I have hard time falling asleep and then staying asleep Michele, good for you for getting on that treadmill. Tom just got off. He was on there a long time. I am going to do it tomorrow !!!! Tom ooopsie rolls dont taste eggy at all, they taste like real buns. I ALWAYS get the whole, organic seeds and grind them in the blender, VitaMix or coffee grinder. It's best to grind them just before using for freshness. And I always store the whole seeds in the FREEZER, never at room temp. You did the right thing by getting the whole seeds! You don't want to buy the meal already ground. |

I really like the organic Golden flax seeds. They grind up fine and they have a much milder flavor. Very nice! But the brown ones are good too, I just like the milder Golden ones. Make sure they are organic though. ![]() |

Hi Michelle, I don't have a muffin top pan either, I just made mounds on my Silpat on a cookie sheet. You can use parchment too. Personally, I can't stomache the Ooopsie rolls, they gag me! But some people love them. It's all what you like. I really love the flax buns. Also, these are much easier to make. I didn't care for all the egg white whipping and folding. ![]() |

Sounds like you didn't beat your eggs stiff enough, make sure no yolk at all gets into the eggwhite and use cream of tarter. When you fold in the yolk mixture do it very gently and don't fold more than 10 times, its ok if it isn't completely mixed. Hope this helps I made a double batch today, trish is loving them! Tom |

Hello losers! ...and I mean that with all do respect! Y'all are AWESOME!
I weighed in this morning but I have forgoten what the number was. I have had so many numbers running through my head today that my head is spinning. Hey Chic. We need to start calling you our exercise guru! I wish I had your motivation. I did do 100 sit-ups this morning. At least its a start. MountainGirl...Those sammich buns look pretty good! michelemomof2...That's a great feeling when you get off that threadmill. I remember when I was lifting everyother night. I would put on some drakkar after my shower in the morning. After working out after work I would be dripping with sweat and smelling pretty good. Well, I thought I smelled pretty good anyway. All I could smell was that drakkar. ![]() ADLMA...WOW! 4.5 pounds of hair. That's a lot of hair. That reminds me, I need my hair cut. Half an inch is too long for me. I bet your hair looks great though! ![]() I have been in the process of getting all my hunting stuff cleaned up, washed up and de-sented. It's all going into vacuum bags and put in totes for next October. Everything but my turkey hunting stuff. I'll chase them in April. My goal is to get that stuff put away, get the basement orginized and set-up to start lifting again. I want to start Body For Life on Monday. I remember the last time I was lifting...I was at a softball game and grabed hold a 2 x 4 in the dug out and did my first ever pull-up. I was floored!Alright, gotta go for now. BBL.

cant believe Heath found dead. What a wonderful actor he was.
That honestly goes to show you though depression can strike anyone, even if you supposedly have the world at your fingers. I love my oopsie rolls. I just made a batch with garlic and butter on them. They make my mornings easy on the go I can make a sammich and head out. Ok going to go do some pilates while csi on. |

Phil - I hope you get your hunting gear all cleaned up and put away in good time so you can tackle the basement. My exercise equipment is all pushed over to one corner of the basement and I have to pull out what I need to use...there is junk everywhere down there and no way am I tackling that job!
![]() Mikki - I don't see what is wrong with your neck. I made the revoloopsie rolls okay, but I just am not crazy about them. Lots of people love them though. I was excited when I first made them and posted on Cleo's thread about it, but now I think I would like to add stuff so they taste better. Trish - Love the pic of Tom on the ab lounger. ![]() Vickilynn - Did you mean I can just put LindaSue's flax roll on a baking sheet? I put my revoloopsie rolls on a sheet of Reynold's Release foil and they came off great. I hope you mean LindaSue's recipe I don't need a muffin top pan for because I would like to try to make those. Congrats on 25 years together. Our 25th anniv. is in Oct.

OMG, I read the article on Heath. DH was like OMG!
Last night we got a call at midnight from DD#1 at college in TN, who said that a friend called her and told her to stay in her apt. because there were 2 men that had guns spotted across from her apt. near or in the parking garage. She was asking if you can shoot through doors, etc. OMG, I was so worried. I told her DO NOT go outside. She said there were police and campus security all around the area. I had trouble getting back to sleep. Then today I get this email from the Dean: Dear Parents, This morning several of you have contacted us with questions regarding unusual activities at XXXXX Hall last night (Monday, January 21st). Brief reports in the local news media have prompted both curiosity and concern. Though we do not typically use this forum for daily communication, in this case I wanted to clarify information and allay any concerns you might have. Last night we responded to a call from a student involving a potential sighting of armed men in the parking garage behind XXXXX Hall. Campus Security, Student Affairs and Metro Police responded immediately by searching the area and XXXXX Hall. No evidence was found of suspicious persons or any unauthorized intrusion into the residence hall. After a second 911 call, (referencing the initial report) we secured the area and initiated a room-by-room search of the facility. Again, no evidence was found to substantiate intruders of any kind. As a result, a security alert to the entire campus was not initiated. I want to reassure you that we care deeply for the safety of your sons and daughters and will respond assertively to potential threats. To this end, we are committed to cultivating effective campus personnel and procedures and continue to review and refine them based on experience. We realize that the response itself can create concern in the greater campus community and are seeking to address that concern through a variety of communications this morning. Sincerely, XXXXX, Dean of Students |

Wow Michele Im sorry. That had to be so scary. I would have thought Id heard this on news I will watch again tonight.
Kathy- wow that scary too. My daughter and I went to NYC about 3 years ago and we were walking down street and my daughter being a kid swings her arms and we were holding hands and this homeless man tries to grab her and was yelling at her to stop swinging her arms and that he was going to kill us. All these women around us start yelling and screaming at him and the cops did absolutely nothing. Last edited by lildragonfly; 01-22-2008 at 04:01 PM.. |

Yeah, it freaked me out and her. I told her to stay away from the door and get in her bedroom and lock her bedroom door and stay away from the window in her bedroom.
