Hi all. I too am watching the football games. Dallas is on right now.

lildragonfly, michele and iabowhunter, thanks for the compliments. That was too kind of you all.

I love the new pics, also !! We all can reach our goals knowing that we have each other to lean on. For support and even if it's just to laugh at ourselves from the before pictures. And to think, when I was 140 pounds, I thought I was way too heavy. Now I just laugh at myself. If only I had that now. Who knew !!!

Freeingmyself, a big to you on your loss. I am jealous !! How cool is that !!

iabowhunter, my 6-yr old nephew is a fishing fanatic. He is teaching me all about fish. The names, the best place to fish and so forth. I should know all about fishing by the summer time.

Trish, I'm glad you had a good time. I hope you feel ok today.

Well, gotta get back to the game.

Deanna

ymonette, I'm sorry you got your feelings hurt , I'm sure Lisa misunderstood your question. The combo has been known to make some of us queezy for a few days, but I haven't heard of anyone actually getting sick from it until now. It is possible that you may have a sensitivity to it like Lisa suggested. I would either stick with it for a few days and see if the queezies go away, or maybe stop taking it for a few days and see it that is what is causing it. Could be your catching a bug or something instead. I say this because my daughter tried it and got sick from what she thought was the combo, and stopped taking it and ended up having a stomach virus . She now associates the combo with being sick and will not try it again . If you decide to stick with it, maybe try taking it with CC milk or protein. That really helps me. Let me know how things work out please

Ymonette - I, too, am sorry you got your feelings hurt. I don't know anyone on this site that would do that on purpose. Lis... I'm sure did not mean that, I think she meant what lengths we all could go to, to try and lose weight. I am desperate to lose weight, and, probably would do about anything, and if that happened to me, I would probably hear the same thing. She probably said it as a friend would, to tell you the up front truth. I heard similar things to me, because I was being way too hard on myself, and was told that, and it honestly, woke me up. So, please, try and use the information as useful, not negative. I am a newbie myself, struggling everyday, with major issues. Write anytime as I would love to hear from you again. How about some more info and maybe we could help each other? Love all you girls!

I was asking if this happens to others, asking if it will diminish with time like other side effects of taking supplements sometimes do, and asking what can be done to make it okay.

I'm sure you have self esteem issues, we likely all do, I sure do, but I don't think it's okay for you to put others down especially since you KNEW I WAS A NEWBIE. Shame on you for hurting someone to make yourself look "more knowledgeable".

ymonette aka. the newbie who was not feeling well from the CLA/GLA.

No one is making fun of you. Take a deep breath and take a look at what you posted. You said the vomiting was severe enough it was reminding you of your bulimic days. I truly felt sorry for you and wanted to help you. Never ever take anything that keeps making you vomit-especially if it's over a 24 hour period-it's simply not a matter of getting "used to it" at this point. Your health is what matters-and I was truly concerned. Sorry to have hurt your feelings but I needed to vent after reading and responding to your post. I didn't do it to make myself look more knowledgeable-at this stage in my life that's not a necessity for me. I am always reading and researching and hope to never stop learning. I am plain speaking and try to help-sometimes people don't want to hear what is right in front of their nose-so be it. Just an FYI-there is an ignore feature you can utilize to block posts that people make. Good luck with your weight loss journey!

Mikki, woohoo girl, your one hot momma in that blue dress and blonde hair !!! You look pretty good to me in the other pics too !! Love that shirt too. 30.5 inches gone, and 40 Lbs you go girl !!!!

Lisa, after our wedding, they talked us into going to a bar called hogs & honeys and got me up to dance on the bar in my wedding dress lol I had guys at the bar putting dollars in my garter lol. I have a pic of that I'll find and post. That will never happen again !!!

Michele, I Love Longhorn Steakhouse !!! I like O'Charlies better but, I gotta stay away from there, I am addicted to those sour dough rolls. They are sooooo good I could eat only those lol

metqa, welcome to the thread , I take my cla & gla all at once. I take the liquid so you can't split it up anyway lol. I think you will like it better when your pills are gone. I take my fish and flax oil caps later in the day

Phil, I wish the cla would go on sale again so we could stock up !!!

VickiLynn, no hangover here, thank goodness I was just a lil tipsy. I dont like to get drunk. When I start feeling it, I stop drinking. I just really like the taste of Long Island ice tea. hate to look up the carb count in them (if any). Its mostly booze. I know about making ends meet from before I got married. I hope you find a way to help your dd and still keep your head above water

Deanna, feeling great today, ty

We did good on our eating today. Tom made the 1-minute muffins with cream cheese topping for breakfast. They were soooo good !! Then we had jalapino hamburger patties on the foreman grill with kosher pickle spears. SF jello for desert with SF whipped cream (land-o-lakes). I havent weighed today, skeered to after the pecan pie last night

Thanks jabowhunter and kycowgirl, for answering my question. I've started taking them today. If you have to take them with protein, I should probably take them with my lunch, as i a a very unreliable breakfast eater.

Someone suggested drinking milk, or CC, do you think yogurt would also work as the protein, or should I snag a slice of bacon? YUmmm, Bacon!!!!

Mikki - Wowie! You look hawt in that pic, gf!

Lisa - We stayed at Harrah's when we were in Vegas. We ate brunch at Bellagio's and I swear we went through almost all the casinos up and down the strip! It was soooo much fun! My trip was with a group of LCF peeps on a challenge group I've been with for several years. We all have become very good friends and had a blast in Vegas.

I loved Vegas when I went. It was so cool. I have grown up in a small rural area so I was amazed.

ymonette- Lisa was not making fun of you. I believe she was just venting about the whole situation. No one is here to make fun of anyone. We are all here to help each other whether we like what each one of us say or not its always good to hear advice from others.

Mountain- I will pray for your financial situation. I completely understand it. And glad to see you back

Trish- You dont wanna know the carb count in that drink lol.So dont look it up.

And to everyone else have a great evening and Ill see you guys in the morning.

Have you ever been to JP's coffee house up their in Holland? My youngest neice works there when shes home from school.

Tom and Trish...I thought of both of you last night. We were watching a show on TV and this couple got married on horseback. I thought right then, 'that sounds like Tom and Trish.' They left on a wagon being pulled by a tractor pulling tractor and three kegs tied to the wagon. That sounds like a wedding I want to go to! It was pretty cool!

When does that stuff go on sale anyway?

MountainGirl...Two deer, 1 with the bow and 1 with the muzzleloader.

Phil - SORRY, I slipped! Love you guys, too. Yes, I have been to JP's - I go there a lot. You said your niece works there when shes home from school, so, I'm assuming she lives in Holland too? I work at another "famous" coffee shop in Holland, up at 4 am every weekday.
MountainGirl - I know exactly what you are saying. I work and work and never seem to get ahead. Ever since my husband died, it has been a struggle for me. I also have a handicapped son (23) at home to take care of, and, I took on a foster child who is 18 years old. I have not had health insurance for 13 years now. I too, am trying to help my daughter who is in her 5th year of college. I think that is why I am having a hard time trying to do something for myself. I have never really put myself first and thought about what I was doing to myself. Always had the kids first, what they needed and/or wanted. I still put them first, but, now need to move myself up on the list. It's hard when all the bills are due, and just within the past 2 weeks, I had to put new brakes on my car, new battery, new tires, my vaccuum is now "smoking" and my hair dryer caught on fire yesterday. WOW! It is always something. Sorry about rambling. Everyone, take care of yourselves and be proud of what you are doing!

Can I make a recommendation? Last year I bought the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University course through our church. I wasn't able to attend the classes as I work alot of Saturdays but I read through it all and I was hooked. I started to see where I needed to fix things and started cutting back and saving money. And PRAISE GOD I DID! The factory I work at went on strike and I was on the picket(sp?) line for for almost 3 weeks, with out a worry. I had meat in the freezer and money in the bank. When I got a bill in the mail I wrote out a check and sent it right back at them. When I wasn't walking the line I was fishing. I always listen to him on the radio on the way home from work and it helps alot. Here is a link to his website:Real Debt Help - Get out of debt with Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover Plan.He takes a common sense approach to financial peace and I highly reocomend him to you and anyone else. I'll be praying for you as well.

Phil - We love you and Tom, too.

Mikki - Sometimes when I get bored of the same thing, I will make hard salami roll ups. You can spread cream cheese on the salami and roll them up and eat them. Salami does have sodium, but I have never really experienced a big problem with it because I don't eat it every day.

Lisa, I actually danced on the bar so my friend wouldn't get arrested lol. She was a lil tipsy and was trying to drag me up there and I didn't want to go. 2 bouncers came over and took her arms and were going to escort her out because they thought she was harrasing me lol. So I told them she was a friend and got on the bar to keep her from getting thrown out lol. Shes the short blond in the black sweater next to me. Thats my sister on the lower right of the pic

metqa, your very welcome . Yogurt will do very nicely.

Marsha, in that case, I'm glad I didn't get on the scale today

Phil, now thats a wedding !!! The liquid cla is now on sale at Netrition !!!! Making my list now !!!

Jane , I admire you and VickiLynn for all you do to keep the homefront going . How are you doing on your nightly binges? Still staying away from them ?

Oh Michele, I forgot about the salami roll ups, oh so good !!!

No one noticed my new av from last night *sniffles*

SOOOOO, I may not be able to afford the COMBO right now, but I'm praying I can find some cheap.

Justachic: IF I ever really hit goal (it seems impossible at this point with the scale and tape not moving), I really don't have a clue what I'll do! I just can't visualize it, so if it happens, I'll do something then. Got's to be inexpensive though!
Mountain girl.....we are your support group right? Well then I'm allowed to tell you to stop being (your words) a KVETCH would ya??? Sorry but there is a lot of negativity being spewed here. So the lbs and inches don't seem to be budging. It's okay....you may have hit a plateau, you'll get over it by staying diligent in your WOE and getting active! You gotta keep in mind that diet alone won't get you where you want to be. Forget the gazelle if you have to and just go for a long fast walk. Too cold outside? Go to an indoor mall and window shop and visualize what you'll be wearing as YOUR goal's big reward. Not only will the exercise speed up your metabolism, it will help you clear your mind so your not as emotionally clouded. By having your mind clearer, this in turn can help you focus on what needs to be done with your finances. and faith will get you through all your finance woes and your need to achieve healthy weightloss. Pray for strength in getting through your financial delima and for strength to visualize and incorporate fitness into your life. Without both, nothing will change! Do you have a Walmart near by? They have the least expensive supplements I've seen and they are the ones that I'm taking now. REMEMBER...you have to visualize something before you can make it happen, so please don't say you can't anymore!

Trisha....That's a really pretty wedding dress! You guys look like you are having a blast. And yes I did noticed your new av. That must have been from last night's party.

Jilly , silly girl lol you do NOT look horrible !!! I'm with chic, no more negativity. We all need a little "tweaking" but thats what we are here for. I know how hard it was to post those pics, trust me lol, but its worth it to strive really hard for better pics the next month. I know how thankful I am to have met each and every one of you here. And without this extra weight, I never would have. We are all in this together, pictures and all. I personally love all the pics being posted , y'all are fantastic and beautiful in my eyes !!!! to all of you !!!

and Jilly, I love your av, you look so happy . Tell him TY for me. It is so nice to see another hubby that is so supportive !!!
