in a trance in the middle of the night I wake up to eat. I have done this for the past 2 years and of course, gained about 70 pounds. I tell myself I will not do this, and it makes me sick to think about it, but I still do it - and then I do feel sick. Anyway, does anyone know of any supplement that might help with this? Did anyone here of Chelated Magnesium helping? Thanks again for your support, I will try to post more and congrats to everyone who is doing so good!

So did I, until I read further!

Um, I'll take the toilet paper. We can share - moisturizer w/sunscreen, Trish's mascara, Phil can take his bow and arrow to shoot the deer that Tom takes so we can eat and we can use lildragonfly's matches to start the fire to cook over! Cool, I think we have it all together without even realizing it! (As long as we are stranded on the same island.)

Mikki - girl! Strut your stuff, girlfriend. (We want pics, too.)

duece - Sorry, I do not know of a supplement that will help with night time eating. I do know that magnesium helps to calm stress, is good for your heart, helps resolve some potty issues and can even help play a part in the prevention of migraines (so I've read in Energy Times). Perhaps ask on the LCF Health board and maybe someone with the same problem will come in and offer some advice. Good luck.

Yes, thanks, better than yesterday.

That game was pitiful and lost my interest other than DH yelling at the TV. (We're Steelers fans, of course.)

Oh my gosh, toilet paper IS a must isn't it? Good thinking.

Jane....? This waking up in the middle of the night to eat sounds pretty deep. Have you talked with anyone who deals with certain eating disorders? I'm sure your general doctor could recommend someone in this field. Sorry....it just sounds like there is more to it than what a certain supplement could fix.

Boy you all have been busy. I've been a way from the broards one day and had a lot of catching up to do. Today has been good so far. Have only been up from 8 hours though. I work nights at the hospital so I'm almost half way through my shift. (have some down time right now , yes I am at work.) I did walk the dog today before I went in though.
I don't have any exercise equiptment can I join in the exersice challenge anyway by walking my dog daily. I only walk 1 right now my goal is to walk all 4 together.
I'm taking the combo along w/ my vitamens and eating clean. I'll try to post my measurements next week some time.
Hope ya'll have a wonderful night.

thanks for your replies - I'll check into your suggestions. Justachic - it probably is more than a supplement could change my problems - wish I knew. I know after my husband died I started getting up at night and eating ice cream - comfort food I guess. Who knows. Then my dad died last year, and my dog just died 11/6 on my birthday. Maybe I don't dare go to sleep! I'm not giving up - I'll keep trying.

Rachel, sureeeee you can join. We will just call it the exercise challenge !! ANY exercise will do, that leaves it open for everyone to get involved. Everyone can post whatever exercise they did that day.

Jane , you hang in there and don't give up. We may not have the solution for you, but what we can give you is plenty of support. Don't be afraid to come here and chat, vent, rant or whatever you feel like at the moment....we are good listeners and sometimes it just helps to let it out. You wont find any criticism here, just friends wanting to be there for you. I lost 2 dads, my grandma, and my dog too, so I know how heartbreaking that can be

Down to 186 this morning! Dropped 2 lbs since I started retaking the combo. Guess I'm gonna have to find where I hid the %^$#@&*() tape measure and do some measuring.
